I had said before we started that I would keep a misdirection trick implanted on Myth, but then I neglected to ever do so in-game I guess. Just as well, since he critted anyway. In the future, I'd like to just assume I implant a trick on him as soon as combat is over when I have used it. I will also implant as soon as we are finished with this fight.

"Don't kill the lizard! It may have information for us." Jerb trots forward, keeping behind Patros as best he can. He fixes a glare on the lizard, hoping to help put it down gently.

I barely have to double move to get close enough to do much. I am using hypnotic stare as a swift action. It gets -2 to Will saves, and the next successful attack against it this round does 1 extra damage. And yes I can speak with animals.

A silly gnome cartwheels his way into the room. "Hello fellows! I am Jerbrick and I shall providing some much needed merriment on this venture." He looks around at the grim crowd and whistles. "MUCH needed."

Seeing Leppin, he lights up. "Ah, another gnome! Always a pleasure, friend."

Finally he approaches the archer, sizing him up. "You, sir, look like you could use my help. I'm quite skilled at distracting enemies."

For the record, Jerb specializes in his misdirection trick which he will be implanting on Myth whenever possible. When the trick is active, when Myth attacks, I can roll a bluff (feint) check at +12 to make Myth's target flat-footed. Works pretty nicely with sneak attackers.

When Rayquaza uses his dragon attack, Jerb attempts to distract the enemies.

I thought I posted before that I would always keep Rayquaza "tricked" but I can't find that now. Maybe it got eaten? Anyway, from now on, after every combat, I will automatically implant a new misdirection trick on Rayquaza.

Jerb scurries forward to Rayquaza and taps him, saying, "I can help you find an opening on that trasheater." The little gnome turns and stares at the creature which has so rudely rejected his generosity.

Also using hypnotic stare. Otyugh gets -2 Will saves. The first person to hit it gets 1 extra damage also. And if/when Rayquaza attacks, Jerb will attempt a feint on his behalf so he can hit flatfooted.

Upon seeing Nigel's wand, he laughs and produces his own. "They must have been getting rid of inventory. I was just given a brand new one as well! And of course I can't make very good use of it either."

I have +9 UMD but someone with the spell on their list can handle the wands hopefully.

Using hypnotic stare as swift action. Minotaur gets -2 on Will saves. Also +1 damage on the next attack against, 1d6 if it's me.

attack + inspire courage: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 1 = 15
damage+inspire: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

If that hits:

painful stare: 1d6 ⇒ 4
