one must go slowly to draw in fans of the other parts of the crossover...remember the fan base for star trek isnt as strong in britan as it is here....likewise the same for doctor who here in the states...slowing down the story does give the readers time to learn about the characters of the other series. And to build the common personality traits of those characters, like The Doctor's interest in Cmdr. Data.
