Seeing that the creature is up some stairs, Jacob scoots past the old bard and stands in front of the creature and tries to slash at it.

Oh yeah, flanking...I forgot to add that to my rolls. But it wouldn't have helped anyway.

Stumbling back from that massive hit to his chest, Jacob then charges at the thug directly in front of him. However, his injury holds his swing back a little.

Since the others are too far away, Jacob will do something else other than try to hit them with the longsword this turn. Probably next turn. After the arc finished flowing through the thug, he dropped and Jacob completed moving across the deck. When he stops moving he sends off an orb of acid using his flask of acid as a focus.

After seeing Sun fall, Jacob drops his shortbow, draws his scimitar, steps forward and strikes out at the goon that dropped Sun.

Frustrated that he can't swing a blade, Jacob nocks another arrow and tries to shoot the goon he wounded already while being careful not to harm Sun or Clair.

Before entering the building Jacob draws his shortbow and walks behind Clair. When she opens the door, he expends some of his arcane power onto his shortbow, draws an arrow and shoots it at the nearest enemy as well.

Hearing the talk of deities, a young(ish) man perks up to listen. He has short brown hair and wears spectacles. He looks strong and makes you think that he is more of a brute than an intellectual. He is leaning against the wall, looking like he is nervous.
"I don't really follow any deities, but I think they are all cool." As an afterthought, he adds "Oh yeah, my name is Jacob Rahlquist." He doesn't seem like he is comfortable when people are paying attention to him when he is speaking.
