Nice, didn't thought of that.
So, in your opinion, what would be the most useful, a dirty tricks or a intimidate build?

Thanks for all the tips.
After all I think I'm going for the bloodrager primalist bloodconduit. With the bloodconduit I'll take the improved trip and then I'll take a more classic power attack/intimidate build I think. Dirty tricks requires intelligence and feats I not sure I want.

Ok, good to know! But how would you build it? I thought of the bloodrager but the barbarian with the beast totem seams nice too. And I checked the alchemist beastmorph/vivisectionist that seams fun.
But I need something that might perform well enough in the Hulk and the Bruce Banner form.

For the disabling build what feats would be useful?

Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I have a background and a character concept but no forking idea on how to put it into rules.

It's a demon who is tired of the eternal fighting between good and evil. With a buddy devil and a celestial they found a way to go to the material plane to live their lives. In the process, they lose much of their power and become, for rules sake, aasimar and tieflings. My character don't want to fight, he is more of a peaceful guy (but far from a good one, more a stay out of trouble one).

So, how I imagine it. Most of the time, he will fight with a fry pan. Yeah, it's cool. Probably using a mace or something like that for stats and not problem with proficiency. I don't want to do "much" damages but more debuffing ennemies like using dirty tricks and the like.
Then, sometimes, when he's really angry, he goes hulk. So a raging power and fighting with claws. I was thinking of the bloodrager with the abyssal bloodline. I know natural attack is not the best, but I'm sure I can make a deal with the DM to use as many attacks as weapon characters. And to take the improved natural attack feat when I'll have enough bab.

We'll start at level 1 to 13-15 in a custom campaign, with a 20 pts build, tiefling race of course. I'm open to any suggestion that will fit my ideas.

Thanks a lot for your brilliant insight and your time!

I didn't planned to play a monk but with good Dex and Wis that's what I thought was the best.
Yes, I'll do a ranged character. Safest bet.
I like archery, crossbow or pistol character so that might be good.

Yes they are in order. It would have been way too easy if I could have move them...

Hello,
After so many hesitations on what to play for my next campaign, my DM decided to make us roll for our ability scores.
I rolled 11 15 10 13 16 14, and I can move 2 points.
We're allowed to all paizo official books, no trait if we don't take drawback and my race has to be a tiefling but with all the variant heritage possible.
I was thinking maybe a monk but I'm not sure. I like to play support character but I'm open to all ideas.
Thanks a lot.

Hello everyone,
I'm trying a new character concept and I need your wisdom (or intelligence if that's how you roll).
I want to play a tiefling (it has to be one) that try to end fights with the less violence possible. I was thinking mainly using enchantments, illusions and these kind of means to stop his ennemies. But I'm open to suggestions (I thought of a disarming monk for exemple.)
I will start level 1 with a 20 points build and no traits except with drawbacks. And I don't like multiclassing much.
What do you think might be the most fun to play and yet useful?
Thanks for your advice!

Thank you all for your help.

To answer a little to your questions about what I would like to play. I tend to play mostly casters in our games. Because I like that, yes. But mainly because usually nobody in the group wants to do it.
For this party, I don't want a full caster. Ideally, I would have played a stealthy character who could buff his friends. I like the bard (and I'm starting to like the inquisitor too) but they got maybe a little bit to much spells.
And yet, I know our GM likes challenging fights and the other players won't be the most efficient fighters.
That's why I'm asking for your help. I'm trying to find a class/build that might please me and help our fights (and handle at least a part of what the other can't do outside of fights).
Once again I'm grateful for the time you take to help me.

For roleplay reasons infernal healing is nice. If for gameplay reasons I will play a tiefling, in the story we are a group of planar outcasts (a demon, a devil and an avoral) who went rogue and decided to stop fighting each other.
Same as the skald, I have no idea on how the shaman plays so I will definitely take a look.
Inquisitor might be a good idea, if I can build it more rogue like than armor and shiny like.

So, as I predicted the gunslinger doesn't feel like playing the party face.
I'm not really into the cleric vibe even if I agree it might be useful, so unless you have other ideas I think I'll go for a bard or a bard or a skald (never looked at this class).
Do you have any advice on want build and/or archetype to use?

It's a homebrew campaign. So the GM will adapt it a little to the group, but it's always better to cover the basics.
If I understood correctly, we'll start in a fairly advanced city (not modern guns but they will be common) and then go on a planar trip to Sigil and other planes.

Hello everyone,

I'm starting a new campaign with 2 other new players and I was looking for a good build to complete the group.

They will play a standard melee monk and a mysterious stranger gunslinger.
We start at level 1 (we will progress slowly to level 15 approximatly) with a 20 points build.
I have to play a tiefling for roleplay reasons but it can be any variant heritage or alternate racial traits.

I was thinking of playing a summoner so I could support the team with both my eidolon and my spells.
But I'm open to all suggestion and all builds (although I don't like multiclass much.)

Thank you for your insight.
