"Yeah... yeah, I'm fine. I have a letter I need you to deliver to your sister for me, Echorn." He said, sounding very drained and pulled out the paper and placed it in her hand.

"Now, I'm going to go get myself a damned drink. You coming with me?" He asked the harbormaster as he came up from behind Amoya. Before he placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her the chief hand. "Don't ever, ever change, Echorn." He told her as if giving her and order that left her more than a bit confused. She was one of the few females that didn't make his head hurt, and today, he had enough of women who didn't have it all together.

Now that Isaac had made his way out of the study where Alis and the others were discussing things, he was able to shake his head to clear it of the insanity that had just taken place. Looks were definitely deceiving with that group to say the least.

Pushing his loose blond hair out of his face, the Marshal walked out with his posture confidant, if not a little worn down with his head being down, trying to act as if nothing was bothering him. Though those who knew him better knew that something or someone had gotten under his skin and hurt his head with the way he was holding it.

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the harbormaster, talking with his corporal, Amoya. Oh god, he actually took me seriously? Well, she doesn't seem too terribly annoyed with him... he thought, which was a bit of a surprise to him. At least those were two people he wanted to talk too, one he needed to put on a mission, the other, he wanted to have a drink with now that there was no one around to impress anymore.

Isaac nodded to her, "When would my lady want to arrange a meeting with Amelia Echorn?" He asked, looking as though he was more than willing to go out if she needed him to find her as soon as possible.

"And um, just a warning... she's kind of got that voodoo vibe about her, so she's a little... unsettling at first." Isaac warned her quietly, not really sure how to describe the Twin sister of Amoya.

"Yes, You see, Lord Poe had brought it to my attention that you and Amhranai had mentioned finding someone to represent the Zuck people. I had mentioned to the young lord that I knew someone who could do a good job at that. Her name is Amelia Echorn. She's a little on the strange side, though the Zuck people are very fond of her. They see her as a Seer and a medicine woman. Her twin sister works for me, so it wouldn't be to hard to arrange a meeting with her if you were interested." Isaac suggested, hoping that he had not misheard anyone, or if Poe was being full of himself... again.

Isaac couldn't help but be a little overwhelmed by how horrid Alis' lunch in was. "Well then..." Isaac said, watching everyone either take their leave or get overly drunk.

He cleared his throat and looked towards Alis, "Um, your highness... As much as I'd like to continue this..." He paused for a moment, his left eye squinting slightly "interesting conversation... I heard I had missed your discussion about what to do about the natives. I have an idea and a person that would interest you."

Those who notice, can tell Isaac is trying his best not to be rude. Though it's very difficult with the poor display of Alis' companions (Before he came along) that he and probably many others weren't too impressed. He's trying very hard to change to topic to something with less drama in it.

Isaac listened to Poe as he filled them in on what Poe and his friends had been up too while he had been up to his eyeballs while dealing with the death of the late Governor and the late Marshall since he had been thrown right into to that position head first.

Though when Poe reached the part with the name, it honestly didn't ring any kind of bells to him, though he watched El and Sasha nearly choke on their drinks and freak out a little bit. Quirking a golden eyebrow high, he stared as Lureene asked him if he knew who that was and simply shook his head.

"Uh, no, can't say the name rings any bells to me... why, I feel like I should know." He said hoping one of the two girls would enlighten him as to what was going on with this Shivone person.

Isaac listened with amusement as Poe started on with some of his musings that he gathered from the mission that one of his officers had sent the lot of them on, of course he knew of it, he just kept it on the Down-Low since he was asked too. Though the fact that Sasha couldn't catch on to Poe just really made him feel like sitting out here was truly the right choice than listening to a heavy debate about something that he'll probably have to deal with later.

"Ah yeah, I'm sure your Aunt wouldn't summon such a creature... she has you to deal with." it was a light hearted tease, but they were all sooooo easy to pick on.

Though he turned his attention to the servant girl and smiled at her, "I'll have some wine too if you don't mind."

"Sasha, I believe, you're still missing the point at what Poe is trying to say... but, I don't think I was debriefed about these 'dark skinned elves' that you mentioned before... you say they were deep within Rivermarch? The only dark skinned elves I know, are the half-elves that are mixed with Zucks such as Amoya and her twin sister..." He said, hoping to keep the topic out here lighter than it was inside, he had a feeling Alis sent them out here for a reason.

So Amhranai thinks it wise for the princess to speak to the Zucks in person? I'm not sure how good of an idea that would be... maybe someone who is closer to them would be a better person to represent them, someone the Zuck people trust... I know Amoya has a sister who is a bit on the wild side, but she's very close to the Zuck people since she tends to give them alternative healing... He mused to himself as he rubbed his chin as the others continued on with their conversation.

Isaac nodded to Lureene when she mentioned that not all of them would want to become citiziens. "I am also well aware of that fact.. But giving them the option to have such things is a for sure way to let them know we haven't forgotten about them and things are changing and hopefully for the better... I just want things to be fair in this city even if we do have a monarchy here."

The Marshall was glad that something was going to be done about the zuck population in the city. He had been doing his best to give people work when he could. "My idea after they have attained citizenship was to try and find them more reliable jobs. That's the tricky part, creating enough work for all of the people who need it. Though, mind you I know a couple places that could use extra hands they can trust." Isaac tried to be an optimist about things he really did, as most of his ideas also relied on others to play ball with him on this.

Isaac listened to them as they explained to him what he missed while he was off doing some business and quirked an eyebrow at them as they talked about the zuck people as if they were a burden. The idea put a small frown on his face as he put his fingers to his lips.

"Hmm I have put plenty of thought into this 'problem'.."He said rolling his eyes in a slight mocking manner. "I believe, a process for those who want decent jobs with decent pay will be in order, I believe some kind of citizenship should help put more order in place, and while I believe racism will exist, it's the least we can do at the moment." he explained, this time, his causal smile wasn't on his face.

Isaac might not have been there for the whole assassination thing that went down, but he heard a bit of a different story from Amoya. With an amused smirk in Poe's direction he nodded, "Yep, Him, my Corporal, A rock man and a kitty cat tried to save the governess, very brave of them to risk their lives." Isaac saw no reason to rain on his parade, the girls seems to be interested in the tale.

Tapping his chin, he figured that what he had to go and do didn't require the princess' attention at the moment and took a seat with them. "I'll join you outside, it's a little too stuffy inside if you know what I mean." He said with a wink at no one in general and wondered if they would even get what he meant by 'stuffy'.

Isaac, finally coming back from being called off by one of his corporals couldn't help but raise a golden eyebrow at the trio by the reflection pool, one of which being Amoya's companion. While he heard her complain about him, there was a slight fondness in her voice that she didn't show for just anyone. He can't be all that bad if Amoya find's him amusing, he's just a kid... He reasoned and approached the three of them.

"Hello Ladies and Lord Poe, why are the three of you out here? What did I miss?" He said, whispering Poe's part to make him think he was part of the ladies, just to tease the young elven lord, a smile on his face to hide the fact that something could have been wrong in the first place.

"yes, I have to go for now, but I'll be back." he said putting a smile on for her, not wanting her to worry about anything.

He placed a hand on his side as he turned to look where Amoya had gone and let out a small sigh, "that would be the one and only corporal Amoya Echorn..." he said smiling a bit before turning to Jaro. "I think you'd have fun with that one, more than a petit princess, maybe I can arrange something for you." he said still grinning at the idea and shook his head, "anyways, duty calls, enjoy your luncheon." he then bowed to his princess and waved to everyone else and took his leave.

Isaac continued to have that nervous look on his face as he watched Amoya leave and chewed on the corner of his lip before he straighten his expression and stood up. "Forgive me boys, but I have some other matters to attend too, I apologize for the silence I just have a lot on my mind and not much to say." he said and took a short bow and nodded to sasha as she walked over to him. "yes dear?" he said looking down at her.

ooc:
sorry for my silence everyone, but I'm pulling out of the rp for the moment :) I'll be back soon enough

Isaac was honestly okay with casual joking at his expense as long as it didn't cross a line. There was a smile on his face as Darvesch took a seat, though it quickly faded when Jaro piped up and continued to poke fun at him for what his sister did.

"Come now Corvinus, Don't get me in trouble with her cousin, my heart is aching enough as it is." He said, being a little over dramatic about it. "my darling little sister is sooo kind to me to help me out like that." To Isaac, this later would be something everyone could laugh at, hell it was already.

Jaro said wrote:
I was thinking of taking him to Victor's later and getting him a room with a couple of strippers and a case of rum. What do you think, gnomes or fauns?

Isaac was glad he wasn't drinking anything or he probably would have choked on it. He cleared his throat and quirked an eyebrow at Jaro, "Not everyone is into the same things you are Corvinus." he said with a grin, nodding towards Darvesch. "No offense, pretty much how it is really..."

Isaac snorted as he tried to hold back a laugh at Jaro's comments. "Trust me, it was all in good fun, I wouldn't go farther than teasing." He said and shook his head, besides, she was the princesses retainer, the thought of getting mixed up into that with being more than just friends didn't sit well with him.

"The wings? Well she's not dragon born, don't worry about that though, I think it's a bloodline thing." He said not sure if he should just come out and say she was a succubus and giving a quick nod to Luca as he passed by. Everyone was already being snippy with each other, no need to make matters worse. Amhranai and Lureene really needed to learn how to deal with nobles better...

Bluff:

"Maybe, but as they say, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, you know?"

When Jaro mentioned Lureene, Isaac couldn't help but snicker a bit, "Oh, obviously your talking about Lureene. Speaking from experience, she's made me blush once or twice, its probably why my sister disapproves of her." He said, all too amused by this conversation, he really needed to hang out with this man more often.

Isaac rolled his eyes at the thought, a little exasperated at the idea of his sister trying to hook him up with someone like that, but was pretty sure Lily wouldn't do that to him... he hoped.

He quirked an eyebrow as Poe and Elendreth walked up to the princess, "I don't think the boy is mentally capable of embarrassing himself, he's probably going to embarrass his aunt more than anything." He said grinning a bit.

Isaac shook his head when Jaro snapped his fingers at him. This wasn't the first time Isaac found himself talking to well... himself. "Well, that save's me the trouble of finding you, now doesn't it." He said giving Jaro a half smile, not really sure how to explain the talking to himself bit. (because his player is a derp.)

Isaac sat back down and chuckled at Jaro's attempt to lighten the situation. "But you get to miss the fun of being embarrassed by a younger sibling who honestly has your best intentions in mind." He said putting a hand into sandy blond hair. "Now everyone thinks I'm trying to woo the princess, fantastic."Isaac wasn't even trying to hide his sarcasm at how truly annoyed with his life he was.

Isaac watched this whole scene unfold between his sister and the princess, while his sister wasn't fooling her, she seemed to convince most everyone that he really had given that to Alis. He put a hand up to his forehead as he leaned into the table, trying not to get stared at for being so 'bold'. For the love of the gods Lily... He thought to himself and quirked an eyebrow up at Lureene when she seemed completely lost by the entire thing.

"I didn't actually give that to Alis... I told my sister not to give that to her... the crap I deal with on a daily..." He whispered to Lureene deciding that he was just going to sound like a jerk if he kept this up and got up. "I'm going to find Corvinus and see if he's still up for that drink." Isaac said walking away from the table to find Jaro. He'd rather stand in the back of the entire room at this point to avoid getting stared at.

Isaac did his best NOT to roll his eyes at everyone. People were nervous and fumbling up so instead of Lureene and his sister having a cat fight in the middle of this, he decided to step up and clear his throat.

"Your highness, please allow me to introduce all of your guest this afternoon." He said, his voice loud enough so everyone could hear him, but not in an unpleasant way. He mostly wanted the woman who were ready to start a fight to pay attention to him and stop their bickering.

With a smile on his face, he tried to take Alis' attention away from the girls and motioned towards the guests as he introduced them all to her.

Diplomacy:
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16
Alis' bit of luck 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21

Isaac was highly amused, he always enjoyed when others played along with him, it kept things from being too stuffy. "Only to the best."He said and gave her a playful wink.

Though while the two of them were having fun with their game, her assistant didn't seem so amused. He desperately tried to straighten his face, and be more serious, but it wasn't going to happen. "Of course, your highness." He whispered back.

Giving the the pale-blond agent a grin, he agreed with Alis and started to lead her inside, "Sounds like a good plan, she probably needs some assistance if I know your guests, and I know a few of them."

Isaac was relieved that Alis was finally there. A smile on his face as he walked up to her and she held her hand out. "Nervous isn't quiet the word I'd use My Lady, relieved and glad you finally made it is more like it." he said taking her hand to help her down to his stand on his right side and gave her one of his charming smiles. He was glad that she wasn't like the rest of the nobles that showed up, and she had to be the first noble that he actually enjoyed being around for an extended period of time.

"May I escort you inside, Princess? And yes, the rest of your guests have arrived in a timely manner."

Isaac was glad that Jaro backed down and apologized in his own way. If there was one thing that was always hard for Isaac, and many other half-elven children, it was the fact they were half-breeds.

Isaac shook his head and waved Jaro off, "It's alright, just be sure to watch how you word your venting next time." he said, smiling at him to show there was no hard feelings. "The king can't be everywhere at once, and I personally think the Princess is a lovely person, she'll be fine and hopefully things will start to calm down here."

"Be buried in paperwork, or forced to nod your head and smile to noble small talk? paperwork seems less of a chore." It was a joke, there were so many other things that he could think of to be doing at the moment. "Definitely in the same boat today." He said, really wishing he could be home right now.

"Alright, you two can head inside, it'll be nicer in there than out here for sure. I have to wait for the princess to finally show up, then I'll be inside." He said motioning to Jaro to follow the old man who had taken the initiative to head on inside.

Isaac nodded to Luca, a smile on his face, "Brave and head strong, not sure who she's related too anymore." he said, obviously joking around, "Don't worry, I won't...."

"That's what I believe, no news is good news for now." He said, though once it got too that 'couple month' mark, he'd start to panic if he didn't hear word from his father. He straightened his shoulders, obviously losing the relaxed demeanor he had on previously as Jaro jumped in with his rude, disrespectful and racist remark that not only offended his princess (who he thought as a friend, but wasn't sure if the feeling was mutual quiet yet), but himself. Jaro had managed to cross the line.

"Corvinus, I'm disappointed with you, I never thought you to be a racist... Maybe you should just go home and cool off since you're having such a bad time here already." He said, quirking an eyebrow at him, wondering if Jaro was going to challenge him right then and there and probably get made to look more like a bigot than he was already being.

Diplomacy:
Diplomacy = 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32

Hearing the loud voice of Jaro Corvinus, he turned his attention to the conversation in case he had to add his two cents. Though as they came up to him Jaro pulled him in to the conversation with the passive aggressive jab at him not feeling how hot it was.

Isaac quirked an eyebrow at him, and shrugged, "Oh, I feel it Corvinus, its just a nice day out." He said smirking a bit. He felt like it was a game to be passive aggressive with him, but today wasn't a day to really throw witty comments back at Jaro.

"Eh, you know how nobles are, fashionably late and all that. She's also pretty young, seems the government needs some fresh blood around here." He said keeping his cool. Not many people could get under his skin, and Jaro wasn't one of them.

He gave Luca a slight nod to welcome him, and a smile. "Thank you, she is dearly missed by all three of us... Lilyana is.." He thought back to his sister trying to set him up with the princess and shook his head "She's a tough cookie, she's just fine." He added, a nervous chuckle in his voice as he wondered what she was up too at the moment.

"I haven't heard word of my father yet, but what's going on with Gaeros? Something I should know about?"

Isaac watched as the next carriage came up. He walked forward, trying to keep the friendly smile on his face but was finding himself growing tired of greeting all of Alis' guests considering most of them were full of themselves. Isaac grinned when he was called the man of the hour and dismissed it. "No, no, I'm just here welcoming guests. Not terribly important tonight."

Turning his attention towards the carriage, he walked over to help his wife down, and before she even came to the door he got a weird feeling about the way worded that. His help was dismissed and the dark haired half-elven woman quickly tried to hide her face from him.

He was honestly speechless, he didn't once believe for a second that she fell down at any time, and the man who was with her was hitting her. He wanted to stop her, tell her that he'd help, but she was quick to run to her husband. well son of a... what the hell do I do?

"As you wish ma'am..."He said letting her slid past him.

Giving the man a small frown, he nodded to the both of them, obviously very strained to say this, "Have a good time..." He said watching them walk away.

askjdhfkjahsked Ahhhhh why elf!! meh, Isaac wants to knock this guys teeth out, but that'd be in bad taste >__>

With an awkward smile, Isaac wasn't completely sure how to answer Angrem, it was obvious that no one else picked up on it. So with a shrug of his wide shoulders, he decided he would leave it at that unless prodded for more.

He stood by, watching the nobles talk about things that Isaac didn't really care for. He always wanted adventure, reaching new heights... But he had responsibilities now, and couldn't just wander off into the world like he wanted to. Though a familiar voice brought him out of his day dream of wild places and he glanced down at her.

A golden eyebrow quirked high for him as he watched his sisters face, he knew that look, he knew that look all too well. With a sigh and an arm placed around his sisters shoulder and gave her a wary smile. "Come on, Lily... you know the princess is too good for someone like me. But, a gift for saving our skins is in order." He told her and nodded to the group of nobles and winked at Amhranai as a gesture of good luck.

He decided he'd walk his sister inside, she could have fun sitting around listening to round noble men talk about how much money they had, Isaac was going to enjoy his space outside, which he was finding himself in more need of lately. "Now, I know what your thinking, and I want you to know, that I appreciate you looking out for my love life, but there's a reason why I don't have a lovely lady on my arm and it's because I've been kind of swamped with being the Marshal of the city."

Though Lily knew this excuse well by now, Isaac was distant from people in general since their mother died and buried himself in work to distract himself from it. Lily knew the things Isaac wanted to do, to travel and see more of the world, he was currently stuck at home because he took responsibility like he was the only one doing anything, and without him the world would crash and burn.

Isaac only realized his error after she held up her hand to show that she didn't have a ring on her finger and instead of becoming flustered over it, he decided to roll with it.

"Forgive me, Baroness, I meant no disrespect, just that you are lovely and any man would be lucky to have you on his arm." He said, smiling handsomely at her.

He gave Amhranai a nod, a little disappointed that she didn't pick up on the hint, but it didn't bother him. "Yes, I'll lead the way." He told them and patted the guard who had walked with him on the shoulder, letting him know he was able to go back to his duties whilst he took care of the two ladies.

Isaac smiled more when she said she'd try to keep in mind to dress up next time and nodded his head "Fair enough." He then turned to look at the baroness and gave her another bow, "Pleasure to meet you my lady Carlina." he said, charming as ever.

Glancing at Amhranai, than to the baroness, he quirked an eyebrow at the question and cleared his throat. "I've been fine, thank you for your concern though. Maybe you can come check up on me when there isn't a party going on."

Sense motive DC 26:
Isaac's smile fades for a moment when Amhranai brings up strange dreams, as if no one has ever asked him if he had been sleeping well before. He seems to shift for a moment, almost as if he doesn't really want to talk about it and is trying to not trouble anyone with anything that might be wrong. Maybe in a more private setting he'd be more honest with his answer.

It was good to hear everything was staying in order and relatively calm for the most part as the headed down to check out the elven woman in question.

"Gee Amhranai, think you could have dressed up a bit more?" He asked her teasing slightly, glad to see it was the woman who had basically saved his life.

Though he put a hand up to his ear when he heard that his sister had left without a body guard and frowned, "Someone needs to keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn't get hurt, please and thank you." He informed his guard, after the events from a couple days ago, he didn't want anyone going after his sister again.

"Come on in Ladies." he said giving them a small bow.

Isaac was standing at his post outside of the manor that Alis was holding her lunch in at. Part of him wanted to be inside with his newly found friends, but out here, he could relax more and not have to try too hard to impress everyone. He just judged who came in and checked papers, and he was to handle things if stuff went down.

Though when one of his men who was checking security came up to ask him about a certain elf who was calling herself Amhranai. He quirked an eyebrow at him. "She didn't bother to dress up? Shame on her. I'll come down and see, but I'm pretty sure she was one of my teammates when we took down the big O, I'll know if I see her." He told the guard, and nodded to the guy who was standing on the other side of the door with him, he had been chatting with him, making sure he was still doing his job, they couldn't afford to have anything awful like last month happen again. Isaac put a hand up to his neck when he brought up Obi. It was still wrapped up and sometimes it still hurt.

Isaac quirked an eyebrow at Darvesch's idea, and both of them rose up when he actually related it back to something that had happened to them. "Huh? Really? You guys can't be serious about that right?" It was hard to be sad or serious when that was put out as an option.

Isaac watched as Tyralor fell from the sky and wasted no time rushing to the side of his comrades. Once he finally caught up with Darvesch he knelt down next to the lot of them.

He was horrified by the fact that the prince had given up so much for them and felt it was almost unfair, to lose even more people over a seemingly pointless war.

Taking a moment, trying to tune out the sadness that was around him, he tried to concentrate on what might have plagued their good prince.

Isaac tried to keep his face calm and serious, he was in solider mode and couldn't let his emotions cloud his judgement. "My lady... it seems our good Prince might be cursed... He still lives but I'm unsure for how long or what it'll take to wake him..." He looked to their priestess with a hopeful look in his pain filled eyes, hoping she would have answers for them. Isaac just hoped that his calmness about the situation would rub off on his teammates and not come off as heartless.

Isaac frowned a bit at the way this conversation was going, also wondering why they haven't fallen victim to the poison in the air, then he noticed the necklace with his mask, tapping Alis lightly on the shoulder, he causally tapped his neck where the necklace would fall on him and then looked away around, feeling as if they should be moving on and getting rid of this mist before their air ran out.

Isaac nodded, hoping his memory served them well, and hopefully they could get away from this mist soon, it would suck if their air bubbles wore off while they were still in it... hostage scenario, here we come...

"the two of you need to understand the importance in Alis' statement, its best we figure out whats going on, because while its awful students are in trouble... We're kind of needed to run the city and us becoming hostages as well... is not the best plan in the world, yeah?" He said putting his hand up to his chin and frowned as he tried to consider what would be affecting these creatures and why they weren't affected by it.

"Alis and myself are Elven blooded... and we're not bothered by this... I think there is a lot going on that I don't know about and it kind of pisses me off." He admitted even though he seemed to be keeping a leveled head this whole time.

Isaac can't help put let out a sigh and rub his temples, its obvious he's not annoyed with Lureene though since he doesn't give her any mean hearted looks. "If there were magical wards, I'd like to think I would know about them, but till recently, I'm not so sure what I can and can't believe anymore..." he admits to what's stressing him out, and without actually saying it, its obvious that he's not really happy with all this misinformation he had been given.

"I'm not sure if his Witch is powerful enough to cast such a spell like this... though my money is leaning more towards some kind of creature that might have made this part of the citadel its home since... well you know, no one really comes down here."

Isaac gave Amhranai one more glance before he, Alis and El stepped to the side to talk about what was going on.

"There's some magic afoot here... While this spell normally should last for a couple moments due to is weak magnitude, it seems to have some kind of permanency on it, and from what I can tell, it's range is as far as my detect magic can see. I'm not too terribly sure what the spell is, but I do know that it fills an affected person with Lethargy, boredom and apathy..." he explained to her and glanced around once more, not sure what he was actually looking for, but he was a little on edge because of this.

"I believe this is this madman's doing.. and I'm under the impression that he used this entrance to get into the building."

Taking a deep breath, Isaac glanced at Lureene who seemed to have the same idea that he did about what was going on when their eyes met for a moment. The Marshal turned his attention to Alis and cleared his throat so she could hear him and catch her attention.

"Excuse me, my Lady..." He said to her quietly, and continued, "May I have a word with you?"

Taking notice to the strange behavior of the new comer, Isaac can't help but work his jaw, also having close to the same thoughts as Alis with out realizing it. With a simple at will command, Isaac triggers the detect magic effect of his mask and decides to hang back with his princess and Lureene.

He had been back-stabbed enough, and he already wasn't very fond of this new elf with her harsh criticism to begin with, he wasn't going to let her out of his sight if he had anything to say about it.

Isaac, of course, was very comfortable in the water, though seeing that Lureene wasn't, was a little strange since most people who lived in the Port could swim.

Watching her struggle in the water, as sadly amusing as it was, he wasn't going to let her get swept away. He reached out to take hold of her and help her along the way.

Isaac, who had stayed quiet to listen to the rest of them, couldn't help but notice the glance that Alis had given him, and was curious as to why she looked towards him as if expecting him to lose his temper and go off.

Turning his attention towards his other lovely blond companion, he cleared his throat some to catch her attention, which wasn't too terribly difficult, he was sure. "I believe being on your guard will be best advised, he's trying to make a statement and obviously doesn't want to be bothered, if he's the head of this organization, he's going to have guards set up through out the building. It would be stupid on his part if he didn't and he obviously has a bit of intelligence if he was able to get to where he was now." He explained to her.

"I'm ready, my lady." he said nodding his head towards the rest of the group.

Isaac couldn't help but hear the icy tinge in Lureene's voice and wondered if she was upset that Amhranai was blaming him for this supposed slavery that is going around. For all he knew, this O'Beilumanji was fed the wrong information as he was. But of course the chances of that were pretty low at this point.

Turning his gaze back to Amhranai, he frowned at her slightly and nodded, "Of course... I want what's best for the citizens of Port Eldarion..." He told her, his tone leveled as he quirked an eyebrow at her, not too surprised that she was quick to take control of the situation and wondered how many times they were going to butt heads during this escapade of theirs.

Finally Isaac's own invisibility wear's off at this point, his strong arms crossed over his chest as he slowly comes into view, staring at the elvish woman who just outwardly disagreed with the things he had been working very hard for.

Stern, but tired green eyes stare down the small elvish woman, he's a tall, broad shouldered man with tan skin, from spending so much time working in the sun, with naturally light blonde hair that was short on one side, and long on the other where it hung over his shoulder, his hair would almost seem out of place if it weren't for the simple fact that he himself had some elf in his bones.

"I see that you already know who I am, Major Isaac Hlokenar, or Marshal as Lady Alis likes to call me... I would like you to know that I try to do as much as I psychically can for my home. Though it would seem that people who I thought were loyal to me haven't been telling me the entire truth, and I am honestly a little miffed about that." He said, sounding a little miffed, but obviously keeping a cool head on his shoulders.

Just from their simple greeting, Isaac figures this Amhranai is a confrontational person by nature and as long as no toes are truly stepped on, he wasn't going to take many of her words to heart.

"It would seem a deranged murderer has taken a strong footing in the citadel and we need to take him down... Mercy for his crimes weren't even on the table." He explained to her, quirking a dark eyebrow at her.

Taking a deep breath, Isaac knew he had to keep a leveled head about what was going on and turned his attention on the princess once more.

"My Lady, this is what I know See spoiler." He explained to them, a slightly displeased look on his face. The scene that had taken place not moments ago had been horrific and he hated to see innocent people get hurt.

Isaac is relieved to see that Lily had taken his words to consideration, and heart. He hated being like that with her, it was his least favorite thing to do, but he wouldn't be scolded like a five year old in front of his peers just as much as she didn't.

Reaching out before his sister ran off, he knew she was upset and had to right it before he lost sleep over it. Taking her gently by the arm he gave her a gentle look that was vastly different from the one he had given her mere seconds ago, "We'll talk tomorrow morning... I love you, Lily... sleep well." he said softly to her, his tone apologizing for his scolding.

Letting her go, he took another deep breath and nodded to Tyralor, "Yes... I believe a quick meeting would be preferable."

Isaac was enjoying himself for the time being before he had to go back to working constantly. It was nice to be in the presence of beautiful women who were flirty with him and talking to him like an equal. It was different and very nice for a change.

Though of course his fiery sister who had a stick shoved where it shouldn't be came bursting into the room, yelling at him, but her wicked gaze was trained on the red head and the blond he was chatting with.

for the love of the gods, what has gotten into her? He wondered as he gave his sister a look of disbelief as he turned his attention on her, honestly speechless by her sudden out burst of rage.

"For one, Lilyana, I expect my little sister, and the daughter of General HLokenar to show far more self control than this." He said, raising his tone with her and keeping it firm, showing his disappointment with her out bursts, he figured he had let it slide for too long and needed to put his foot down.

"Secondly, we have just been rescued, I believe the prince and the princess were giving us a chance to rest and relax before we jumped back into business. So please, show a little more respect to your elder brother and your saviors, because I for one am sick of your little attitude. So adjust it to suit the daughter of a general." His tone now showing the authoritative side that he had been keeping at bay so he could enjoy himself for the evening.

With that said and done, he shook his head and turned his attention towards the prince and the princess, hearing that she was ready to be debriefed on what was going on, he pushed himself out of his chair and stood up, giving them a slight bow. "Of course, could we step outside to talk?" He asked as he raised his eyebrows too them, waiting for permission or another suggestion as to where to talk about such things.

Isaac waved the good captain off, he really didn't need to sleep much, in fact, he only needed two hours. "Thank you sir, a cot will be just fine." He said respectfully, though his attention turned to the fiery red head.

Before he could even open his mouth to reply to her, the icy chill that ran down his spine shut him up pretty quickly. Glancing down at his sister who had just come up to him and socked him in the kidneys, he couldn't help but put on a smile.

He knew her distaste and why she was being like that, he would have to have a chat with her tonight, "Apparently, I have other plans for the evening, if you ladies get lonely, I'm sure you'll know where to find me." He said boldly, and politely, putting his hand on the back of his sisters neck gently and gave her a light tug towards him, as if trying to contain the ice-like aura she was putting off.
