| Horshack Pilgrim, Kotterhause5 |
In the series finale, the Taylors' beloved neighbor and dispenser of wisdom finally reveals his face... a volleyball with Kip Wilson's handprint on it.
Meanwhile, meanwhere, Kip's friend Henry Desmond, awakens behind the wheel of a car stuck in a roadside snowbank. When he discovers the body of local yuppie Michael Harris impaled upon the automobile's grill, he hides in the basement of nearby Vermont inn and disguises himself as a blonde woman, "Hildegard", to evade law enforcement. Unfortunately, he startles the inn's man, who accidentally concusses Hildy with a shovel. The amnesiac adopts the identity of "Stephanie" and takes a job as the inn's effervescent housekeeper. She experiences a number of comedic misadventures while dodging the attentions of the local woodsman who remains convinced Miss Stephanie is an artificial humanoid (and also that he is the true proprietor of the inn).
After eight years, Henry eventually recovers his memories, but discovers she now considers Stephanie as her true self. Unfortunately, this breaks The Fourth Wall of the Snowglobe, allowing the Langoliers to enter and nibble lightly on the all the human inhabitants of this Earth, known as colloquially as Tommy Westphall-90.
