Elon, just a quick question, by your own dice do you mean weighted ones? If so are you using it? re roll dice again but only roll 3 and pick what the other 2 dice are coming out as, before you roll. I.E. Do two posts first one saying what your weighted dice will land on. Post it, then in a separate post roll 3 dice. I will take your roll above as, 'they all fell off the table roll again.'

Elon Shabin |

Posted before hand that my dice will roll a 3 and a 6. Will roll the others now
Using the cover of the table, Elon swaps out the dice quickly, and hopes that this time around, the dice will work better in his favour.

When he notices the 2 pair, he smiles. Lady Luck had fallen in love with him again.

"That is two questions. You can find them by looking." He laughs to himself at his poor joke. "Well now, Overly toothy? going to need more information to answer that question. What rumours? who started the rumour's? There are a lot of men in this village and the neighboring villages. Without more information I cant possibly guess."

Elon Shabin |

No worries, I will find out more information and come back to you on that one then. In any case, I appear to have lost my friend, might I be able to postpone this till later on tonight so that I might extricate him from the skirts of whatever wench he might have found?
With that, and assuming they give him his leave, he will head after Carth.

Little Finder |

"Well if you want to know who the toothy guy is you should stay. This game ends when you leave. If you go there is no coming back." Barry face turns stern as he speaks as does Kevin's.

Elon Shabin |

You are right. My apologies. These are strange times, and as silly as it sounds I find myself to appreciate the company of those that I can trust. Lets face it, when the old mill burnt down in such a strange set of circumstances, and the world feels tense around you, it is bound to put a man on edge. Rumours were that there is more to Paul than first meets the eye, although exactly who started the rumours I cannot tell you specifically. It was talk i heard in the market the other day.
Where were we with the game then? Roll once more?

"Hmm So people think Paul has a toothy smile. Well I guess there is no smoke without fire. Though I have not noticed it myself. Nor has Kevin here." He looks at the dice. "Three of a kind. Good roll but not quite good enough."

"Now my turn. If it is Paul with the toothy grin what do you intend on doing about it."

That very much depends on what happens when we apprehend the toothy man. We know for a fact that there is a monster out there in the forests, and we think it might have something to do with the burning of the mill, and with Paul therefore. Its hard to explain a gut feeling.

Little Finder |

"A monster in the forrest? What!" They get up to leave, not even waiting for an answer before they react.

Elon Shabin |

Come on now Gentlemen. Surely if you leave now then the game is over? If I really thought there was a danger to this place or to your families, do you think I would be sitting here so casually searching for information with the locals rather than searching out the beast myself so that it can be slain? It hasn't posed a threat to anyone as of yet, having just burnt down an old building that you have all said was useless to the town anyway, so why the rush?
Elon will stand up as they do, hand tightly gripping the staff. That there was suddenly tension in the air was without a doubt a most interesting development.

Little Finder |

"You are right Though I do not like the idea of something like that hanging round. Kevin you go, I will keep playing with these guys."

Elon Shabin |

My question is simple, as far as anything is simple on a day such as today. If Paul was here during the day, getting things ready for the bar opening and such like, then fair enough. What I would like to know, is who has a less than steller past in this town? Who are the shady operators basically?

Little Finder |

Barry looks confused as to where the Paul comment came from and decides to ignore it. "Lots of people. IT seems to me you all do not know what you know. Hows about you go do some investigating and then figure out what to ask people. I love a good dice game as much as the next guy but you guys seem lost. All you seem to know is some one thinks Paul has a toothy smile. He gets the bar ready during the day, what ever that means and there is a big creature running around. Perhaps you need to start talking t each other before you talk to other people." he stands up and walks out.

Elon Shabin |

Stunned with how that whole game turned out, Elon will head to the temple, hoping to meet with the others from the party. His mind trying to work out who on earth it might be that stole the orb and took it to the mill, why they burnt it, where the elf comes into it all and what to do with the knowledge that Argius was evil as anything. Oh, and why on earth did sybil want his blood? That was a puzzle in and of itself.

Elon Shabin |

As Elon passes through to the market square, he notices Sybil, and makes a note to return the diary pages to her later, he had what he thought he needed from it. In any case, a talk with Graves was in order, and there was something about how Paul had disappeared so quickly that bothered him. Perhaps it would be an idea to talk to the woman they had saved from the mill, she might know something.
More and more Elon was becoming frustrated with how little they knew, and how much seemed to be going on around them that they needed to deal with, but had no idea how to do so. Perhaps going back to the orb would help. Some more of his life force could be used possibly to learn more. Or even failing that, he might go to the temple, find a quiet spot and pray for a while.
Standing just inside the temple, he pauses to make up his mind.
Save the woman, save the world?
Save the orbs, save the world?
Save the prophet, save the world?
Stop talking in riddles and get on with it already?
He goes to speak to Graves, hoping that he might be able to get an audience.

Carth Mirran |

"I doubt your willing to attempt to kill someone inside a temple," Carth begins, "And I doubt you could kill me if you wanted to anyway. As for what I want to know, I am curious as to what you are doing here. When you left the bar, you said it was to sort out the bar for tonight, now you're saying that you left for other business. Makes a person think you have something to hide, especially when you tried to sneak out the back to get away from us."

Krallek Meatshield |

Krallek, confused as ever decides to head over to the temple to meet up with the others. I hate investigating! Feel about as out of place as a onions on top of chocolate ice cream he thinks to himself as he trudges along through the market towards the temple.

Paul Leggie |

"I shall take it you do not. Well we shall see. They are about to come through the door of the temple. You can wait for them or follow me."
He turns his back to you and walks through the door. Laughing quietly as he does.
Everyone else can show up through the temple doors once Carth has made his choice.

Carth Mirran |

Carth paused for a moment. While waiting for the others was probably the wisest cause of action, Paul was clearly up to something suspicious and probably nothing good.
In the end, Carth quietly walks over to the other door and tries to tell where Paul has gone, leaving the other door leading back to the hall open.

Little Finder |

I hope you meant Peeking, Unless I missed something lol
Carth, as you look out of the doorway you see, two stairways, one heading down and one heading upwards. Another door across the hall and the corridor bends around a corner opposite. You see Paul heading down the corridor.
As Elon, Krallek and others enter the temple you see the great hall. Some purple coats and people wonderign around. You see in the door that leads to the library meeting place. Carth is walking away from you and further into the room.

Carth Mirran |

Upon hearing someone, Carth quickly zips up, turns around and starts whistling innocently
Upon hearing Elon and Krallek, he quickly turns his head, puts a finger to his lips and makes a 'shush' noise. Then, quickly but very quietly he says,
"Following Paul. Didn't trust the fact that he left the bar quickly after we started questioning him. Stay here."
Carth then, quickly but quietly moves up to the corner to the corridor and peeks around the corner.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Little Finder |

As Carth and Elon (And possibley Krallek?) follow Paul round the corner you see him exit through what you guess is the back door.
You have no idea if he has heard and is aware that Elon is following.
You both notice that Paul does not seem to be in a rush.

Carth Mirran |

"Or, he knows we're following him and doesn't care," Carth said, attempting to hide the annoyance in his voice, "I think there were a few people in the market who heard you 'sneaking' down here."
Carth again moves forward stealthily again and slightly opens the door Paul went through and tries to see if he can see where he went.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
