I think the goal is for the focus to remain the same (go all-out on scouting to have as many people available as early as we can. I could be wrong though.

Krux, she's clearly a magus and one of the first defensive spells magi use is shield, which renders them immune to magic missile. Don't you want to use something a bit more powerful, like glitterdust or hideous laughter? I'm sorry if this comes out wrong, but we could actually benefit from everyone giving their best, seeing that one third of the group is already down.
