![]() Round 2 will begin Monday morning (ET) and finish Saturday morning. We are looking for 4-5 posts spread out across the 5 days. Character motivations will be sent via PM this time, and should remain secret. The setting is a pirate ship, but you can still bring any character--remember, it needs to be a different PC than you used in round 1. If your preferred character doesn't fit the setting, I will come up with some sort of explanation that makes sense; just play who you want and don't worry. As always, if you have any questions, please post them here. ![]()
![]() Before actually role-playing in Gameplay, role a d6 here in Discussion. This will determine your PC's goal during the RP. Success at the goal is not part of the selection process, this is just a creative prompt to get the ball rolling. 1. Get somebody to buy you a drink

![]() We are looking for 1-2 players to fill out an existing party (alchemist, oracle, wizard). The campaign has not started yet, we just lost the front liner during character creation. If you are interested, please ninja-dot the Gameplay thread with an existing character, preferably the one that you feel best shows your role-playing style and ability. In a few days, I will introduce a situation for everyone to RP. Myself and the existing players will run the NPCs. After one week, we will narrow the field of players and start a second RP. It will be a different situation, and you should bring a different character, but still an existing one that you like to role-play. Our goal is to see you role-play two different personalities, so please keep that in mind when choosing your PCs. And just in case our recruitment method hasn't already made it clear: this will be an RP heavy game. And please post any questions here in Recruitment. ![]()
![]() Looks like everyone has dotted. And it seems like the preference is to jump straight into APs, rather than test the waters with modules. That makes the next step seeing what everyone can/prefers to GM. Granta

![]() In a perfect world, we would have 5-6 GMs who each run a game for the other 4-5 to play in. Start times would be staggered a month or two apart, to give everyone time to finish up other games and avoid bandwidth overload. Games could be either version of Pathfinder, and probably modules to start. If it worked really well, we could try a second round with APs. ![]()
![]() GM Screen:
1d10 ⇒ 9
1d9 ⇒ 7 1d8 ⇒ 2 1d7 ⇒ 3 This thread will be used to pass and track the aid tokens. In order to pass a token, reply to the most recent post containing your token. Then delete the BB code for the quotation, and update the information. Next, notify the GM receiving your token by posting in their Discussion thread. Rules for the aid tokens can be found on page 5 of the scenario. And feel free to request a token or boost in this thread, if your table needs help.
NOTE: Please pass the tokens quickly, preferably within 48 hours of receiving them. And make sure to follow BOTH steps: notify the GM in their thread and notify the group in this thread. ![]()
![]() One of our players had to drop during character creation, and we are now looking for a replacement. Actual gameplay won't start until at least May, so you have not missed anything yet. This game will have slightly different expectations than the norm, though. In addition to the usual one in character post per weekday and weekend, there will be a lot of activity in the discussion thread. Part of our purpose in this campaign is to challenge each other and become better players/GMs. We will actively be practicing and revising posts, doing role-playing exercises, offering each other feedback, etc. So in addition to a desire to play War for the Crown, applicants should also be interested in an intense workshop experience. Also, we are looking for a fifth player, NOT a character. Character creation will occur after you are invited to the group. In order to apply, please link to specific posts made by characters of yours, that you feel offer good examples of your role-playing. For example:
Recruitment will tentatively stay open for two days, and then probably take another day or two for our group to discuss the candidates. ![]()

![]() I am thinking about running the upcoming Adventure Path: War for the Crown. Since it isn't even out yet, we most likely wouldn't start until March--and that is assuming Paizo releases it on time. ![]()

![]() This thread should only be used for the REQUESTING of aid tokens. The actual BOOSTING and PASSING of tokens is handled here, and QUESTIONS should be posted in Discussion along with all other questions about the scenario. The goal is that GMs currently holding tokens can instantly look at this thread and see if another table needs aid, and thus provide help as quickly as possible when it's needed. For example: GM Hmm wrote: One of my players just got poisoned, does anybody have a token boosted with neutralize poison? Dungeon Master S wrote: Request fulfilled!

![]() Please ninja-dot the gameplay thread by making a post and then deleting it. This will add the scenario to your My Campaigns tab without cluttering up the game. Then, fill in this form with your character info. If everybody is interested, we can start RPing right away and get to know each others' characters.
