Greetings everyone!
I will fill out the chronicle sheet info form shortly. May end up playing a game with this guy tonight (doubt it will happen but just in case) and want to have the correct info in case that happens. Already stealth-dotted the gameplay thread.

Ready to rock.
Just so everyone knows, this is a brand new character, so I don't have any healing items yet. Apologies.

I think I've got it all up to date.

Zyren is actually my first wizard in pathfinder, ad I only played one or two I can remember in 3.5... I am not a fan of prepared vancian casting... so I finally realized, thanks to the episode of Private Sanctuary where Perram guested and they discussed how to make wizards work, how to play wizards in a way that might be more fun for me.

One of the first wands I usually buy with them is a Wand of Magic Missile for 2 PA. It definitely can help you with contributing at the low levels, especially since basically nothing resists force damage apart from the occasional Shield spell.

The trick comes down to what I did, lots of scrolls, especially of rarely used utility spells, with decent duration at minimum caster level. At least that is what I took away from the podcast. It works better out of Society play where you can scribe your own scrolls so it costs half as much.
Attack spells on scrolls and wands are not as good when you go up levels but at least there is something there, and always there is the fall back to weapons. Though when the "dice" hate you... :P

Have a great time at your Con! Sorry I couldn't make it.

I will get better about responding each day, that long break really through off my rhythm for checking.
Yikes I really need to double check my spelling before I post...
threw off not through off...

You also need to get Oladon's Paizo Campaign Tools, so that you don't post with the wrong alias :-p
anybody got a link??

I'm out of town this weekend, likely won't be able to post until Sunday...feel free to bot me a necessary. Cheers!

Thanks. I will have to add it to all of my machines tonight. I already added it to my work computer and I think figured out the basics.

Thanks to Otha, my computer is working again, if not fixed. As long as that patch holds up for a couple of weeks, I should be back to normal posting on Monday.

Mechanically: Pavo can generate a lulliby, which he will need to play continuously (+1 round after stopping) in a 10 ft radius around himself. It generates a -5 Perception penalty and a -2 Will save vs. sleep effects.
His plan in short was to sing near the targeted area until the first person, identified by Pal's rapping on the counter, comes into the effect. Then someone in hiding or Pavo, who can't hide while singing, can cast sleep on him. Subdued--the easy or hard way--someone can tie him up and stuff him in the back.
Then we need to drive off the second person somehow.
Or he can just cast the lulliby for the Perception penalty.
And/or he can Bluff.

Ok. While Granta is out let's form up a plan so we can hit the ground running tomorrow.
I think we have 3 options.
1) Place the trick chair in the alcove and use it as an opportunity to create a commotion that we can use to intimidate the agents to leave the meeting
2) Use a spell to disrupt the meeting (many variations here)
3) Make the establishment appear to be closed. Either with or without Pal's permission.
If there are other options please list them. Then let's decide on which one we want to do (or a combo).
I think that option #2 (with the lullaby) has the most chance of success.

I say option 3, but let the first person enter. Then place the closed sign on the door, have someone outside hanging around, if they try to enter, do a bluff about why the place is closed and going in is a bad idea.
The first person hangs around thinking they have been stood up; while the 2nd one leaves based on the closure. If 2nd one hangs around outside and 1st person tries to leave, create a distraction to get them to exit through another door or stay put/be detained for awhile.
Then could use option #2 as back-up plan OR maybe even lullaby 1st person, while 2nd person is turned away outside. 1st person is drowsy and a little confused whether they were stood up or not.

I re-read the handouts, found something.
We could try #3 on the grounds that the city guard has closed it because of fake pearl trade? Zyrethian had a scroll of disguise, that might be of help.

FYI, I am incredibly busy this week. I will try to contribute the best I can but will for the most part be leaving macro decisions like this to the party. Have a huge deadline this week and I'm the project manager.
