Dotting in. And... information submitted.
Thanks for having me. I can't wait to get started! I'm still new to PFS, so have patience with me.
Thanks!

Whoops, forgot to post in Discussion. I completed the form and ninja-dotted Gameplay around Monday, though. Anyway, Sejiri is geared up and ready for action!

For casters, my method is (in order):
- Look at my first level spell list for possible wands
- Look at my second level spell list for possible scrolls (5 castings)
- Look at my third level spell list for possible potions
- Look at my third level spell list for possible scrolls (2 castings)
- Look at my fourth level spell list for possible scrolls (1 casting)
- Look at other spell lists for possible scrolls
Of course, there is an extra trick with bards, as your scrolls potentially cost more, if they aren't also on the cleric or wizard lists.

Weird this wasn't showing up with new posts. I also just had a nice intro post eaten by the paizo goblins a few minutes ago. I'll get a post up when I have time tonight.
I really hope they get the boards under control soon.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Ok info entered.
I purchased a wand of cure light wounds at the start, I didn't put that PP purchase in the info so it'll end up on this coming chronicle.
Gear purchased, well... nothing purchased really being a monk. At some point I'll need to look harder into what I need for mundanes.
*edit: ANTIVENOM FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

Thanks to Otha, my computer is working again, if not fixed. As long as that patch holds up for a couple of weeks, I should be back to normal posting on Monday.

You guys are reacting to Pal overhearing Sejiri's whisper and realizing that you are up to more than you seem. He is basically saying you cannot do what you want in his bar unless you convince him otherwise. How you convince him--or go ahead without his consent--is completely up to you. Any skill can potentially be used.
And please remember to roll Stealth checks when you don't want to be noticed or overheard. If you don't roll, then the NPC's Perception DC is up to my discretion, and the CRB lists a whispered conversation at DC 15, so that's the high end of what I'll grant you without a roll.
Also, I encouraged everyone to roll for a reason. This is not something that one PC can accomplish alone. Even though it makes sense for Zevryn's bribe to be good enough, the scenario says more is needed.

If you really want the bartender's permission, someone could threaten him with contacting the authorities over his fake pearls. Everbloom would, but she's not close enough to the bar right now.
I say you should just go ahead with the skunk. The bartender's gonna get angry after the skunk comes out anyway. It's not like we need to worry about upsetting him.
Another idea: Everbloom can make a distraction, telling the bartender she hears something through the walls behind him, and then whoever can summon the swarm can make it come out from behind there? It'll give Zev enough time to get a skunk spray off on blue.
Just some thoughts.

Well, I've offered him a bribe, so let's see ifbhe takes that before intimidation or law enforcement, at least that's my apointment.

Forvenniel takes out a semi precious stones, a pair of tweezers and a bit of bronze twine. Between drinks, she puts them together, weaving the twine around the blue stone until it looks like a small egg in a birds nest.
"Here, offer him this. It might go down well with his girl."
craft(jewellery): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 Assuming take ten is not allowed as this is a "tense" situation"

bahh, that should have been in gameplay. IThough if you take my first roll in gameplay (for spellcraft when I was not really understanding what is going on) that would keep the result at 22, but make it more relevant to the bribe.

Sorry for my absence, the last two nights I didn't get home until after I'd normally be sound asleep.
Re: the current attempt to sway Pal, your goal is to get his permission for your skunking plan. You may use any skill check that you want, just describe how it helps in a way that will make sense to me.
And remember, everybody should be trying something.

Hey guys, just letting you know I've had a family emergency come up, and unexpected house guests. I will be unable to post Saturday. Hopefully, I should be able to post late Sunday night and again late Monday night. I will be able to post regularly by Tuesday. Sorry for holding up the game, and feel free to bot me as needed.
Thank you for your patience.

Just clarifying since I know tone can be lost during online play. : I am not angry. lol
Everbloom thinks forcing people who don't want to leave someplace, to someplace else is stupid. Also, helping beggars is stupid. Also, the alchemist will totally know somethings up since we took away his customers. She also thinks this is stupid. AND we gave up the element of surprise. In general, she thinks this is a big, giant ball of stupid. Furless humanoids are so weird...

I guess it's open to interpretation. My view of it has usually been that one's deity sees fit to guide the paladin's weapon, or bless them with a surge of power. The latter seems more feelable, but I enjoy the former.

I typically let a paladin know if they have smited and it didn't work. It seems likely that a good person attacking something they believed was evil (and given said person has the ability to detect evil at will), would get some kind of feedback that their target was not what was expected.

Due to an incredibly busy weekend filled with a Christmas celebration, two birthday parties, and many hospital visits, I will be unable to post from December the 16th through till December the 18th. My posting should resume as normal on Tuesday the 19th. Apologies if this slows down the game. Feel free to bot me as needed.
Due to the fast pace of PFS scenarios, I'll try my best to sneak in a post if I can, but I can't make any promises.
Thanks for understanding, and have a great weekend, guys.
