Assuming Direct Control

After the undead are created the party starts hearing a mess of sound coming from farther within the cave. It is hard to make out what this sound is. It is simply a mess, there is no harmony whatsoever or semblance of form or organization. Like many beings all yelling something random at the same time. However, soon a harmony starts to form from the discord. Sounds start over lapping and almost clarity. Maybe you can start hearing words. It is Boggard words but words none the less. As you listen more you start hearing other languages and recognizable words, names actually. Names of important places from your past and people. Names that would only hold meaning to you. What names do your character's hear and in what language?

Soon who hear one voice over powers all other. It clearly cuts through the song but is somehow part of it. Giving mean to nothing. "Edward, Mordekai, Vyllaria. Fellow worshipers of the devils! COME! Your servants await. Zikomo-hears-the-Mother awaits his lords."

The remaining elves burn away the web and escape while the Ninth Knot finishes dealing with the Bogarts. A well timed counter attack from Vyllaria catches many of them of guard. Her swords are beautifully painted with their blood by the end. Mordekai kept cutting his way through the mass while Semirhage and Edward kept control of the battle field. With some understanding of tactics and a liberal application of violence the 20 Bogarts are slain. Their leader, or at least the one with the big shiny sword, was was the last one standing but the fool and really wanted to bring down Mordekai. Vyllaria's blade easily cut the stupid and distracted oversized frog down. His shiny weapon is only a masterwork great sword and none of the other Bogarts have anything of value on them.

Before the ninth knot can either move on or rest Tiadore teleports beside you. She look rather digested with the Bogarts corpses lying everywhere and lightly steps around them making sure not to stain her shoes with the lowly being's blood. "There has been a slight change of plans and this new order comes from Master Thorn.” She turns her attention away from the bodies of slain enemies and to Semirhage. ”Semirhage, there... one of the Master's contingence plans has stalled. The ones who are responsible for the failure are currently being rounded up but that does leave an opening for someone else more qualified to take the position. Someone who has the body and mind for it. You're... efforts are going to be redirected there. We leave now." She extends one of her hands. "As for the others, my Master has already sent aid. They should arrive shortly after we leave.” Gain the free feat: Minions!

Minions! Feat:
Since I am not allowing the leadership or vile leadership feat but I like the idea of the party gaining minions you are instead getting this feat for free. It acts like leadership but you only gain the minions. Even if your score is not high enough you still gain the option to have 1. If you don’t want them then you don’t have to take them. Up to your character. Your modifiers are currently, lvl +cha mod +2 ruthless.

Hermes gas grenade brings down the two that were hiding behind cover. The two security guards have no protection from the outside elements and they are stuck couching on the ground. Sara and Oz easily dispatch the two convulsing men and the lone one left. There are a ton of dead bodies lying around but none of them actually have anything valuable on them. A couple of extra power packs or carbines but no one cares. The outer air lock is indeed a Geosec Pattern VI like Hermes thought. Although it is a Focused Tech made so it should be a little easier to cut through due to the "money saving" measures. With Hermes understanding of the airlocks construction it should take him roughly 12 minutes to "unlock" the door.

The first man that Sara shot who was not smart and hiding behind cover takes a mini rail gun round to the chest. Dead! Her second shot goes straight into the chest high wall protecting the other man. Apparently his hiding was effective. Oz's pick-up-and-slam kills both targets and they turn to mess of torn flesh and broken bones on the landing pad. Since Oz has shown himself to be a powerful physic the two men try shooting him out of fear. The last guy that almost was shot by Sara tries to return the favour.

Oz takes a round to the chest but his armour stops to bolt from going to far. Take 12 damage Oz. Three men left and all behind cover.

Since both Brandon and Hermes decided not to move from the smoke they take a -10 to their attack rolls. The ones sealing the doors are the two in the back which also have cover. Since Brandon aimed that is negated but Hermes shot will take another -5. Also don't forget to add point blank shot into your attack and damage rolls.

Brandon's shot is clean and takes out one of the men. His aim was true and the shot goes exactly where Brandon wanted it to. The poor man's head explodes upwards in a shower of gore. Dead! Hermes's bolts slam into the door as it seals and do not hit their mark. The smoke around the ship's ramp dissipates. It will now only give a -5 penally to attacks.

The two guys that Sara and Oz attack both get hit by the attacks and both go down. Sara's took the shot to his shoulder and it was torn off. Dead! Oz took the disk blade to the face and even his own mother wouldn't recognize him anymore. Dead!

Seeing one crazy women come out of the smoke, 4 turn their rifles towards her. They all try to hit her but none find there mark. Shaky hands of under paid men. Once the monk also comes out of the smoke the only two who haven't fired yet turn and try to take him out. Neither of their attack hit. The now 8 sercuity guards are terrified that since they are actually fighting fully trained mercenaries. Usslay their job is about making sure that the lab techs don't get to drunk and start a fight. None of them was prepared for this. After seeing two of their friends die so easy two turn to run inside and meet up with the others. They start sealing the doors leaving those still stuck out side to die.

As the drop ship comes down, ports at the back of the ship just above the ramp open up. The ramp is completely covered in a thick smoke. Most of the Security personal open up and fire at the targets they know are coming down the ramp but the smoke is too thick. No prepared attack hits None of their shots hit anything.

Smoke last for two rounds. First round gives attacks rolls against targets passing through it a -10 (PC's and enemies too). Next turn it dissipates somewhat and only gives a -5 to attacks going through. Third round it is gone.

Your MC-24a light shuttle take some light fire from two auto turrets down on the loading pad. Your own laser cannon early blows them away. The red light in the crew room turns to amber. Sol's voice comes over loud and clear on your coms. "LZ is a bit hot. I am counting 10 security personal down there and sadly galactic law means I can't shoot them from up here. Beside I wouldn't want to take your fun away. We touch down in 10!"

The small troop transport darted through the atmosphere. Inside sits the strike team of the Nevok. The small ship rattles as it drops towards the planet’s surface but none of the team cared. They have all done this before and rough ride are nothing new. The small transport is being remotely flown by Sol Ramos back on the Nevok. The Nevok is safely chillin in orbit around the small moon. Their job is to make sure that no researcher or lab tech makes it off world in a small ship. This mission is a full sweep and clear. Land at the small search station down on the barren moon and clean it out. Nothing left alive is what Surob Company is paying them for. Two teams strike a the same time from the only two exits form the station and both work there way to the center underground “tower.” Once everything is dead, set a destress code to call for help. Then a Surob Company capital ship magically arrives in system and “finds” an empty station and claims the research by scavenging rights. A good plan, if a little simple but less to go wrong then. Once the Upper atmo is cleared and the ride smoothes out Oz stands up and turn on his holo projector. The Captain of the Nevok then gives her final briefing.

”Alright Strike team. This should be an easy op but also a very bloody one.” The former power lifter crosses her massive arms. ”Two teams, you guys and the Mar’s strike team enter the station at the same time. There are only two exits so each of you gets one. The doors will likely be locked but Lucien can open anything.” Her projected form disappears as an area map replaces her. There are two small structures each with docking pads connect to a large central underground “tower.” ”You guys enter the north one. Once inside cut your way through the outer blast door. This will likely take a while. Once inside to your right is a security room. Expect resistance but we were told that is was lightly guarded. However, I never trust intel so be ready for a fight. We brook the rules of this op slightly because Oz has smoke grenades if you need to create some cover. At the security room you will ended the lockdown that will defiantly be on and clear this upper area first. These above ground building is full of small apartments for the high ranking workers that don’t want to live underground. Also some nicer pen houses for the owners. There is a bar, dining room, pool, small mini mall... You get the picture. It all has to be cleared. Kill anyone and everyone. Once that is done comes the main lab. It is 20 stories of Focused Tech stupid engineering. So expect lots of stairs as you work your way through it. Bastards can't justify spending money for an evaluator and we are called the monsters. In this area you need to be careful not to destroy to much of the equipment or let the techs destroy it. Meet up with the Mar’s strike team, do your job, then head home. We both get paid and then we both get hammered at the nearest bar. Make your momma proud boy’s and Sara. Captain Var’rona out.”
The holo project stops. 1 more min of flight before they get to the station’s outer door and the fun start.

Here we go! We are not smugglers running away from our past, we are not good people falling on hard times, we are not petty criminals looking to make a quick buck. We are free lance mercenaries. We kill, we hunt and we are good at our jobs. Let the good time roll!

The Spector team stacks up on the door and the one closest to it opens it. It would have been a security door but it is now disabled. Inside the room looks like an art studio. There is paintings and large prices of stone all over the place. You notice some of the stone statues look like the one from the other room. That, however isn't the important part. The large Reaper tripod that is sprinting toward the party is. In the middle of the art room was a force cage labeled "model." The cage, of course, was turned off with the rest of the security.
Don't need a combat map for this one. Either you enter the room and fight it in there or back off and it fights in the hallway. Large thing is charging you, you have a turn before it gets to melee range.

The knocked out Biotics:

Since Awyr rolled so well I will just it to you both. I still have a massive cold and headache so I am lacking the creative drive to come with two different posts. Sorry Dredd to make your roll kinda meaningless.
The while much of the vision was indescribable what you can understand is breaking images and feelings. You see a Reaper being ripped apart. It was scattered in many tiny and complete pieces. Those broken shards speed off to the smaller ships waiting around it. You follow the shards not the ships and see them drive int the heart like machine that once stood before you.
Since Awyr rolled so well she can understand that there were 3 hearts in total on board this ship and one larger special one. There are 2 heart left to destroy. By destroying the heart the ships security is now failing, making your journey now easy.

Heart Scan:

The heart is in 15 large pieces. Kinda like stained glass. The pieces look stiff and not ver flexible. Each piece sparkles and looks like it is made with diamond dust. Looking closely you can see what looks like a nervous system running on the inside. It could be some kind of information transfer system at least. It broke along the cracks and looks like it could be put back tougher with glue. The heart was empty. No idea what was pumping the liquid in the tubes. There wasn't a pump inside. The liquid was pumping though. Much of the Reaper technology is known.

Kaboom!
The heart begins to crack from the Striker's round. It looks like cracks forming on ice or a window from stress. It starts small and then slowly gets larger and large. Over the course of the conversation the cracks cover the entire heart. Soon it cracks and glass shards fall slowly to the floor. Such a small sound as it shatters. Nothing happened for a brief moment before the shards begin to scream. A shockwave of sound and light roll over the party. Sounds hit like massive rain drops during a storm and each one sends your senses crazy. The whole experience last about as long as a flash grenade but hits so much harder.

Brutvus:
To you the experience was like a stun grenade. Loud, annoying, bright and ultimately pointless. You are fine after a couple of seconds. The rest of your party however was hit much harder. I am assuming that Brutvus doesn't have massive cyborg modifications.

Secretary:
While the actual effect of a stun grenade mean little to a synthetic there was something else in the waves of sound and light. Fragments of information and pure junk data with no use flood passed your firewalls and drown your systems. Your try to select and clear you mainframe but the data is coming in too fast even for your systems to clear. You are forced to reset from the back up. This takes a couple of seconds but not too long. Like 5 seconds tops. While you were cleaning your system you find something interesting. Some of the fragments from the shard scream were Geth. You systems keep these bits of Geth code during the restart. Roll an Use Computer check too see how well you can repair the fragments it you want to.

Dredd and Awyr
While it didn't effect Brutvus very much the shard scream hits you two the hardest. Both of you are knocked to the ground by crippling headaches. Your biotic amps burn in your skulls. Your mind feels like you are stuck on the edge of dreaming and awake. Your world spin as your minds tries to remember something. Something that was in the flood of light and sounds. Something that might be there. Something beneath all the pain. A vision of what the heart felt. Something that came in through your biotic implant. The pair of you are knocked out for around 10 seconds. Roll and Use Biotics check to see if you can make sense of the vision.

Secretary:

The large mechanical "heart" appears the serve the same function as an organic one. It is not purely mechanical and also not organic. It is somewhere in-between like most Reapers. It is pumping the same liquid that was traveling through the tubes earlier. It is connected to the "alter" and it is kinda floating over it. There are 4 clear tubes that are sending the liquid and then many other smaller cables that also appear to also be connected. Because you are trained in mechanics you can recognize some of these cables as power cables and others that send information. Fiver optics cables maybe? It is connected to the rest of the ship and it is possible that it serves as a heart/brain hybrid. Destroying it would effect the rest of the ship but what what extent is unknown. Maybe it serves the same function as a control panel? That is your best guess. There doesn't appear to be any way for you to input commands.

The fighting last a couple more rounds but the party kills everyone else in the room. The buffed up guys were harder to take down but nothing you couldn't handle. There still lies the pumping heart at the back of the room. It's rhythmic sounds are starting to drone in your head. It is starting to become a loud white noise.

The dark sphere explosion kills YC4 and YC5. YC7 is hit but stays standing. It is now primed. Brutvus's beam cuts YC0 in half. YC8 and YC9 are still standing but injured after the auto fire. Dredd's uppercut slams the cannibal's head into the roof and it falls back down dead.

The remaining Cannibals try to shoot at the party but all there attacks missed. YC8 and YC9 bend over and consume the bodies of their fallen brothers. New bone plates grow over their bodies.

Party take zero damage. GM's dice hate him or they love the PC's.

YC2 and YC6 are dead
Your teams brings down two more cannibals. YC7 gets on his hands and knees and opens his mouth. The body of his former comrade disappears as more bone plates grow on his skin. When one dies the living consume their body and gain their strength. YC7 is now buffed. The rest of the cannibals start moving towards the party now that the sphere is out of the way. 4 enter the door way and they start attacking Brutvus and Dredd.

Ayr takes 6 ranged damaged.
Secretary doesn't take any shots.
Brutvus takes two melee attacks dealing: 12 and 12
Dread takes two melee tacks dealing: 8 and 20

The mass of cannibals respond to the incoming attack. Yellow C4 and C5 are rocked by the hail of fire from Secretary. Their return fire was no where near your teams location. Yellow C3 and C2 charges the door. They both take damage from the sphere and are primed. YC3 take Dread's prepared attack in the chin and it is dropped. The rest of them start to swarm the door and their arms let bullets fly.
Dredd takes 3 shots: 13, 7, and 16 damage
Secretary takes 2 shots: 18, and 6 damage
Awyr takes 1 shot: 12 damage
Brutvus takes 3 shots: 12, 10, 15 damage
Sorry for the yellow and red colors on the bad guys and not just continuing the number system. Gm didn’t think to lower the font size. It will become smoother for future fights.

The team walk slowly up the the next room. The door to A5 opens easily and 20 cannibals are in the room. They are in to rows of 10 all facing away form the door. They appear to be in a slowly moving and none of them notice you. They are stuck with their knees to the ground and hands folding almost in a worship like state. In the back wall is a pipe and a large pump that looks like a heart. It is pumping the same liquid that was in the pipes outside of the room. The heart beats loudly and the all cannibal move to it's beat. Before the party enter the room Dredd sees a sentry in the back right corner. It looks like someone stabbed a husk with a camera in it's eye. It is half grown into the wall and is covered in what looks like coral. It is the same color as the wall and looks like every other weird art work that this room is full of. The Reapers or someone apparently spend the time to make this room look very gothic. Deformed figures carved out of stone try to claw their way out of the walls and other creepy art. The room looks both half finished and complete at the same time. Like this was the state that the creator wanted. The sentry groans and looks back and forth. Thanks to Dredd's heads up the party safely avoids being decide on the first pass.
The party is currently on either side of the door and the door is open. The sentry has not noticed you and none of the cannibal are reacting.

The pipes to the west are completely destroyed after Brutvus unloaded an entire clip of a Striker. What ever liquid was being pumped through the pipes is now all over the floor. If you are trained in Treat Injury you can identify what the liquid is but just from glances you don't want to. The area is now considered to be difficult terrain but it is now clear for you to advance. That was the loudest way you have possible open a path however.
Roll Perception please if you are going to advance that direction.

The Keeper tries to put out the fire and doesn't react to the scan. They appear similar to the Keeper scans of 10 years ago. Not much has changed. Nothing is unusual.

The hybrid unit is completely cut to pieces by Brutvus's attack. There are also large cut line on the wall behind it. The Keeper starts trying to clean it up. It gets a bucket and start picking up the pieces.

Secretary open the door and find what could only be called a laboratory There are husks, humans, cannibals, bavarians and all other aces in various states of decay and transformation into Reaper forces. At the centre of the room is a monster that hasn't been seen before. It looked this three batarians fused in to a "T" shape. It is suspended in the air by meat massive hooks and various wires. The monster is alive by the minimum amount required for the word. It is moving and maybe breathing. Underneath it is a computer with detailed research notes and a Keeper is near the back. These notes are written in Geth. Unknown how a spoken only language was written down. The alphabet seemed to be based off of Quarian and Geth base code.

This is ours... no, mine, my first personal log. Personal, me and me alone. I had individuality forced on me. It wasn't my choice but Shepard and Legion forced this on us all. They wonder why we... I left. Why the Heretics were reborn. The rest of the Geth have left my platform. I am alone, I am an individual, I am sovereign, I am angry. My name is now... we, I don't know. Welp, I like that word, I have failed. Took a couple of years and still the Cannibals are no smarter. Still there is a conflict between the batarian and human parts. I was hoping that if I could combine two batarians together them maybe they would work together. Instead both ended up hating each other. Organics are annoying to work with.

Three heads are not better then 2. I was hoping that the third would pick a side of the other two but instead it has chosen it's own option. The monster now beats it other heads like some kind of primitive animal. The sound might work as a scary tactic this thing has very little use. Harbinger want a new unit but I have nothing.

Finally! I have successfully added a Geth to the mixture. The hybrid now has direction. A single Geth program provided the guiding sub-conscience. A way on unifying the three minds. This also gave is a form of biotics. I didn't see that one coming. A happy accident. Now we have a command monster between the Maurder and the Banshee. Our stocks of Banshees is getting rather low. They are proving to be annoying to clone. It's biotic power are rather weak though. I will ned to increase the power.

I think I spelled something wrong in my last log. I don't care. I wonder if that means I am going crazy. The Keepers that Harbinger provided to me are proving to be very useful and are spending up my research. Their biotic powers are increasing rapidly.

Synthesis! That is the point. Machines are improved by organics and organic are improved by machines. I should fuse this platform or myself. Yes, myself. This is all me, all mine, with and organic. I have little use for this ship anymore. Spend it on missions or something. I need to go to the cloning farms. My new creations need to be mass produced.

The strike teams brings down the last husks before they had a chance to attack again. Out of combat time. Now that you can actually look around you see that the lay out wasn't what the map said it was. The route north is blocked off but there is a whole in the wall. You could try to squeeze thorough one at a time. The route to the west has large tubes going from top to bottom. They are large enough gabs to get through but could can't see past the first couple to know what is on the other side. The door to Room labeled A6 on your map is closed but you don't know if it is locked. Time to choose which way you go.

Brutvus destroyed the remaining Husks that were trying to attack him. Husks Pack at L16 = KIA Secretary's attack kills 2 and injuries an 3rd in the Northern pack but the attack on the southern misses. Husk pack at N13 injured, P13 untouched until... Ayr's lash send one husks from the souther pack straight into the wall. It's spine is scattered into a million pieces and the blood pattern makes the shape of a apple of the wall. Husk pack at P13 injured. Dredd takes advantage of the Secretary's auto fire and finishes off the northern pack. Husks at N13 dead. Unfortunately he turned his back to the southern packs and they swarmed him form behind. They tore open his legs. Crit, Dredd's takes 44 damage and GM believes a re-design of this enemy is in order.

Awyr's shot hits home and the left Cannibal's falls. The right Cannibal remains standing after the starting incinerate but falls after the auto fire destroyed his inner organs. Both die. 3 husks fall in the pack of 5 from the Collector laser. The 2 remaining husks run forward at Brutvus. Husks double move to L16. The two other Husk packs charge and surround Dredd. Husks charge to N14 and P14. Some of their attacks get past Dredd's defences. Dredd takes 16 damage.

Secretary notices some contacts. Two Cannibals peel themselves off of large spikes on either side of the door. Three other Husk packs start coming down the hallway. Secretary spotted them before they say you. Party Moves first!

Before the attack:

Captain calls you all the the bridge to go over the mission plan. Now that the ship as set sail and is getting ready to enter combat the bridge is alive. Crew are running everywhere and lights are blinking. You all gather around the main projector to view the attack plan. "Now the Defiant is joining the 12th battle group. Their scout ship are currently leading the Glory to Dis to the ambush point. Once there, the scouts will disengage and the fight start for real. The 12th will batter down their ships and cripple the craft. Once it is close to going down then we go in. We will get the Strike teams inside the ship the good old way. Ayr you will be entering at the engine deck so you can stay at the same level. You should have the easy job of running to the engine room and disabling secondary control. We have given you a rough map of the area but that is from years ago so be prepared for it to change. We have no idea what is in the engine room so be ready for anything. 30 mins to impact people. Get to your stations."

The Attack Run:

As you guys make your way down the the boarding tubes the light begin to change colour. Red alert is called and the pilots are making their way to the ships. Final flight checks are done and everything is being stripped down. Crews on the flight deck are pulling up parts of the floors. These sections slowly become cover if the enemy comes back through the tube. Everyone is readying weapons and you enter in the bottom tube. It is a small space and each of you strap yourselves in. Boarding crews are checking their equipment when the announcement is heard. "Here come the scouts and the ship. All crews we start our attack run." The Captain's voice is heard through the ship and a cheer goes up as the sound of the main cannon echoes through the space. The coms are filled with battle catcher and the gunner crews reloading the weapon. Shell are ejected and reloaded by hand on this old beast. The boarding crew that is in font of you in the tube straps themselves in. "We are given the green light. beginning the attack run now." The pilot of the Defiant calls out. The Captain calls out the orders. "Both cores to maxim." The twin cores push to full power as the brick begins flying through space. The feeling at the pit of your stomach when the attack run starts is electrifying. No amount of dampeners can stop that feeling when the ship started spiriting to her target. "T-180 to impact...
Contacts, contacts we have Harvesters attacks us. Release all fighters all fighter. All fighter clear us a path."

The release claws opened just as the bay door release. The fighters swarm out of the beast's belly and engaged the attacking monsters. An entire fighter squad is dropped n 15 seconds. You can hear their Batarian leader scream's over the coms. "Come on 57. We got our orders from a Spectre and I am not going to let her down. Claw formation and clear that path. Come on my friends! Give our families a good death at your own hand." Your defensive fighters clear and paths and the Defiant continues her sprit the the Dis.
"T-60 to impact. All crews lock in." The gunner crews stop firing and lock everything down. The flight crews strap themselves to the wall.

All through the ship you can hear the crew shouts,
"Defiant"


Impact:

The Defiant rams the Dis and send the much large slave ship rocking. Defiant doesn't let up and continues to push into the much large ship. The light in the tube go amber and blink three times. Then two, then one and a the docking tubes is fired out. Grappling hocks dig into the Dis's side. The Defiant has her pray and she won't let go. You heard the crash of metal against metal as the docking tube slams in the ship. Te green turns green and the air lock opens revealing the Dis's haul. Cutter teams start digging into the ship. The green light mean that you can unstrap and the 4 of you prepare for combat. The tube has the cutters, boarding team and then you. Once the cutter finish the boarding teams is go. Two Quarains start their omni-shields covering the open wound. Small arms fire bounces off of the shields. Smoke grenades are thrown and it is impossible to see anything. A Geth platform grabs a large grenade luncher from off the wall and calls "VI's out." He unloads the VI turrets past the smoke. Two more Geth pull out shotgun and high hive each other before stealthing and pushing past the shields. Gun fire drowns out what ever else is said. The cutter teams grab moveable cover as the omni-sheild are dropped. The board teams enter the Dis with loud gunfire and smoke. A three click com single means that it is your turn to enter. Throw the smoke you to see the remain of the defends crew. The Reaper's blue blood covers the walls, The boarder team has done their job. "Awyr-Spetre to the left, go. We can hold here." Calls out a Geth platform. Your team move left down the hallway.

Dis Hallway:

The ship has under gone many modifications. It no longer looks like it was once made by organics. The lighting is low so it is hard to see. The hallway is large though so it doesn't feel to cramped.

Roll me Initiative rolls and your marching order. The map is shared with you guys in the drive. You are coming from the bottom left of the map and each square is a 2x2 game squares. So the hallway is 8 squares wide. This is just the over map so don't worry to much about distances. I will have smaller maps when needed.


Assuming Direct Control

30 minutes go by rather quickly and nothing too eventful happens. Once your ship docks and the fighters start there long process of loading into the sliding ranks. Two fight squads can hot drop in 30 seconds if they need too but takes three times as long to load them in. Packed like fish, each one on top of the others. Like a bees nest ready to swarm. The ship that they were being loaded into was one of the ugliest ships you had ever seen. The 4 of you stand on the flight deck and stare at this brick. The ship is a literal brick. Basically a very heavy armored rectangle. If you stare at it right it kinda looked like a claymore shotgun with a very large reenforced nose. As you stand there a Quarain wearing a captain's pin walks up to you all. ”Why, hello there. You four must be the new strike team. I am Captain of the Defiant. Don’t let her ugliness fool you, she is a great” Before he could finish his welcoming there was a large metal scream of a fighter rank being pushed some where it shouldn’t. The loading machinery stops and a warning alarm goes off. ”Bloody stubborn b!%+$.” the Captain says. You can hear the chatter coming in from his helmet. Apparently something went wrong. ”Sorry, have to deal with this. Ah, someone will show you your rooms. Just ask around.” The Captain turn around and walks back to the ship. You can hear him talking about kicking the machinery, he says that doing so usually works. You can see the boarding ramp to your ship. The Defiant sits there.

The Defiant:

From the outside you can see that this ship has a fat rear end. Massive duel drive cores can send this ship her targets at high speeds. At the front on the ship are 4 boarding harpoons. These metal tubes will holds your lives in eight hours. Hope you don’t get motion sick. The movement dampeners also are three times the size that they should be. The ship is not to well armed. Has standard guns for her class but her armor and shields are well beyond what would be expected of a transport turned warship. It is mostly staffed by Quarains and Geth but there are other council races on board too. You all quickly notice that every one is armed. Your weapons are returned to you and you can freely walk around with them.

Fighter Bay:

Once Awyr enters the fighter bay, the pilots stand up and start clapping. The 57 is rather loud with their cheering and are mostly Batarians. Many shake Awyr’s hand as she works her way to the stairs and some chant her name. This deck holds the fighters and the deck crews that are working hard to fix the loading issue. Here is where the pilots come out to hang and gamble. It is the largest and most open of the decks. The armory can also be found here if you have the need for it. This deck also hold the boarding harpoons. Deck crews are prepping them for firing. This is where the other Strike team will mostly be. Out gambling with the pilots or checking on their equipment.

Engine Room:

Two drive cores power this massive beast. The engine room is large and has people running all over. It takes a team round the clock care to make sure nothing goes wrong. The ship was originally designed to only have one core but a second was added. Great speed and it was need once the extra armor was added. Particularly near the front.

Crew Deck 1:

This deck holds he majority of the fighter pilots and crew bunks. These rooms are 8 feet by 8 feet squares. Each one has a bunk bed, a desk and a computer. Everything is bolted to the floor. Actually everything that you have seen so far is attached to the floor or a wall in some way. Everything is made not to move. Even the beds have buckles to strap yourself in. There is a very large cafeteria on this deck and bar. Dredd and The Unnamed Geth Platform name yourself, or some name him or you are the TUGP from here on out :p have rooms on this floor. Since you have some status each of you get your own rooms. They are directly across from each other next to the main set of stairs to the next floor. Each one has a single bed. There are large shared bathrooms ever 20 rooms. Many stalls and showers.

Dredd:

You are showed to your room by a Geth Platform. His has a Geth shotgun and SMG. His voice his a chipper sound to it. He walks with a little bounce in his step. When he opens the door to your room in the middle of the floor is 700 cr. worth of Ryncol. ”Won that is a game. Don’t have a use for it so I figured you would like it. Don’t have any other krogans on board. Welcome to your new home Dredd. Welcome to the Defiant. Hope you like your gift.”

Geth Platform:

Your get your room location from all of the Geth on your way. Each one shares information about it. It has a bed and a Geth terminal. You can upload here in case the worst happens and it will also recharge you.

Crew Deck 2:

These rooms are larger, 11 by 11. These rooms are for the commander crew. Brutvus has a room up here but closest to the stairs down. The closer you are to the stairs up the more prestige the room is given. However due to his size he gets one of these. It has an increase door hight and everything is suited for an Elcor. This is a nice room and the Quruains worked hard to try and make you feel comfortable. Awyr’s room is the second, directly across form the captain’s. You and the captain unofficially share the rank of command. Officially you out rank him on your ship but he has much more experience in naval battles. Specters and their ships Captain’s get along rather well. These rooms while also larger are also nicer. Softer bed, maybe a book shelf, personal bathroom being the most important addition. Instead of large bathrooms, there are large sitting rooms with displays. Since most off the command staff are working on the flight prep no one is currently here.

Bridge:

The bridge is a large semi-circle with a risen platform in the middle for the captain and other important crew. Each chair has a belt so they can be strapped in. Get it yet?There are a couple of crew up here but not many.

Gun deck:

The gun deck is the same level of the bridge just father forwards. The ship has two all range liquid guns and one short range canon. Crews are loading the large shells in and making sure everything is calibrated.

So where are you going to hang out for the next 9.5 hours? What are you going to do to pas the time? In ME each person had their stop that they were. You don’t have to do that. You can move around or pick your favorite spot is you wish. I don’t care to much about time for this part so feel free to have some fun.

Dredd:

Once you finish the drink Jorgal takes your glass from you. Wrex bends down form the waist and slams his bone forehead into yours. Dredd is send to the ground with a splitting head ache. "Hehehe, I like you Dredd but next time shut up when I am talking." He helps you to your feet and then sends you on the way.

You guys have some time to wonder the ship if you want or just do nothing till you ship comes in 2 hours. From there it is an 8 hours flight so save character stuff for that is you want. I will basically wait for an update from Awyr before moving on.

Awyr:

As you kill some of the 2 hours you have a Batarian comes up to you flanked by another Batarian and a human. The one in the center calls out for you. "Spectre Awyr, um, can you hear me out please." The Batarian sounds nervous and bows to you. "I heard that you will be involved in the attack against the Glory to Dis. Right now the 57 fighter squad is on stand by for the mission. We will only be sent if we are needed. There are a lot of Batarians in my fighters squad. Many of us served on that ship and some of us had family when the Reapers... took her. It would mean a lot to us if you could change to orders so we are on the attack and the 34th in on stand by. It, that, what i mean to say is that the ship once meant a lot to us. We would like to be involved in the attack run."
The human to the side quickly adds, "The 34 is happy to switch places with the 57. Both squads are right for the job and we would be happy to sit back and allow the 57 to attack."
The centre Batarian bows again. "Please, Spectre Awyr. We need your approval to make the switch. Can we put our family and friends to rest ourselves? We owe them that much."

Geth Platform with no name:

Niner shares some information with you. While not actually speaking I will put it in bold. "Don't worry Geth. If your platform should fall it will be with upload distance from this one. I can hold all your Geth till we can safely upload to a new shell. There is also reports of Heretics in that ship. If you see them they must die and do not let them upload to your platform. They have made their choice and they can die."
Since the Prime is a large platform then your own he can hold more programs/Geth. More Geth means greater complexity and more room for emotions. That is why he acts very un-computer like. You are still a true AI even with the more limited memory space but how you play is up to you. Bassically if your body is destroyed you won't die and you can get a new platform but we will cross the death bridge if it happens.

The Krogan smiles as you all explain your quirk. "Good to see that the universe isn't void of all humour. It must think it a joke that you lot get to ride shotgun with us. This one is an important one and it will be your first time running together. Watch each other's back and don't mess this up, little Krogan." Jorgal stops dead in his tracks and turns to face Dredd. "I know you once ran with Ganar's boys. I want none of that Blood Pack bull here, Merc." That last word was meant as a verbal punch. "But you did run with C-Sec so maybe there is some good in you after all but that is for you to prove." The Warlord tuns around and does some kind of over elaborate secret handshake with someone not there. Once it is done the invisible Turian de-cloaks and opens the door. The hallway that was once in front of you disappears as the holographic projectors turn off relieving a large vault like door. Another guard de-cloaks and the two guards both hit a button in the wall. The large vault door slowly opens. "Welcome to the Hurt Locker boys." One of the guars says as he disappears from sight again. Over the sound of the large door opening you can hear the sound on something large hitting a mat floor.

The Hurt Locker
The room you enter is the heart of the Dragon. Here lives are pitted against the Reapers and the buck stops here. This is the office space where every military choice over the last 6 years came from. This is the office of those that kill Shepard. It was divided into 6 parts. To the right of the door was a large practice area. There two Krogan's sparing against one that was twice their size. One of the jumped at the Warlord and he got slammed to the floor for his mistake. There stands the closest thing that the Krogan had to a king. He united all the clans under one banner, he has lead the military for 6 year of fighting and he is Dredd's Clan Chief. There stands Urdont Wrex. "Don't jump and attack someone large then you." His voice cries. "Come on, nephew. Be smart, attack in number and take out the legs then go for the weak points for a kill." Wrex looks up and sees you enter. He stops the training, sends the boys out and goes to his bar.

Beside him on the mat two Asari are training. One is much older and much stronger at hand to hand. She leads the attacks on the much younger one. The younger one is stuck on defence and she can't block them all. A leg trip causes her face to meet mat.
"Again, Rom. Don't only try to block all my attacks, come on, hit your mom back." Rom's face tattoos share similarities to her father's. Same Red and gold lines. Rom jumps up from the mat and attempts a jump hick. Her mother doesn't let her get away with that flashy move. It might have worked standings but from the mat, the distance was to large. To much time for her to react and Varnoc's wife catches her daughter's foot. A quick rib punch drops Rom back to the mat. A punch from Sply is deadly but she will hold back against her own blood. This Spectre has lived for over 550 years and is one of the best. Didn't start her family until later in her years. Wasn't her fault. Varnoc simply wasn't born yet. They have 2 children together. Rom is turning 40 and their youngest is only 10. Having kids has mellowed her out somewhat but she will still kick your ass if you look at her funny.

If you continue your gaze counter-clockwise around the room next is the Desk of Wrex. The large wooden desk sit there mostly used. His warlord Hammer and Claymore shotgun sit on top of stacks of papers. What Wrex does use is the bar that is with in arm reach. There lies the alcoholic drinks from around the universe. The colours in those bottles are incredible. The back wall is lined with them. Wrex makes sure that who ever comes to this office can get drunk, no matter the race. You have your favourite poison, he's got it. He is currently pouring 3 drinks of a blue, green mix.

Next is the homely area. It is sunken a little into the floor and is lined with couches and chairs. Their is a small kitchen and table for family meals. A 10 year old Asari sits on one of the chairs watching her favourite movie on a large holo screen.

The far left of the room is where you find Varnoc. He is tall for a tyrian, even sitting down you can tell. He is typing at his desk and unlike Wrex he actually fills out the paper work. While most of the military leadership falls to Wrex all the logistical aspects fall to Varnoc. As a Spectre was was famous for somehow smuggling a entire heard of space cows on to the Citadel. While did didn't have many missions under his belt as a Spectre what he did do was the impossible. If a Spectre made a request that seemed impossible he was the one who helped them out. Stone walled by a CEO, Varnoc knew how to access their computers. Want the CEO to change his bank to one closer to a restaurant for your stake out. He knew how to do it. A master at logistics. Rumor was that the space cow heard was a request from his wife just to see if he could do it. She said that if he did she would marry him. Behind is desk is the trophy/collection wall. There sits weapons of all kinds. His signature duel Paladins, his black sword (The Black Sword), Kai Lang's katana, Collector weapons, human weapons, some thing that doesn't actual look like a weapon. If it can possibly hurt someone then he has it on his wall. Some were gift like the Black Widow, and some were taken, like the Graal Spike thrower with a red stained on the barrel. He looks up as you enter and give the sign for one minute. He types away at his computer.

Just to your left stands the most holo-progectors you have ever scene. Each one shows a different system or ship. Some show nothing but lines of code and others showing personal files. What ever you ever wanted to know is held on those computers. An Awakened Collect stand in from the to screens. He wears some clothes, mostly and a armoured vest and pants, to try and fit in with the rest of the universe. He race is making progress but it is slow. He turns his large head to see you came in but seems not interested with you. What he was looking for well...

In the centre of the room sit a large circle with a projector in the centre. Niner and Jorgal bring you guys to the circle. There is the imagine of a Batarian ship. There is the imagine of your first mission. Varnoc stand up from his desk and walks to the projector. He's red and gold face tattoos are are stark contrast to his pale skin. The White Dragon joins you all at the circle.
"Welcome here everyone." He looks at each of you specially and calls out your name. "Awyr, Brutvus, Dredd and Geth? You will have to come up with a name for your platform. Anyways, there is your first mission. Awyr is is far over due for you to get your own team and what better time then this. That is the Batarian ship known as Glory to Dis. It is a large slave trader that was reported to be destroyed 7 years ago by Reapers forces. One of our scouts picked it up. As you can see it is operational and flying." The projections changes to show a complete scan of the ship. Reaper tech and infested it like a cancer. "The Reaper have invaded the systems. Turned the old Batarian ship into one of theirs. This is new. Usually Reapers rely on themselves to transport their ground force this is the fist time we are seeing them use an old captured ship. This ship is 7 year old. I want to know everything about this ship. We are going to retake the ship and drag it to the nearest shipyard for a full breakdown. If the Reapers are scared enough to start using captured ships and not themselves to come after us, I take it as good news. This is a two team strike. Team one, Titan, will go after the ship's primary bridge. Team 2, that is you new four, will take the secondary control at the ship engine room. Disable everything that you can and lock out the system. If the lay out is similar then it should be cramped spaces. Means there shouldn't be any Brutes or Banshees on board. Any that are onboard will be on the upper decks and Titan can take care of them." Niner nods to Jorgal. The Collector in the corner as joined the circle and so has Sply has too. Her match with her daughter apparently finished. "You 8 will jump ship in 2 hours. There is is a 8 hours flight to the ambush point. Board drop ships and land hot. We are not going in through the hangers but blowing holes in the side. You will have a fighter escort but once you are inside they won't help much. You all have been fighting for 6 years so you know what indoctrination looks like. This is a fast mission. Get in and then out and we will tow the ship where we want it. Any questions?"

Questions can be asked, once that is over you have two hours to hang out on ship and do what ever. Get you weapons back, pick up grenades, hang out? What every you want. The next spoiler is for Dredd once the question period is over.

Dredd:

Once the teams are dismissed Jorgal take you over to where Wrex is peparng the three drinks. "Nice to see one of my own joining the strike teams." he says. "Jorgal was hard on you before because I told him to be. Your are one of my clan. Everywhere you turn people are going to say that you only got this psotion because I helped you. I didn't. You got here because you earned it but other's will talk. Prove them wrong little one." Wrex hands you one of the drinks. "To clan Urdont, to friends, to victory." Wrex stops for a moment before taking the drink. "To you Mordin. You dam singing fool. We owe you much." The Krogan down their drinks. It taste terrible and gets you buzzed the second you down. Most likely that is the point.


Assuming Direct Control

Backstory:

Commander Shepard had just united the Geth and the Quarians when he received a mission to go help Dr. Garret Bryson from Hackett. Shepard discovers that the Doctor was indoctrinated but not from a Reaper. The indoctrination was similar but not the same. This leads Shepard on a quest that eventual ends with the Leviathan’s of Dis. These Leviathan’s are the original creators of the Reapers and have remained hidden through the cycles of death and rebirth. They inform Shepard that the Crucible that he has created is not a weapon. It is a glorified UBS keyboard that connects to the Central Control for the Reapers. The Catalyst is non other then the Citadel. Upon hearing this information the Unified Army that Shepard has created is out raged. The leaders are angry that all there sacrifice and work has been for nothing. The White Dragon stands up and claim the assemble before Shepard can intervene. Varnoc Hapkoon calls for the Crucible to be reworked as a large Mass Effect Weapon. He presents plans for the changes and the other leaders vote for the Crucible to be changed. Shepard flies into a rage when he hears of this outcome and tries to convince the assemble not to change the Crucible. Varnoc has a personal conversation with him where Shepard threatens to kill him and destroy the Crucible if these changes are pushed. Varnoc ignores his threat and starts retooling the Crucible. A week latter Shepard leaves the Normandy and leads a Reaper attack against the weapon. Quickly Varnoc claims that Shepard is indoctrinated and leads s trike team against Shepard. He is joined by many of the Normandy crew and Urdnot Wrex. Officially Shepard commits suicide, dyeing in Liara’s arms. He killed himself before he lost total control. Unofficially Varnoc’s sword was stained red and him and Wrex were talking about who got the last blow. After the death of the universe’s hero the United Army almost disbanded. Wrex and Varnoc held it together long enough for the Crucible to be remade into a weapon and renamed as “the Shepard.” Once the gun became operational it joined a liberation fleet and the Turian home world was freed. That major victory reformed the United Army and it was renamed Liberation under the command of General Varnoc and Warlord Wrex. Varnoc quickly restarted the strike teams and personally lead one to take out the Cerberus created Sanctuary.

Sanctuary Attack:

Varnoc, Wrex, a strike team and an army attacked the Cerberus base and killed nearly everyone inside. The infamous terrorist known as Kai Lang was killed and his katana currently sits on Varnoc trophy wall. The head of Cerberus was not found at the cite and is still being hunted. However, he is almost no longer a threat. The vast majority of his ships and personal were destroyed. Miranda Lawson proved to be very helpful in hunting down the last Cerberus ships. There are still some out there and the leader hasn’t been killed yet but they are no longer a massive threat. Miranda currently enjoys working with the Liberation Intelligence Branch and is joined there by her sister.

6 Years of War:

Since the complete retooling of the Shepard many planets have been freed from the Reaper forces. The Shepard is slow to fire but it can destroy a Reaper in a couple of shots. The weapon tends to be fired from a star system over and snipers the Reapers. Once the Reaper has left the planet alone or been killed off then the Liberation fleet lands and clears the planet. Currently the majority of Turain space is cleared and many Asari planets are freed. Currently strike teams are attacking where ever the Reapers show up. This war may be long but it looks like we might be able to win it. The Reaper forces are starting to pull out of the Krogan home world and this worries Wrex. Now the clans won’t have a common enemy. Grunt has done a good job keeping them together but the lack of a stronger enemy could spell problems. The planet will be cleared and the clans will be quickly send off world to fight the Reaper off planet.

Other specific bask story:

Ashley Williams: has done well for herself. Leads her own strike team and has many missions under her belt. Still some anti-alien comments but she keeps most of her dumb ideas to herself.

Garrus Vakarian and Tali’Zorah: Currently acting as an ambassador to the Quarian people. He has starred a relationship with Tali’Zorah and she has been promoted to Admiral. The Geth have been a big help in rebuilding the Quarian home world. The majority of the Quarians have kept themselves out of the Reaper Wars. The have a home to build but the Geth are very active.

Liara T’Soni: Much has been taken form this women. Her love was killed and her life’s work rendered mute with living Collectors/Protheans. She is currently suffering from a deep depression but her father is now in her life.

David Anderson: It is not known either he is living or dead. Earth seems to be the head quarters of the Reaper forces. Report state that the Citadel current orbits the planet but this is unconfirmed.

Jeff “Joker” Moreau: Still an active pilot with his “girlfriend” EDI. He still pilots the Normandy however there is still no captain. It didn’t feel right for someone else to use the ship so currently it leads victory laps around the universe for moral. Joker and EDI seem happy doing it for now.

Dr. Chakwas: Still living and still a great doctor. Nothing can stop this women and currently runs the largest military hospital.

Wrex: Now called Warlord Wrex he has gone through his secondary growth and is now larger then life. He and Varnoc command the Liberation force from the Red Dragon. The largest dreadnought named after it’s two captains and currently the head quarters for the forces.

Grunt: Currently in charge of the Krogan’s home world. He is in charge of all the clans and works hard to make sure they all stay in line. He currently has one baby boy.

Jack: This crazy b@%&$ is still teaching. Now more then ever there are students that need a stronger teacher. Since the loss of the human’s home world many human are focusing on colony creation. She is becoming a natural leader for the human race.

Javik: After the awaking of the left over Collectors Javik has part of his people back. With help from the Leviathans and many Salarian scientists most of the Collectors are returning to something more normal. many have started wearing clothes again.

James: who cares? He is running a military gym for Vets.

Eve: “married” to Wrex. Currently rising two sons and tells Grunt off when he does something stupid. Actual she just tells Grunt what to do. She runs the planet.


Hallway of the Red Dragon:

The four of you are each brought to the Red Dragon by a different drop ships. Each of you had a very different path to get to this point but they each take a similar flight path. The first show off the Shepard and the defense fleet that protects it. That fleet is both an honor and a death sentence. That fleet has the highest death rate but it has the most important job. The Shepard still stands after 6 years of fighting because of them. Next of the tour is the Destiny Ascension. Still standing and is the heart if the United Government. He is where all the governments of the many worlds meet. Next to the Ascension is the Red Dragon. Three times as long and twice the size. If that didn’t spell out who holds the power nothing will. The Red Dragon is the largest dreadnaught and the head of the Liberation army. Once inside the massive ship you are asked to place your weapons in lockers. Specters may take a pistol or SMG with them but nothing else where you are going. You are greeted by a massive Korgan Warlord and Geth Prime. They still hold there weapons. You are guided down a long hallway that lead to the office of General Varnoc and Warlord Wrex. The two leaders of the entire fleet and army. As you four walk down the hallway the Krogan turns to the Prime. ”Is it just me or are these guys getting shorter. I don’t know they let tiny Krogan’s join the army. Ha! What is next? Tiny Blue? Oh wait I see one.”
The Geth Prime turns his single eye to match the Kragon’s face. Since they are the same height is was rather easy to lock eyes. ”Jorgal, you are being rude to these tiny organic flesh sacks. At least the Elcor has some height.” The Krogan laughs at the Geth’s joke.
The Korgan looks down at the Asari. ”So Blue, what have you done? What make you so special? What makes any of you fools so special. Killed a Reaper Dreadnought with only one arm? Wait I got it, you can dance. Ha!”
"Jorgal, shut up." replies Niner.

yeah, I will be posting once i have a day off and the format will be changing. The completely open mystery style that I wanted doesn't translate very well and it more often just ended up with you guys having no idea where to go next. I will be changing it to more of a cop drama the mystery. One leads leads to another and he bread crumbs lead to the bad guy. Something that will be much more straight forward and hopefully easier to follow. What is the next step will be made more clear and there will be more of a sequence.

Milomir when you examine the drive you find that it is locked with a finger print. It can be hacked but it is much faster to use the correct finger print to unlock it. Hacking it would take a couple of hours with a actual computer. Much longer with just your omni-tool.

So some GM talk. You guys currently have a couple of leads.
One, the data of the found drive. Erik you can find it with your 27 roll but I need you to come up with a really dumb/interesting/funny spot where you found it. Have some fun with it.
Second, the meeting at the bar latter on in the night.
Third, going to meet Casey.
I the only one who has to stay at the apartment so far is Erik but how the party splits after that is up to you guys. I would recommend that more then two people go to meet Casey or wait for Erik to find the drive and everyone goes. Cancel that everyone goes to meet Casey. It is kinda a set piece and i would like everyone there. Once that is over you can spilt up again.

The three officer is the car arrive at the apartment. The street has settled down somewhat but the fires of the exploded car is still lit. There are officers everywhere. Some are interviewing people and others are trying to collect what evidence they can. You guys land close by. It is chaotic enough that no one talk to you. The three can choose what they want to do. You cans simply walk up to the apartment or choose something else.

Serona follows the voice past the door way and into the living room. She moved past the kitchen
and sees a human female standing there with her back to the large window. The apartment is a total mess with various object tossed around the room. It appears like she was looking for something and hasn't found it. There is a broken metal char beside the widow and a small dent in the plastic surface. The older buildings are using a plastic like substance for their windows. It is very hard and almost un breakable. That would explain why she couldn't break it. The women is just standing there awkwardly trying to look normal. "Hello, why are you in Casey's apartment. Don't you need a warrant or something?"

Outside Bar:

The three officers exist the bar and nothing else happens. You can call Serona to report or head back to HQ to see how the evidence is coming along.

As you near the open apartment Dread starts to here a voice. It is the voice of a female having a one sided conversation or you just can't hear the rest of it.
"I am telling you that it is not here... I don't know where it, is you said it would be under the bed and it is not under your bed... I am sorry, it is there was an explosion a couple of minutes ago and C-Sec is everywhere... I don't know if it is related to his death or not... Yes, I have looked under the table..."

The turian puts down his cards and stares at Milomir. "By my families spirits, get him out." A human bouncer pushes Milomir back outside the curtained area and closes them behind him. "Please don't bother my boss while him and his friends are enjoying there drinks. Any other questions or complaints can be directed to his lawyer. The human takes out a card for a well known mob Volus lawyer and hands it to Milomir. "Have a nice day officer."
Milomir didn't get a chance to scan much but he did get some hits on the people at the table. They were mobster, with some ties to the Blue Suns. Usually they don't deal in murder and they are much more organized then the local gangs that run around down here. The Blue Sun do deal with trafficking anything on to the Citadel so you might have found a lead. None of the slot machines have been messed with. They have a very small payout but that is normal for a lower hive bar.

Apartment:

Serona and Dread make their way up to the correct apartment. When they get to the right floor they see that the door to her apartment is open.

Roll perception please to see what you can see or hear. You can also move up or what ever. You are on the stair case and looking on the floor. It looks like a normal apartment building.


Citadel layout lore:

So the citadel is a large space satiation the slowly rotates to get is gravity. It has 5 arms all connected to one ring. This ring is the Presidium and the 5 arms are the Wards. When I say lower or upper Ward it means the distance from the Presidium and not how low to the ground it is. The parts of the Wards that are farthest away from the ring are the lower Wards and generally have more crime. The Wards also have no day-night cycle. Same brightness all the time. The Presidium does have a 20 hour cycle. A standard day is measures by 20 hours and every hour is 100 minutes. I will not be using this measurement because we are all used to a 24 by 60 one and it would require that I mess with time... to much work.
