Background:
Hammerstone comes from a clan of crafters and forgers. His father was a well respected arms crafter, while his grandfather crafted armors. His uncle, slightly crazy focused on things that went BOOM, and as such had a liking of alchemy.
During the beginning stages of the Revolution, the chaotic state of the government fluctuated so vastly, that trade, creation of, and selling of any sort of goods that could be used to overthrow whomever was in power, caused craftsmen like his clan to suffer.
Hammerstone wants to be able to craft without fear of persecution.
