eberron goodness!!!

5/5

if you like eberron, you must have this book! dragonmarks are one of the coolest and most important parts of eberron. this book has all the information you need about dragonmarks. it gives a lot of information about the goals, jobs, leaders, of each dragonmark house, as well as the effect they have on khorvaire (and other places in eberron). next it has prestige classes (which are awesome!!!) and then feats. normally i don't like the feats chapter in eberron supplements, but these feats are awesome!!! also, it gives you the ability to develop the lesser and greater abberant dragonmarks, not just the least one in the campaign setting. all in all, awesome book!!!

AWESOME!!!!!

5/5

this campaign setting is awesome! if you're tired of the same old forgotten realms, greyhawk, or dragonlance, than this is the campaign for you. while campaigns like the ones i just mentioned seem bland and have such a tolkienesque feel to them (not that tolkien isn't great). eberron is completely creative and new, and is packed with information. also, the idea of dragonmarks is awesome. the new races are awesome! (especially warforged and kalashtar) the feats and prestige classes are cool to, and the artificer is really cool. the spells, to, are cool. this campaign is full of "pulp" and it is very fun to play in. best campaign setting ever!!!

Good end to a great magazine

5/5

this was an awesome issue. the part about 20 most maniacal villians was very cool (how come Tharizdun was 8th instead of 20th? "he is the ultimate doom, the Armageddon trigger, patron to madmen, the hopless, and the unspeakably vile." sounds eviler than count strahd! the demonicon was cool. i didn't think the demon lords were all that great except for ugudenk, the squirming king. HE IS AWESOME! he's a HUMONGO wyrm like creature. his abyssal layer is all underground and is for burrowing. but no one has ever seen his end. he is actually an extension to some undiscovered abyssal layer. he is just about invincible, since when killing him really is just killing his head, whenever this happens he just retreats to his layer and regenerates.the wizard's three, ecology, class acts, volo's guide, dragonmarks, savage tidings, class acts, and order of the stick were all good. the only part of this issue i didn't like was the mysteries of d&d. NONE OF THE QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED! most of them were way to open ended (especially the eberron ones) and we already knew. but all in all great ending. thanks paizo!

good, not great

4/5

this issue had some cool stuff, and some not cool stuff. first of all, i play in eberron, so i don't really care about the gods from the phb, like st.cuthbert. if i did, that would have been an enjoyable article. i thought the chesspieces in dnd was a cool idea, but wouldn't be to useful. the master's forge had cool ideas for low magic campaigns, but none of the things in it were that powerful. but, the ecology of the kaorti was awesome! even though it's hard to incorporate the far realm into eberron, or any campaign with it's own cosmology, it still was interesting and cool. also the dragonmarks and volo's guide were very good.

super sized?

2/5

first of all, this issue was not supersized. it was about the same size as a normal issue of dragon. the only part i found interesting was the part about dreadhold, the alkatraz (i know i spelled that wrong) of eberron. the rest of it wasn't too cool. also-the cover had nothing to do with it!!! awesome cover- not awesome issue.

GREAT ISSUE!

5/5

this issue had it all! the demonicon of iggwilv was great. demogorgon is a very interesting demon lord, and the article had some great backround and information about him. the defiled creatures was interesting-especially the bloodlance. the ecology of the titan was cool, and the prestige class in dragonmarks was one of my favorites. awesome!
