Should I still select a crime for my new character, even though she isn't being imprisoned at Branderscar?

Nope. Graz'ul only rages once he's taken damage. That 35, plus the 7 I took from the cobras that never got healed puts me at...-17. 3 points past full dead. XD

I'll start rolling up a new character. ^_^

Oh, and it's just semantics at this point, but Pathfinder Cleave works differently from 3.5

Cleave (Combat)

You can strike two adjacent foes with a single swing.

Prerequisites: Str 13, Power Attack, base attack bonus +1.

Benefit: As a standard action, you can make a single attack at your full base attack bonus against a foe within reach. If you hit, you deal damage normally and can make an additional attack (using your full base attack bonus) against a foe that is adjacent to the first and also within reach. You can only make one additional attack per round with this feat. When you use this feat, you take a –2 penalty to your Armor Class until your next turn.

Graz'ul would be dead either way, but I just wanted to point that out.

Here's Graz'ul's gear for the looting if you guys want to.

Armor: Masterwork Light Wooden Shield, Masterwork Studded Leather
Other Gear: backpack, bedroll, belt pouch, flint and steel, 50' rope x3, torches (10), trail rations (5 days), waterskin.
Wealth: 54g3s

For those of you curious, while at the prison Graz was connecting with 72.7% of his swings. Since leaving the prison that accuracy rate has dropped to 22.7%, bringing my total hit percentage to 39.3%.

Maybe Brawler's Flurry and Wild Fighting were a bad idea to use together. lol

Although, most of it is my s$$&e luck at rolling dice. ^_^

WHOO! I rolled higher than 10 for initiative! lol

Swift action into Pummeling Style, full-attack. Oh, and I'm flanking! Maybe I'll actually hit!

Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 - 2 - 2 + 2 = 7
Damage 1: 1d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 1 = 9 plus bleed

Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 7 - 2 - 2 + 2 = 14
Damage 2: 1d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 1 = 8 plus bleed

Attack 3: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 7 - 2 - 2 + 2 = 9
Damage 3: 1d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7 plus bleed

Guess not. I'm gonna go do some math on what percentage of Graz'ul attack rolls have actually hit. ^_^

If he doesn't allow Wade to touch him, Graz'ul will hurry over to his side.

"It would be an honor to squire for one such as you, Sir Balin. Might I bear your sword for you?"

If he gets bad-touched by Wade before I get there, I guess I'll just wait for initiative to be rolled.

Male Half-Orc Brawler/Barbarian 1; AC 15, touch 12, flat-footed 13; CMB +7, CMD 19; HP 25; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will -1; Init +2; Knowledge (local) +5, Perception +4, Survival +4, Swim +10

Graz'ul already has his standard "I'm totally not a half-orc" disguise up with the circlet. Anywhere that we haven't previously assured is safe, assume it's up.

Graz'ul smiles at Razul and nods. He steps into the room.

"Sir Balin! We've been looking for you! We've already found Timeon, the poor boy. He's hiding now, awaiting only our signal that the escape route is safe. Come, sir. I'll take the rear should any diabolical surprises attack from behind."

Take note that not a word of what I said is a lie. ^_^

Graz'ul rolls his shoulders and hops in place. He cracks his knuckles and his neck.

"Let's do this!"

By the way, with Pummeling Style even though I'm making multiple attack rolls it all counts as one heavy punch. Graz'ul throws everything he has into one punch per round. ^_^

Let's see if I can connect with more than one attack this time.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 17
Damage 1: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 22
Damage 2: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Attack 3: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 15

BOOM.

Damage 1: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 13
Damage 2: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Attack 3: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 16
Damage 3: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Well, at least that swing connected a little bit.

I'll repeat my action. Pummeling Style is still active, Wild Raging Brawler's Flurry.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 8
Damage 1: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 12
Damage 2: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Attack 3: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 9
Damage 3: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Bleh. Swing and a miss. Oddly, undead aren't immune to bleed damage, so if that first one is still standing when its turn comes around, don't forget the 1d4 bleed.

Alright, swift action to activate Pummeling Style. Wild Fighting plus Brawler's Flurry equals 3 attacks.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 6
Damage 1: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 15

Okay...It seems that Bracnos is the closest thing to Graz'ul since Annak and Syldran have, at the very least, 5' stepped back. Bracnos, I hope this doesn't hurt too much.

Still raging (+4 Str/Con, +2 Will, -2 AC), still Power Attacking (-1 Atk, +2 Dmg), Reckless Abandon (-1 AC, +1 Atk), Brawler's Flurry (-2 Atk, extra attack at full BAB), and Wild Fighting (-2 Atk, extra attack at full BAB). Swift action move into Pummeling Style.

d20pfsrd wrote:
As a full-round action, you can pool all your attack potential in one devastating punch. Make a number of rolls equal to the number of attacks you can make with a full attack or a flurry of blows (your choice) with the normal attack bonus for each attack. For each roll that is a hit, you deal the normal amount of damage, adding it to any damage the attack has already dealt from previous rolls (if any). If any of the attack rolls are critical threats, make one confirmation roll for the entire attack at your highest base attack bonus. If it succeeds, the entire attack is a confirmed critical hit. You can only use Pummeling Style with unarmed strikes.

Here goes nothing...Bracnos's AC is normally 15, but would drop to 14 from the fatigue of just coming out of Bloodrage.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 1 + 1 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 2 - 1 + 1 - 2 - 2 = 11

Damage 3: 1d6 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 + 2 = 15

Graciously, none of those hit. I REALLY didn't want to hit you with that 37 damage plus bleed. Whew. Graz'ul's rage and confusion drops. ^_^

"Nine hells. I'm sorry, Bracnos. I don't know what came over me."

Graz'ul slumps against the wall, breathing heavily.

Awesome. Graz'ul is now confused. =/

I'm just going to make my rolls now and see what I do and how long I stay confused.

Confusion: 1d100 ⇒ 88
Will Save: 1d20 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (17) - 1 + 2 = 18

Okay, 88 puts me into the "Attacks nearest creature" section of confusion, I guess we'll see who or what is closest to me when my turn comes around again. I did make my Will save at the end of that next turn though, so if I hit any of you guys, it'll only be once. ^_^

@DM: there are interpretations that it would wink out if combat lasted for more than a miniute per caster level (3 I think, given that level three is the earliest you can get craft wondrous)

Even then, the duration on Disguise Self is 10 minutes/caster level. If a combat lasts for 300 rounds, something really crazy is happening and your flimsy disguise doesn't matter. ^_^

The circlet acts as a Hat of Disguise which runs off of Disguise Self. That spell isn't one that drops in combat (afaik, only Invisibility does that), just one that gives A creature that interacts with it a Will save to recognize it as an illusion.

I should be fine to come out of rage. Uncontrolled Rage says "A wild rager's rage functions as normal, except that when she reduces a creature to 0 or fewer hit points, she must attempt a Will save or become confused." I didn't reduce the wraith's hp, and the orb isn't a creature. Dropping out of rage.

"I'll take one for the team this time."

He enters the room and walks over to the sphere, picking it up, if possible.

You could dip one level into Sleepless Detective, but that's not really a solution. Intimidating Prowess sets a precedent for any number of custom feats that allow you to add one stat to a skill that uses a different one. Just a few word changes are easy.

Forensic Method

You use your intellect to logically find even the most minute detail.

Benefit: Add your Intelligence modifier to Perception skill checks in addition to your Wisdom modifier.

I'll roll Perception. What's with the West door? It looks different on the map than the others.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

May as well take my chances...

Perception North: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Perception West: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Perception South: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Perception East: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Graz'ul's powers of perception are LEGENDARY. lol

"Well, I don't see anything. Maybe the way through is at the bottom of that pit."

So you do. For some reason, I always read "Graz" from you. lol

Graz'ul might be slightly taken aback by someone actually using his proper name. lol

He'll wait to open the door until Razul (just noticed the name similarity. ^_^) finishes his inspection if possible. I'll let our illustrious GM determine if you stopped me in time.

Graz'ul, exasperated, sighs.

"Nine Hells...we spend too much time deliberating everything."

He walks to the wall and edges his way around until he's right next to the door, then reaches over and opens it.

Looks like you missed me saying I'd open the door if it looks safe. ^_^
