I'm thinking Elf Ranger for race and class. pat512 wrote: One might even be a scout from the raiding forces -- a Razmiran who sees that the crofters are doing no harm, and betrays his officers by warning the heretics. Is and interesting idea and i would like to play with it but could I get more in for on the Razmiran.
I've found a bug. When I set up a first level fighter to dual-wield short swords I set the main hand weapon to Use Field to Two-Weapon Primary (light Secondary) then I set the off-hand weapon Use Field to Two-Weapon Secondary it then adds 1/2 my str mod to damage for the off-hand weapon. So it looks like this str 15 (+2)
And if str 20 (+5)
Also (this is more a features request then a bug) it would be nice to have an other option on the language so that you can write in non standard languages such as Varisian.
Well I had fun and am looking forward to more. pat512 wrote:
I don't know but I kinda think the description of the koboles with shields kinda told me that they were a bit more challenging then the spear-wielders. I don't really thing we need to meta game to figure out where the grater challenge is but then again I didn't know that the spear-wielders where minion at first.

I've read through the first encounter of RotRL and have done a heavy skim of the players guide but thats about all I know. I've never used Irony Games before but have used Invisible Castle
This is the (Gaius Nepos) character I plan to use for the adventure. Please look over it and tell me what you think (especially the Gear and the Languages I'm not sure about those sections). I haven't had a chance to right up the back story but I still need to roll for some of that. Please tell me what it is you need me to roll it's getting late for me and I don't feel like digging through the thread to find that out thank you. I used This to come up with the stats

Hmm, This can be worked with my idea for the mercenary company was to have it disband at some point before the adventure but with this area being atwar for so long I could rework it so that the mercenary company was wiped out in its last battle and the druid came along and found me the only survivor and nursed me back to health or some such and the two if us are now friends.

First I don't have those books. Second would a Fight/Rogue fit. Lastly looking at at the discussion I saw that you gave the players therebackground this is fine but I would like to have some input on the occupation (Mercenary Company Leader) of my father the rest is not important to me is this possible?
I would be interested joining your group. I've began reading the description page for the campaign (only the first page) and it seams like I would need a bit of help catching up though. Also I should note I'm not very familiar with pbp and most my D&D experience is with 2e and its been a while since i played even that.

I don't know where it says that weapon specialization is gone but, I don't know that its still in either but greater weapon focus is sill in its a prerequisites for Deadly Stroke.
Fleck wrote: And since you brought up the topic of favored classes, do you think it would be a good idea to let characters who take a level in a favored class choose between +1 hit point and +1 skill point? I would second that sounds like a good idea and helps with all the classes that only get 2 skill points per level. Kirth Gersen wrote:
I like that too. I feel like the Gnome needs something more martial then the bard as its second choice but I don't really think fighter or any of the other core classes is the right choice maybe the new class they have planed will do it. |
