I don't recall where, but I swear I've read about an item almost identical to this, however the one I remember was a bit more limited, like a +3 enchantment was transfered as a +2. Anyway, I'm surprised no one else has said anything about it. Maybe I'm misremembering.

I'm curious to know whether many entries violated the SRD only content rule. I fear this was a mistake I made in my own entry... referencing a non-SRD spell in the creation requirements. For some reason, at the time, I thought such a reference wouldn't count as "using" content. (would that be called a stupid attack?). There were probably several reasons mine got cut, for example I'm going to bet that mine was the only wondrous wig (better than it sounds perhaps). Ah well, its for the best that I didn't make it. Writing a whole fantasy novel should be enough to keep me busy, right?

.
For the curious...

Spoiler:

Wig of the Grimlock
The high contrast of bright mithril chain and black grimlock’s hair in the long, thick braids of this wig gives the wearer a visually striking appearance. A thin mithril visor forms a smooth, eyeless mask over the eyes and nose. For the first hour the wearer is blinded by the visor, but as the grimlock hairs lock themselves in her scalp, the metal becomes transparent to her view, revealing more than her eyes normally perceive. Once locked, the wearer’s hearing and sense of smell improve dramatically granting her continuous Blindsight out to 40 feet. She can “see” odors and sounds. If she has the Track feat, she can find and follow trails with a Wisdom check just as a creature with the scent ability can. A command word unlocks the wig, which takes 10 minutes.
Conditions that negate either hearing or smell reduce this ability to Blind-fight (as the feat). Conditions that negate both senses ruin the ability and blind the wearer, as the visor becomes opaque while the conditions persist.

Body Slot: face.
Moderate transmutation; CL 5th; Craft Wondrous Item, Blindsight; Price 30,600 gp; Weight 1 lb.

My thanks to the judges et al. You all are fantastic.

Maybe you could include some related elements like thorny bushes or snakes, or perhaps the gazebo could be open but provide total cover.

Both of these are actually pretty useful in a game setting, as well as being funny. The Panic Button would be really fun in a campaigne. I can see the rogue or the wizard disappearing and the party having to decide wether they should wait for the wayward member to return or (more likely) go on their merry way and let the panicy pain catch up on his own.

Helm of the Migrangular
This soft blue-gell helmet is always comfortably chill to the touch and thereby relieves migraine sufferers from their pain. If the wearer is experienced with migraines, she may trigger such a headache in any creature who refuses to believe how painful they are. The target makes a Will disbelieve check with a DC of 15. Failure means the target believes in migraines, and thus avoids the effects. Success means the target is nauseated and fatigued. If already fatigued, exhaustion ensues instead. While under the influence of a migraine, the subject is automatically dazed by any bright light, concentration checks are made with a -2 circumstance penalty and the subject’s attitude towards all creatures encountered is unfriendly or if already unfriendly, then hostile.

Faint enchantment; CL 3rd; Craft Wonderous Item, Bane, Caster must have had a migraine; Price 6,000 gp; Weight 2lbs.

My answer to the Remote Control of Command

Helm of Dominance
Embodying all the best in barbarian fanfare, this helm has a brutal elegance with prominent horns and dangling chains. The sides are studded with rubies, twelve in total. If a male wearing the helm presses one of the rubies while looking at a woman she must succeed on a DC 30 Will save or submit to his rule. Each ruby has a different effect according the the table below.

Ruby 1: Shiver in ecstasy at his merest touch
Ruby 2: Put on slinky clothes and wiggle around
Ruby 3: Invite hot friend over for torrid threesome
Ruby 4: Stop nagging, just believe in him
Ruby 5: Stop redecorating the house
Ruby 6: Stop being so emotional and think logically
Ruby 7: Give massage
Ruby 8: Cook fantastic meal
Ruby 9: Do laundry without complaining
Ruby 10: Mute
Ruby 11: Get beer
Ruby 12: Transform into total fox

Strong various; CL 20th; Craft Wonderous Item, Charm Person, Command, Silence 15' rad, Polymorth Other; Price 300,000 gp; Weight 2lbs.

I think I ended up with something that "bashes" men as much or more than women here. Help me out guys, is there anything I missed?

Remote Control of Command... 3000 gp

That is an increadible device! I bet you could sell it for waaay more than 3k. ;-)

2 lbs? That sounds like a greater strap-on of elven kind.

As this device is of elven make there is a level of design that goes beyond the typical human inventions. The elves use an ingenious counterweight system for improved balance and... uhm, performance.

I have to wonder about the "glows in the presence of Zombies" part. How does it fit in with the rest of the abilities? Paranoia?

Not paranoia, it's more of an affinity thing. Perhaps a less well-made Pipe of Chronic Stupidity has a 5% chance of turning you into a zombie when you take a drag. Also, a note for the uninitiated, chronic is another word for that green stuff so many people like to smoke.

Glad you liked it. Here's another one that is certainly uncouth.

Strap-on of Elvenkind
Popularized by the lecherous Elf King Ghurlon Ghurlphun, this wondrous item, though less robust than the Strap-on of Giantkind, is one of the most popular creations of all the ages. Once a day, with the command phrase “I promise I am 18 or older”, this device summons a pair of nubile wood nymphs. They cannot attack or cast spells but will obey all your commands, as long as they involve the device and a lot of healthy romping. The ladies stay for 10 minutes, at which time they vanish in a puff of pink smoke.

Luscious conjuration; CL 5th; Craft wondrous item, Summon Nature’s Ally III; Price 3,000 gp; Weight 2lb.

Pipe of Chronic Stupidity

This multi-colored pipe made of swirly glass is of the highest quality halfling make and glows in the presence of zombies. Regardless of the type of pipe weed utilized, once the smoker pulls a hit, a full round action, he must make a DC 20 Fortitude save or be subject to the following effects. The smoker enters a euphoric trance and is considered both dazed and confused. He can no longer communicate effectively in any language known, however, everything he says makes perfect sense to him. He loses all track of time and is 50% likely to forget anything of importance. He suffers a -5 circumstance penalty on all saves versus enchantments including Calm Emotions, Deep Slumber, Enthrall and Mind Fog. He also suffers a -10 penalty on saves against totally trippy light shows including Color Spray, Hypnotic Pattern, Rainbow Pattern and Pyrotechnics. These effects last for 10 rounds after which the smoker receives a +2 morale bonus on saving throws, attack rolls, ability checks, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls for 10 minutes. The pipe can produce this effect 3 times per day, otherwise it operates as a normal, albeit sweet looking, pipe.

Moderate enchantment; CL 10th; Craft Wondrous Item, Confusion, Daze, Detect Undead, Good Hope, creator must have 5 ranks in Knowledge (intoxicants); Price 50,000 gp; Weight 1 lb.
