How many grogs would a grognard nard if a grognard could nard grogs?

Oh that's an easy one, a grogillion. Though back in my day we would nard a grogilliion grogs easily in an hour. You whippersnappers have it easy with your "messaging boards" and "Facks" (whatever those are); cuts down on the amount of grogs you have to nard. I even heard tell some don't even know how to grog a nard! It's all just a ... a ... what are you doing here? Who let you in? Gitoffamylawn!!!

It's not actually fair representation of self-proclaimed grognards any more than "painting the target as a hopeless old fogey, dreaming of his lost youth and shouting "get off my lawn"" is a fair picture of what others mean by the term.

And using the terms "grognard" and "whippersnapper" in the same sentence can never be interpreted as the first meaning. I don't think anyone in this thread (especially not thejeff) is really thinking this way, but it still rubs me the wrong way to see it.

<cranky old man voice>Oh now see here, you whippersnapper, if you speak with the appropriate voice to relay the fact you are not being serious, I believe you can, as a proper grognard, say both grognard and whippersnapper in the same sentence without being ... sounding ... what was I saying? Ah you young whippersnappers! Back in my day, we has spam flowing through ports uphill both ways. Little packets explodin' into voodoo love potion offers, fake ID and currency offers, netherworld based ghosty hit man revenge offers, dread pirate video offers ... Them threads were crawling with the stuff!

Holy hells! I jist scanned down and we're being invaded by gibberish! Dang spammer kids these days don't even know how to hook an audience. Ain't like the old days, when spammers took pride in their work ... well, not pride, but dang it you knew what they was train' to sell you. Spammers these days got no respect.

Phhfffft! All this talk of yer fancy shmancy "recharging staff". Back in my day we used a staff and at the end of the day, you know what we had? We had a stick!
