Gill approaches Rougar, beaten and tired he puts his hands on his hips and let's out a defeated chuckle. "This damn boat needs to sink, I'm tired friend, I'll see you on the morrow."
Gill drops his rope duty and rushes to Rougar's aid. "The gods picked the wrong dog!" Gill adds whatever strength he can and pulls the rope with Rougar.
Gill is struck with an expression of rage and puts his hand on his blade leaning towards Scourge after Rougar speaks. "I'll work my arse off for this ship, this crew, and our lives. But not your's, if the sea gods' had any power you'll be drowned before the night's over." Gill turns away and gets to work with determination.
Gill looks worried over to Rougar as he slowly munches his biscuit and chugs some water. "I'm hurting and tired. Only violence is going to come after all our hard work. I'm thinking if I see land again I may never leave it. We have to do something." Gill looks down to the floor and seems disheartened.
Gill looks at Dinkus with frustrated and sympathetic eyebrows and grumbles before beginning to climb.
Ya waitin on dink
Gill smiles and pulls up his britches. "Catch me if I fall but I didn't rob houses and learn nothing." Gill braces himself and begins climbing.
Gill hops off the hammock and nods to Rougar. "Well I'm off to bed aswell see you next morning." Gill saunters over to his own sleeping quarters.
Sorry I've been preoccupied a lot lately but I'm still totally into it. Meeting the captain was actually a mistake I just went with lol I meant to stalk around the officers cabin but accidentally said captains.
Gill pushes Rougar's legs to the side a bit and hops up onto a clear spot in his hammock. Sitting with his feet dangling Gill responds "Well I stumbled upon the captains cabin... I was invited in only to wish I wasn't. He told me nothing useful and I couldn't see his face. All I know is people want him dead and a great darkness surrounds him. He is a different breed of evil than his officers." Gill looks nervous "For alittle while I was beginning to think it was safe here but meeting him reminded me of what peril we are in"
Gill piles his food into his mouth whilst walking away and nods. "Goodnight aswell." Gill instead travels to Rougar's bunk. Eating his food while just appearing Gill says, "Haven't talked to you in a bit, what ya know chum? Me I got some info."
Gill smiles and eats some food. I can see you know how to make friends. Gill says sarcastically.
Gill looks over at Dinkus with a shocked expression. He grabs some food and walks over to the group. "Finally some entertainment that doesn't involve fight, whipping or drinking. Names Gill, you must be new here.. Gill says to Dinkus.
Gill stands from his chair and shivers No that is all I shall take my leave." Gill quickly bows and makes a hastily exit. He heads back to the galley, his stomach grumbling, looking for a meal.
Gill shrugs and smiles "I mostly wished to simply introduce myself and learn my captain's identity. Of more than that I am curious of where and for what reason do we travel. Though I know I cannot expect an answer on either. You know of me now and should seek to find me should you need my expertise."
Gill let's down his appearance for a moment and sloppily pulls out the chair hopping his butt onto it. "Well in such a marvelous city there is also plenty of marvelous dangers. I wish not to be rude but here I am bearing myself to you, do you always keep that hood up?". Gill crosses his arms and hangs his right leg over his other leaning back in the chair.
Gill straightens up his armor and clothes and assertively strides into the room with his head held high. He approaches the table and bows afterwards folding his arms behind his back. "Ahoy Captain! I am known as Gill of Waterdeep, Gill the giant slayer and mostly just Gill. It is a pleasure to have been granted permission to make your acquaintince. May I sit?" Gill says putting on his best manners.
Gill smiles at the girl and performs a regal bow. "Greetings young lady, I am Gill of Waterdeep, I believe I saw you in the kitchen not long ago. You see I am here to request of when the Captain would like his meal, perhaps I may see him?"
Gill knocks three times on the door an straightens up his posture waiting for a response. Time to put a face on this ship...
Gill sneaks off to his own business and heads back to the captains cabin to snoop around.
Gill wipes himself off and goes to Rougar, "Well I hope I never have to do that and be greeted with the pointy end of a blade rather than maties, Rougar how have you been, ya know I don't mind most of this rabble too much these days." Gill smiles and puts his hands on his hips.
Gill grabs onto the rope hanging upside down using his hands and feet to hold on. His light body scurries forward.
Gill looks a bit nervous and silently gets on the boat.
Gill wakes and goes to see Owlbear bringing him an extra biscuit from the kitchen. He pats him on the head and doesn't say a word. Gill will spend his ship action working diligently with Kroop and tries to humor him while doing so.
Gill laughs and walks over to a pig cage, "What the hell why not". Gill let's a pig out and leads it over to Owlbear to play with.
Gill frowns and reaches out to Owlbear. "It pained me to have to do that friend. Against anyone else it would have been much worse for you. I wanted to help you... Listen you did a good job, I promise you I'll get you out of this hell and you can be free to play with piggies and live how you want." Gill turns away and looks over his shoulder at Owlbear, "I promise"
I don't have any diplomacy it's just plus 1 from cha
Ya I get that but I was wondering why I didn't get the bonus from the fight in my diplomacy roll with peppery not that it woulda changed anything.
Gill approaches Owlbear and quietly tries to wake him, "Hey, buddy.."
Gill eyes Peppery cautiously and turns away heading down to Owlbear's normal area.
Gill laughs and waves his arm up and down as he does, "You mean you see Scourge's weakness to? Well perhaps we can be friends then. I am Gill and I come from the city of wonders." Gill extends his arm and offers his hand to her.
Gill nods and contemplates this for a moment. "Disciplinary seems to be the main roll of officers on this ship. I don't see the point where I came from those who policed wouldn't ever last long."
Gill grins and shrugs "It's an old secret I learned in Waterdeep, not much to it really. I approached you because I saw you for the first time last night. You are an officer yes? Like Scourge is?"
Gill grins and takes his coin but holds onto Sandara's sleeve for a moment. "As much as it pains me to do this take 50 of this and spread it amoungst yourself and the crew. Just make sure they know it's from Gill the Giant Slayer." Gill hands her 50 and keeps 50 for himself then nods and heads over to the lady sorcerer.
Gill wipes the sweat from his brow and laughs. "It's all in the technique". He grins at Rougar and turns to the crowd and exclaims "So now yous all sees, yer little cook can wield more than a roasted chicken!" Gill let's out a puny roar and throws his arms in the air. He then walks over to Owlbear and helps him up whispering in his ear "you did well friend I owe you big time."
Gill makes no waste of time and swings around with a blow aimed at his bad eye and shouts, "SLEEP"
Gill looks shocked for a moment and begins serious combat maneuvers. He hops around Owlbear gets close and unleashes another blow to Owlbear's blindside. When attacks and is close he says, "Play nice! fall!"
Gill jumps around Owlbear and tumbles behind his back unleashing the mightiest punch he can muster and letting out a battle scream.
Gill ignores the others and pulls Owlbear close to him, he nuzzles around his head faking a sniffing around his hair, he whispers, "You are my friend, let's play, you let me win we play with the piggies, I hit you you play dead." Gill looks deeply into Owlbear's eyes and raises his fists. "I be ready as ever me hearty."
Gill looks behind himself then back to the sack of gold. "My maties will back up the bag of shinies." Gill looks at Owlbear with a smile and holds out his hand to shake.
Gill's gaze shoots to Owlbear with at first an expression of sadness followed by a slow sliding grin and raise of an eyebrow. "Yes it is Kitty... Yes it is... I have something." Gill walks forward straight up to Owlbear and his captors and performs a silly bow. "Ey there govna' fear yer 'bout to lose 100 gold pretties. My kobold clan was known for giant slaying. I think I can punch 'im silly so long as allow me to shake his hand and smell his scent first. Clan tadition in punch ups ya see." Gill crosses his arms and waits for a reply.
When Gill is finished he mills about deck and tries to locate the female magical officer he saw the night before.
