Genkuro pockets the flasks with a nod, Let's head back to the hallway and try the other door. I'm anxious to collect the girls and get out of here as soon as we can...

Genkuro searches the rest of the room to make sure there are not hidden doors or items of interest.

Unfortunately, I believe we need to move on. We do not know how much time the girls have left, Genkuro says to the others in a hushed voice.

Turning back to the injured man, she tries her best to reassure him, Everything will be fine; fear not. We will return for you as soon as we can, and bring you to those who can properly tend to your wounds.

Genkuro kneels down and attempts to get to work with her limited skill.

I could still use your help, Korog, even if you don't have a knack for the healing arts. Same with everyone else. Maybe with enough assists, we could beat the DC? Also, if any of the divine folks can cast guidance, that would be helpful :)

Genkuro carefully loads Korog's wand into her spring-loaded wrist sheath in case it is needed later.

Looking over the woman's slumped body, Genkuro fights to urge to finish her off. Heal: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (9) + 0 = 9

Unsure whether the woman is dead or merely dying, Genkuro turns to the more divinely inspired in the party and asks, Should we tie her up and revive her? She might have useful information.

Genkuro fishes out Korog's wand from his gear and taps into it's magical reservoir.

In case you want that last point back, assume I used the wand one more time since it would a minimum of 2, but I won't spend the charge now just in case.

Handing back the wand, Genkuro uses her own magic to mend her wounds (last spell slot of the day).

Good point. Orphiel I think tops me in both combat and healing. So I'll let him choose whether to heal/stabilize Korog or attack, and I will do the opposite on my turn. Because I would rather everyone come out of this alive. :)

As an addition to my turn, could I use my move action to search Reginald for his wand? Assuming it is ok with him to take his wand and then use it on him next turn.

Genkuro 5-foot steps back towards Reginald and casts Cure Light Wounds.

Disgusting... I want to find who is responsible for this. We will save the children and make their captors pay for their deeds. Genkuro says coldly.

Tightening her grip on her blade, she follows Reginald over to the doors and attempts to throw it open.

Genkuro returns to the hallway and checks the door across the hall with her blade drawn.

About half a minute later, Genkuro comes running back into the room slightly out of breath from running all over Absalom.

Well... glad that was taken care of. And luckily without any embarrassing events occurring. She says with an air of bravado as she straightens out her robes and armor pretending she didn't just return from running for her life from a small dog.

She then begins to search the room and attempts to detect any magic present.

Genkuro does little to hide her obvious disgust as Orphiel willingly gives away money.

But once the topic turns back to something useful like lock-picking, she regains focus and pulls out her tools again, Yeah I suppose I could give it a go.

She grabs the other alchemist fire and slips it into her pack.

Following Korog's suggestion, she walks over to one of the doors and waits to give the half-orc the honor of opening it.

Genkuro furiously begins an elaborate display dancing with her blade and hacking into the creature that hurt her (red).

I am not here to make moral judgements on the people who live in this shadow plane. I have no more desire than you to see children made into slaves. Although we do not know what happens to these children for certain. Regardless, you have my word I will find a way to bring them back safely.

@csy A second level witch seems like it would be a good addition to the party as we are very melee combat heavy at the moment. Hexes and such should be a nice complement.

@Onelungbl, I would say either option is fine. Orphiel looks to be focused on unarmed attacks, so picking a Brutal Pugilist may be a slight redundancy, but not necessarily a bad thing.

I have a +9 to disable device, so that should help mitigate the lack of a rogue.
