Too bad you can't remove taunting from your own teammates... Sure you can mute the person but then what if they actually need your help later in the match, they are SoL... That is what makes LoL's player base so bad, not the cross team taunting but the internal taunting about how bad their own teammates are.

So playing since oct. of 2010 and losing more than 60% of my games and I'm supposed to be getting better with the way matchmaking keeps on putting me against people who are at least 2 "levels" ahead of me (referring to Platinum>Gold>Silver>Bronze listings)...

I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if I'm an example for something.

I'm sorry for everyone that didn't make it. All of our characters have a little bit of us in them and it's always difficult to keep it impersonal.

Best of luck in the games you are playing. 8)

Not your fault, it was just that when you applied there were so many people who had signed up and I started feeling that my submission was on the weak side. Just like my parents told me when I was getting angry at League of Legends: "Its their job to win just as much as it is for you."

I have since left the game because it pisses me off too much because I'm unskilled and am always on the losing team.

Well this is a very obscure game and we wanted to bring our best work to get into it. Good luck to all who make it and I'm with Voranathel on this one. It looks very interesting and I wish to watch it grow.

Good Job on making it!

Well an Hour and a half to type everything into a word or notepad document then copy-pasta into your profile page/spoilers here.

Good luck everyone! May your eidolons serve you well in the fight against (what the rune lords? I still haven't figured out the timeline to this game... I have tried to piece it together from the wiki but it just doesn't help without playing the AP's in order...)

We get one trait and one more once we graduate. For my trait I chose Talented so my character could use the Totem Spear to speak for 5 years of his life. As a Half-Elf I took the alternate racial trait to get an exotic weapon prof. so he wouldn't take any penalties on using the weapon.

On the topic of this particular game (not trying to step on anyones toes or anything mind you), By a show of hands, who among you already have a concept of where you are going with your Eidolon? I have read a few of the backgrounds and see that some have even decided on what it will look like and so on. I was just curious on how far you have planned out your characters and Eidolons in advance.

I personally want to "play it by ear" so to speak... I am really interested to see (if selected anyway) how my character grows through this campaign and was thinking of determining its form and abilities through RP experience. I am curious if anyone else had a similar idea of if you have a map of what you want by the end of the campaign.

Despite not knowing all of what Rob plans for the new options for the Eidolons, I have a general idea of what I'm going with mine.

All eventual Seven of them.

He he he he he he he he.

They're going to be skill focused; All will have minor combat ability, but mostly, they'll each focus on a different skill (or two, early on), and provide skill-monkey support. Not to mention, they'll be able to swarm an enemy to provide flanking or distractions. UNLEASH THE HORDE!

Just make sure they don't get hit by a cart...

I know my eidolon wont be a pouncer but that is about it. I'll decide when we learn what new custom eidolon bases we get.

Speaking of inspiration, Taeo Oneshape is (very loosely) inspired by Gene Wolfe's The Wizard Knight diptych. I love the picture he paints of an American boy out of his depths in the realms of Mythgarthr and Aelfrice.

Oh! And Hogwarts is all well and good but the Isle of Roke in LeGuin's Earthsea series will always have a special place in my heart as a school for young wizards.

Tristain Academy of Magic is what I'm thinking of for this campaign... It just feels so right for this campaign. Of course it is possibly going to be darker as the world is literally falling apart but hey I'd rather be at the school than anywhere else.

Well, great job on the back story. After reading it I started to regret by comparison because Annie's life was nothing like that. Well she does have amazing control over dark magic (as seen by forcing a giant bear on fire to do her bidding and staying in the form of a stuffed animal when not in use) but from what I gathered from the character sheet Patches is nothing like this. It is a manifestation from her mind that she somehow made real when her Uncle tried to do stuff.

Again great back story, and I can only assume that the other back stories are just as good as yours if not better. This is going to be a tough match to see who gets in.

Cassandra norst The Eclipse (changeling adoptee with teddy bear)

I'm guessing your character concept stemmed from Annie.

So the first world's concept of death is similar to Dragon Ball Z's... How convenient.

Oh well... As for DM Jelani's question my character is but a commoner trained in the use of the Totem Spear (+11 to wind instruments).

I just thought of something to do with the eidolons... Will there be a template to make the eidolon into a weapon similar to what was done in Soul Eater? If not then oh well but I thought that instead of fighting side by side with my eidolon it would be cooler if I literally fought with it in hand.

Can we modify our back stories to better fit the information leading up to the start?

I figured that I would be taking the Wild Caller archetype just because I'm a Half-Elf... It looks interesting and I can get some "free" evolutions!

EDIT: On second thought, I'll just make an angel and go normal summoner... Or something like Sebastian from Black Butler *trails off into deep thoughts*

I don't know about you guys but I was planing on fighting alongside my eidolon in battle... And for the record I know that the pouncing eidolon is the best thing in the world but I'm not going to make mine like that...

Added Hokuto into my back story.

I'll rework my back story to fit Hokuto in it, I'm pretty sure I know how to.

Good luck with the back story Azure!

Changed the back story (Complete overhaul...) Hope it meets your standards more so than before.

Oh and changed the feat and trait and personality...

Will fix the back story!

I thought it was take the age of the child race you want to be and add the max die number for Commoner... Thus a Half-Elf would be 14.
