Chronicle looks good. Thanks a lot for running this game! I have to say I extremely enjoyed how you incorporated just the smallest elements into your narrative. I have never had a GM go into such detail! Most of the time I just see a lot of cut and paste from what is written in the scenario as it is pretty obvious. Some GMs like to roleplay the NPCs. But you made it seem as if we were actually taking part in the story. Even if it is a bit more work, keep up your GMing style!!! Thanks again!

Gammer is a bit disappointed he did not get to set off his explosives against the demon but the team took it out and saved their fellow Starfinders and that's the important part.

As the briefing ends, Gammer responds to First Seeker Luwazi Elsebo, "My services are always available." He nods his head acknowledging Jadnura's statement.

To the rest of the group he says, "May your journeys always lead you safely home." He departs to get some food from the mess hall.

Gammer runs forward (move action) to the edge of the cloud while pulling out the pack of grenades/explosives from his Starfinder Backpack (part of move action). He also re-holsters the semi-auto pistol in his belt (standard action). He calls over his Comm, "You guys should back off so I can blow this demon up." Listening to the ongoing skirmish within the cloud, he eagerly awaits his teammates response.

Gammer moves (move action) over to the captives by avoiding the platform, drops his Thunderstrike Sonic Pistol (free action) in the middle one's lap, draws his Survival Knife (part of move action) and slices through the left most one's bonds (standard action). He holds the Survival Knife out so if the Starfinder wants to take it they can. "Get away to a safe distance and away from these fires. Don't step on those platforms and keep your eyes peeled for any reinforcements."

Thanks, I did not know or ever heard of that. I have never had a GM tell me or any other Operatives I've seen do the same otherwise. Thanks for letting it slide but I would like you to ponder this.

So by the definition above, someone without a weapon drawn cannot perform a trick attack. They would not be able to draw their weapon while moving then perform the trick attack? I would not be able to use the below rule with trick attack because that would break it down into a single move action?

If you have a base attack bonus of +1 or higher, you can combine drawing or sheathing a weapon or weapon-like object with moving up to your speed as a single move action.

The move actions you describe above are mostly listed as nonstandard modes of movement which are also covered under the "move action" and I can understand why you cannot combine those with trick attack. The simplest "move action" is moving up to your speed. Some full actions (such as the operative’s trick attack) allow you to move as well, which act as moving up to your speed.

With an Advanced Semi-Auto Pistol & Thunderstrike Sonic Pistol in each hand, Gammer determinedly runs forward, activates his jump jets and leaps to the first tier. He performs a trick attack & fires his Thunderstrike Sonic Pistol at the Green Jinsul.

Yeah, we have 2 advanced semi-auto pistols & 2 tactical rotating pistols. I looked at the wrong one. I looked at the Advanced version of the rotating pistols. The regular one instead has a range of 20', only holds 4 rounds and does 2d4 Dmg. If Ceolor would rather have the advanced semi-auto pistol, let me know.

Gammer quietly goes about distributing the gear after meticulously checking their condition. He goes about adjusting the Estex Suit III armor and attaching his jump jets and the black force field armor upgrade to it. He reprograms the 2 screamer grenades I into his explosives package and tries to attach the 20 cartridges of cold iron heavy weapon rounds as shrapnel. He attaches the detonator to his belt. He loads the advanced semi-auto pistol with cold iron small arm rounds and places it in his holster which housed his Azimuth Laser Pistol of which he stores in his backpack. He places any additional clips and frag grenades in his Efficient Bandolier.
"Everyone remember not to use the cold iron rounds on the Jinsul, only the Demon. I'll take first watch."

Ok, Ceolor gets the other advanced semi-auto pistol. If no one is going to claim the 20 cartridges of cold iron heavy weapon rounds, can Gammer incorporate them into his explosives pack as shrapnel to damage the Demon?

Yeah, the advanced semi-auto pistol has a range of 60' so that would be better than the 30' for the tactical rotating pistol. We don't know what type of abilities this thing has.

As far as casters, if not you then none in the group.

I vote for a) the spoilered loot drop & c) distracting the waves. Gammer could be a sniper and has a sniper weapon but would probably be better suited up close with his operative sneak attack and soak up/spread out some of the damage the demon dishes out.

He would ask for one or both of the tactical rotating pistols with 32 cartridges of cold iron small arm rounds, the 2 screamer grenades I and reprogram his Explosives package to include them. He would probably give the detonator to Tokno so he can press the button when told. It has a 500' range. Tokno should probably take the advanced semi-auto pistol since it has a greater range of 60' to stay at distance from the demon.

I do not think we should free the captives to help us. They might help some but die during the fight then what would be the point.

The Estex Suit III armor would be good for Gammer as well with his high Dex should give him a EAC:21/KAC:22. Don't forget we have the black force field armor upgrade as well and Gammer can put that in anyone's armor if someone wants to swap it out. If no one takes it, then he'll put it in his. Tokno can take the spell gem of lesser resistant armor and cast it on someone for added protection even though it's above his caster level. Just needs a caster level check. Gammer would also ask to take a serum of healing.

Looks like Darin could wield the tactical magnetar rifle.

We need to make sure to keep aware of and stay away from Ceolor & Staar so they can use their Solar Supernova ability.

He pats the pack full of explosives but goes on, "So the only reason you decided to help these unintelligent vermin is so that we can help you by overthrowing the current leader who kicked you out. How did this Dhurus come into so much power that he could overthrow all six of your Deathless leaders if he did not truly have the power that Khadrical provided him as His prophet? Do you know of any weaknesses he may have? Tell us more of your species and culture. If the Pact Worlds decide to help save your leaders in this endeavor, then negotiations between our two species must take place. Why is it you believe we need your help to escape this planet called Rax?"

Yeah, they do not have pricing for explosives but says they can be the same as a frag grenade for the same purpose. So that is what he purchased. During the trip through the Drift, Gammer took the two packs of 6 frag grenades/explosives and programmed them each to a detonator. It says you can connect a maximum of 6 to one detonator. The explosion from the blast radius should do damage to the structure. If you don't allow it then I'll retcon my action.

Did not know about or have a copy of Tech Revolution. Thanks for sharing. May have to create a character just for that.

Gammer points to the structural defects on the walls. "Looks like we can bring down the house on them." He sprints forward pulling out a backpack of explosives from his Starfinder Backpack, calling back to his team, "You may not want to get too close to them but don't let them beyond the edge of the walls." He has a large grin across his face.

He gets into position and throws the pack of explosives into the midst of them. Aiming for the Red X. I'm guessing it will take another move action to retrieve the detonator and depress the button.

As they keep traveling, Gammer continues to investigate the remnants of Jinsul culture, continues to examine the inoperative, derelict vehicles and tries to sneak up to observe the occasional Jinsul individual or group activities in the distance.

Sounds good to me. Tokno gets the Vesk Brigadine III. It is Light Armor +10/+10 with +5 Max Dex & 2 Upgrade Slots. Staar gets the Deflective Reinforcement Armor Upgrade. She gets DR 5/—. In addition, her armor check penalty is reduced by 2 when she attempts an Acrobatics check to escape.

If the scenario doesn't give details then is it meant to just be salvaged for scrap or treasure credits? Or can we determine that there are enough pieces from multiple suits to make one good suit as stated in the description you gave? If that is the case, can we just modify it per the CRB Pg. 196 Adjusting Armor?
If you get secondhand armor that wasn’t tailored for you, you can have it adjusted, which requires a successful Engineering check (DC = 10 + 2 × the armor’s level). Alternatively, you can spend 10% of the armor’s purchase price to have it adjusted by a professional—typically an armorsmith or anyone with multiple ranks in Engineering. There is no time stated for adjusting armor from what I could find.

As the others are befriending the Jeskral, Gammer inspects the gear and armor on the Jinsul.

He collects the gear and armor pieces and says, "This military regalia could be worth up to 1,200 credits to Society scholars studying the Jinsul hierarchy. These pieces could be reassembled into functional armor better than anything we are currently wearing but would take me about an hour to reassemble it into something functional. Alternately, I could remove and attach the Deflective Reinforcement and would require only about 10 minutes ."

If we do not want to take the 1 hour time for the armor repair and no one wants the deflective reinforcement, he starts to fiddle with the armor pieces while everyone else is currently engaged. When we leave, he will just stow the pieces and continue working on them in his spare time each time we take a break.

@GM Nomadical, I'm guessing it would be around DC:27 Engineering check for reassembling the alien tech armor & 1 hour of time. For transferring an upgrade, I did not find any reference to checks. It just stated individuals with multiple upgrades on hand can swap them out as needed in 10 minutes.

Surprise Round Gammer curses under his breath at the distracting snow/ash as he wipes it away.

Gammer records everything they find in his PCU and takes recordings. He double checks to see if there is any signal but doubts it. "Someone or something looks to be manipulating and using this storm for their own purposes. We better keep a vigilant eye out continuing forward. Is there some sort of mystical spell that could be used for scrying?" He hopes someone from his team can answer. He continues observing and inspecting the jinsul remnants and technology, recording and noting everything they encounter.

During the trip, Gammer spends time examining his equipment to make sure they are in a ready & working condition. He spends time programming the Detonators he purchased to the Flak Grenades/Explosives. He helps out the First Seekers as much as possible and do what is requested.

As the dropship passes through the cloud line and is struck, he unbuckles, jumps up and rushes to the cockpit. Climbing into the seat beside Darin, he also starts turning knobs and dials trying to reroute power from any fried displays to working ones. He grabs the controls and tries to stabilize the ship.

Gammer has Medical Expert which allows him to use the Medicine skill in conjunction with a medpatch or sprayflesh to treat deadly wounds as a full action (DC 25). Normally it takes 1 minute to treat deadly wounds. He can do it in Combat if necessary and can use it for treat disease, treat drugs or poison tasks as well.

What type of resources and equipment will be required and provided beyond the normal?"
