Gadicus strides forward confidently, drawing his power as he does, his footsteps kicking up small motes of dust as a heavy drum beat seems to build, the air crackling with sound and power. When he stops moving he throws out a hand, fingers splayed and screams sharply, aiming his blast of noise at the lead enemy.
Gadicus walks over to Vanni and brushes some dirt off the mans armour before patting him on the arm. "Well fought friend. Lucky you didn't get sucked down in to that pit hey!" He grinned before glancing over at Scragatha. "Now now, who is offering up kisses and didn't offer me one? Be still my broken heart!" he sighed dramatically before laughing. "Skeletons and now lizards, what a strange quest we are on my friends!"
Gadicus turns away from the enemies and shifts his focus to Sebastian, calling on the same spell he cast before on Vanni, imbuing the man with just a hint of strength and good luck.
Watching the magical energy sink in to his target he shoulders his bow before drawing his rapier from his waist and shifting his focus back to the Kobold. "Give up friend, you have nowhere to go!"
Seeing Vanni stumble and begin to slip in to the pit Gadicus draws all of his power calling on the gods and all the luck he could muster. Gadicus sent his power coursing through Vanni to aid his attempt to escape the trap.
Seeing his magical aura settle around Vannis shoulders, he splits his attention towards the enemies before launching another stone at the lizard.
Gadicus glances at Scragatha and nods his head towards the entrance, before beginning to creep forward, keeping his eyes peeled for any trouble.
Gadicus keeps moving till he reaches the entrance or till an arrow whizzes past him or hits him. Focused on his task, the little Halfling is dedicated to getting them off this ledge and in to this building.
Gadicus laughs softly and shakes his head, "Please call me Gadicus, Mr Thorn sounds like a vigilante or something, not a lowly musician. Your suggestion is sound Vanni and with you all at the front I feel confident we can approach anything safely!" As they begin to arrange themselves Gadicus unstinting his bow from his back before stringing it and readying himself.
Gad stands stating up at the Tower with a small froen crossing his face. Not an ideal approach for such a small unit when it is not specifically built for stealth. He sighed inwardly as he tapped his lip in thought. "Yes there is too much loud armour for us to be anything other than direct in this approach. And while we could send out a smaller scouting party ahead of us, I am loathe to suggest us splitting the group with so few of us. I think the only thing for it is for us to advance along the path and keep our eyes out for any traps. Those of us with ranged capabilities should perhaps focus on that while our more heavily armoured fellows may wish to prepare themselves for a rush. What say you all?"
Gad relaxes, his power crawling back to where it came from, deep down in to the core of his being. Taking a deep calming breath, he straightens his clothing, before taking a look around.
"I'm in top form Sebastian but you should look to the others yes, thank you!" He strolls over towards the skeletons, narrowing his eyes as he pushes the toe of his boot around in the remains. "Skeletons this close to civilization is worrying. I hope this isn't the start of something more sinister to effect the town!"
Gadicus strides forward woth purpose, power bleeding from his eyes in black waves, runes swirling about his wrists and down in to his palms, as he reaches out for another stone, sending it whistling towards another skeleton. ◆
"Don't let up, push forward if you are able, fall back if you are injured!"
Gadicus' face sets in a serious frown as he fans out to the side of his compatriots, moving towards the skeletons as he awakens the power within himself. His eyes begin to glow softly as he reaches out mentally, wrapping that power around a nearby rock before mirroring Vanni and sending it whistling towards an undeads head.
Ged smiles brightly at Harsk before nodding towards Dinardin and Sebastian, "We have a mailed fist of Iomedae and a dedicated of Irori in our party Harsk, we have our own ghost busting holy men." He salutes both men, hand over heart. "Many many thanks for all the information dear sir and for the pleasant conversation but my friends are right, it is time we were away. Right then one and all, let us go see some ghosts and find some books. Marching orders I believe. Eyes sharp and blades sharper still!"
"No no Vanni my friend, no need to worry. Cheese is what we call in the adventuring business a luxury. We would use the cheese as part of a plan to sweeten the deal. Though I do find the idea of a sweet cheese to be absolutely appalling!" Gadicus winked at the man before downing the last drop of wine in his cup and beginning to pack up. "If we had more time I would say find the cheese and the sausage but for now I think we should to our task at hand. We will speak with the man first and if he refuses to impart his knowledge well then we can grease that pig when we come to it!"
"So what I am hearing is we go speak to Mister Strikmund, perhaps over a couple bottles of wine, and we should find what we are looking for. My thanks Mayor Andares, we appreciate the lead. Is there anything we can do for you or the town while we are present? Pathfinders are always here to help after all." He wastes a dazzling smile on the woman, before taking another sip of wine. "Cheese is a perfect idea Scragetha," he smiled brightly, nodding enthusiastically. "Maybe a wheel of Chelaxian Blue? Or a nice nutty Sandpoint Stilton?" He frowned in thought for a moment before sighing,"Erastils Eyes if we could find some smoked Ustulavian sausage this would be a real party!"
Gadicus gave Scragatha a smile and bowed his head to her in thanks before flourishing his hand over the vial and making it disappear up his sleeve. "I thank you for thinking of me my dear, I shall certainly try this concoction when we retire to our rooms later." His gaze shifted from the young Goblin woman to the tall brooding twin shadows. 'So much muscle in this little group of ours, I won't even have to carry my own weight, they can easily do it for me!' He thought with a sly grin, taking another sip of wine.
Tightening the straps on his pack Gadicus makes his way through the streets slowly, his sights set on the Villa. He had faded away from the others when they entered the town, choosing to retire to a nearby water trough to wash the road from his hands and face. The life of a Pathfinder was exciting and life on the road was thrilling but he did not need to smell and look like he slept in the dirt, not when he was being entertained in a Villa. Arriving to the veranda a beat after Vanni and Scrag had spoken, Gad clears his throat politely, before bowing to the Mayor. "Gadicus Aurelius Thorn at your service sir," He straightened, a warm smile crossing his face. "Forgive my late arrival, I felt it necessary to tidy myself before our meeting." With his introduction complete Gad lay his pack and lute carefully by his chair before hopping up on to the seat and taking a sip of wine.
