...But the half orc has no problem avoiding her attacks. - - - The dwarf servant of Torag heals his friends. channel: 3d8 ⇒ (7, 4, 2) = 13 - - - The orc with the staff slashes at the Demon statue twice. staff: 1d20 ⇒ 20 damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Really sorry for the delay, guys. I'm getting home kinda late for the past couple weeks.
Game Master 20
The stone maiden seems almost completely unaffected by Eitylen's dagger... The weapon's blade barely scratching her. "GOTTA DO BETTER THAN THAT, KID! TRY A PICK AX! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" the narrator shouts. The audience once again seems to enjoy his snark. Round 4
Game Master 20
"HEALING?! WHAT KIND OF SISSY TACTICS IS THIS?! MAN UP AND STAB SOMEONE!" shouts the booming voice, causing the audience to laugh. The scimitar-wielding human approaches the demon statue and slashes at it twice... Scimitar: 1d20 ⇒ 12 damage: 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
...But his second hit can't pierce the demon's stone skin. - - - Round 4

I thought Nicos was mixing up character/player names. - - - Well... In any case, I think I won't have to stay too late at work today, so hopefully I'll be able to post before collapsing of exhaustion on my bed. XD
Game Master 20
Fort: 3d20 ⇒ (20, 12, 3) = 35 The dwarf and the orc easily resist the sound burst from Eitylen's bomb, but the elf does reflexively cover his ears as if they were ringing painfully. - - - Having its sword taken away doesn't discourage the stone maiden, although severely damaged, she strikes with her fists. fist: 1d20 ⇒ 14 damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
She hits the half-orc once, although her second attack does come close... - - - The dwarf strikes the demon with his mace. mace: 1d20 ⇒ 20 damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
The strike causes a painful wound and pushes Jaazkara 10 ft back. He strikes hard, but not as hard as it seemed at first... - - - He's followed by his half-orc friend, who attacks with his staff. staff: 1d20 ⇒ 4
While his first attack fails, the second one strikes with resounding impact. Still, as usual, the statue shows no sign of pain or discomfort. - - - The elf, seeing his friends attacking the statue, decides to follow their lead. longbow: 1d20 ⇒ 13 damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 longbow: 1d20 ⇒ 17 damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
The archer quickly puts 3 arrows in the air, although only 2 of them find their mark. - - - The stone demon looks at them with no emotion, and creates lightning from his hand, which passes through the half-orc, then the dwarf, and finally, through the elf. lightning: 8d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 4, 5, 4, 6, 4) = 36
Only the elf seems to react in time to avoid at least part of the damage. Still The dwarf seems mostly unaffected... - - - Finally, the stone warrior strikes at Jaazkara with unmatched strength! ax: 1d20 ⇒ 20 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Yikes!
After all of that, the crowd roars! And the booming narrator simply laughs, obviously enjoying the show. - - -
Round 3
Game Master 20
Oh, yeah... I forgot to mention: All damage you took so far is nonlethal damage. Fort: 3d20 ⇒ (16, 18, 8) = 42 Brother Cyrus' spell doesn't seem to bother much the three strangers... But it does bring Brother Cyrus' to their attention. - - - The scimitar-wielding human approaches his allies and enters a combat stance... readying his blade for a sudden strike. Just a moment later, the statue in front of him glows, moves and speaks! "Leave my kingdom!" the stone demon says... Prompting the human to strike! scimitar: 1d20 ⇒ 9 A valiant effort, but the demon blocks his blade at the last moment. - - - - A millisecond later, sector 6 of the stage ignites with wavy energy... It has no visible effect. Round 3
Uh... You guys do realize you're unnecessarily fighting on two fronts, right?
Game Master 20
Sorry for the delay... I had no internet in my house for a few days. :( - - - The stone maiden silently raises her sword and brings it down on Frederick. stone sword: 1d20 ⇒ 9 damage: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
She lands the first slash, but misses the follow up... Although just barely. - - - The dwarf invokes a prayer to Torag and approaches the demon statue. He's followed by the staff-wielding orc, who seems to be concentrating on something... And the elf archer, who takes the opportunity to shoot and arrow at Eitylen "Sorry, cousin... But this should hurt less than the statues' sword." arrow: 2d20 ⇒ (9, 13) = 22 damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 - - - The stone warrior charges forward and slashes with its great ax at Jaazkara... Ax: 1d20 ⇒ 7 ...Although surprised by the behemoth's speed, Jaazkara still manages to duck under the blade. - - - Meanwhile a magic glow lights the eyes of the demon statue. Round 2
Game Master 20
Do keep in mind that it's attack 1-> confirm 1; attack 2-> confirm 2... As established in the campaign's houserules and guidelines doc, so that would be 1 critical confirmed (19 & 19) and one threatened but not confirmed (18 & 4). This was decided precisely so that you can be sure I'm not trying to cheat against you by placing the rolls in whatever order would be most beneficial to the NPCs. However, in the name of fairness the edge cuts both ways, so that's a single critical for Frederick. - - - Anyway... Next is a long post because I have lots of characters to roll for, so I'll do it later, since I'm somewhat busy right now.
Game Master 20
"EVERYONE IS OUT AND READY TO CONQUER THEIR KINGDOMS! BUT THAT IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE! NO ONE KNOWS WHAT CALAMITIES WITH STRIKE DOWN THE LAND! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" speaks the booming voice! 1d8 ⇒ 6 1d2 ⇒ 2
The whole floor of "Sector 6" of the arena starts glowing... Building up arcane energy... - - - Meanwhile, the Stone Maiden in Sector 1 starts moving and stares angrily at Frederick... "Leave my Kingdom!" she says, a split second before raising her sword and shield. Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 The same thing happens to the Stone Warrior in sector 5... Except its Jaazkara whom he threatens! "Leave my Kingdom!" he says, as he grips his ax with both hands.
"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT RESPECTING THE SOVEREIGNITY OF OTHER KINGDOMS, GUYS! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" the narrator seems to be having more fan than the roaring audience! - - - All done!:) Round 2
Game Master 20
You can move your own token. I don't have any opinion on where you wanted to move, I merely pointed out it's quite far from your allies and quite close to your opponents. In any case, even if I did dislike where you moved, as long as you're not breaking any rule... You can do it. My opinion is irrelevant.
Game Master 20
Apparently, Frederick didn't move... Okay. You hear the other team talking about the arena in front of him... You can't make it out very well, but you do understand they are quite confused about the competition... "...in the abyss is this?" "...think they got a crown too?" "...a snake? Enough is enough! I've had it with these motherf+&@ing..." "Better than last week's job." And so on... The dwarf priest casts a spell and reluctantly takes a few steps forward... He's followed by his orc friend, who touches his forehead with the tip of his staff, seemingly concentrating on something, and the elf with the longbow, who draws his arrows, ready to loosen it in a moment's notice. Aaaand.... Here we go! Once you all put your amulets on, a ghostly silver crown appears on the head of 1d4 ⇒ 2 Eitylen. Kozu doesn't seem to notice it, though... At the same time, a faint light blue-ish glow covers your bodies and weapons. (Spellcraft 20 to find out what exactly it does) "All right, then... Let's get started." says Kozu, before he walks towards the wall opposed to the door and knocks on it 6 times in an specific rhythm... You start hearing voices... These voices grow louder and louder, into shouts. And the wall starts turning more and more transparent, until it eventually disappears completely from sight... Revealing a large "arena". You see a large hexagonal hall split in six blue and red triangles, four of which have large statues in them... A maiden with a sword, a demon with glowing hands, a coiling serpent and an ax-bearing dwarf... All of them bear copper crowns on their head. At the very center of the hall, at the top of 30 ft-tall green "tower" covered in ropes, lies a single table with a golden crown. At the opposite side of the hall, you see a group of four warriors, just as diverse and surprised as your own party... An robed orc with a staff, a dwarf carrying a hammer and wearing armor with the holy symbol of Torag, a human with loose clothing and a scimitar and an elf with a longbow and spiked gauntlets. All around the arena, you see many sailors, tourists and wealthy-looking people shouting and cheering! A booming voice then speaks loud enough to cover up all the noise, as if its owner were all around you. "THE PLAYERS ARE FINALLY READY, DEAR GUESTS!" says the mysterious announcer. "HOLD ON TO YOUR SEATS!" "WELCOME TO BATTLE ROULETTE! THE RULES ARE SIMPLE! EACH TRIANGLE IS A KINGDOM! EACH KINGDOM IS PROTECTED BY ITS LORD! DEFEAT THE LORD OR STEAL ITS CROWN, AND THE KINGDOM IS YOURS! IF YOU HAVE AT LEAST THREE KINGDOMS, YOU CAN BECOME THE KING! HOLD THE GOLDEN CROWN FOR A MINUTE AND THE WHOLE REALM IS YOURS! BUT BEWARE! A KING HAS MANY FOES! AND ANY KINGDOM CAN BE STRUCK BY DISASTER!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! GOOOOOO!!!"
Game Master 20
Kozu sighs heavily... "Tsc... Knowing Goldbeard, probably some insanity with moving floors or trapdoors... That man has an ingenious mind and little restraint. I'm half convinced he runs this place for entertainment, rather than profit... Although eh certainly doesn't mind the gold." he says, rolling his eyes. "Now... You all put your amulets on and I'll send the signal that you're ready."

Eitylen wrote: Eitylen *sighs* and takes an amulet - What crowns and what adversary? "Whatever crowns you see, from whatever adversaries are playing against you, I suppose..." Frederick Forrsythe wrote:
"Not sure... Every game has different ones, but they all look the same... They are meant to 'keep things safes'. This way, you can play without holding back, making the games more exciting to the audience... And more profitable to the Galleon." "I don't know the specifics of tonight's games... It's always a surprise. Captain Goldbeard says suspense makes everything more thrilling. Considering how many people gather to watch and participate... He appears to be right."

Stupid map drawing tools... Sometimes I hate Roll20. -.-' Zoku leads you to a blue door where a bald keeps guard. "What's your business here?" he asks with a hostile tone. "They're here to play. Captain Sweetdew is their sponsor." Kozu replies... The bald man scratches his chin. "I thought they were dead." "Those were the lat ones... These ones are still alive, as you can see." Kozu speaks calmly. "Grumph... Okay, then..." the bald man says before opening the blue door. "Thank you for your comprehension. Kozu replies one last time. You follow him through the door, which takes you to an windowless room with blue walls and furniture. On top of a blue table, 4 blue amulets rest. Eitylen:
Once the door closes behind him, Eitylen realizes he can no longer hear the sound of waves crashing against the ship or the voices of any of the many people you met on your way here. In fact, he can no longer hear anything outside this room. The others don't seem to notice it, apparently more focused on Kozu's words "Grab those amulets... You'll need them." Kozu says without emotion. "The game is simple... All you have to do is collect crowns and get more points than your adversary... A copper crown is worth 1 point, a silver crown is worth 2 and a golden crown is worth 4."
Game Master 20
"Well... We are on a gambling house. All you have to do is make enough money to buy my little trinket. In fact, I know the perfect little game for you... I'm sure you'll do well! It's more skill than luck, although luck never hurts." Melissa then turns to the green-haired man in black-and-white robes... "Kozu! Why don't you take them to the blue room?" "Are you sure?" he replies, solemnly... "Sure, why not?" she replies, smiling. "They are new here... We should show them the ropes, after all." "If you say so..." he answers. "Follow me if you want a chance to earn your gold."
Game Master 20
"That's big talk from a man covered in magic gear... How much is that armor worth? I bet you're all carrying a small fortune in enchanted equipment... Have you ever freely given any of it?" she says nonchalantly. "Here, gold talks. Now, this being an unique item. I wager it's rather valuable... Bur you guys brought me honey buns, so I'll give you a discount... I say 90,000gp is a fair deal. What do you say?"
