Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that the game this saturday has been canceled. As we already have some planned absences, I also have some plans for thanksgiving. The next couple weeks will be rough as far as getting a session in and I understand that. Once we get past the holidays we can get back into our regular swing of things. I'll be posting the postpone on roll20 so you can always check in and see if our game will be on on any given weekend.

That said, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I'll be seeing you all when this holiday stuff has calmed down a bit.

Are you allowing the Unchained classes? Namely rogue. The character I have in mind is Dervish Dancer Bard/Enlightened Paladin with some Unchained Rogue mixed in.

Also, kinda just realized that our next session day falls on Halloween. If anyone thinks they might not be able to make it, please let me know I totally understand. Starting a game with the holidays coming up is a bit rough lol, but we'll get through. :)

You've just felled the bandits, presumably responsible for the attack on Lady Argentea's caravan. The snow and cold closes in and sinks deeper into your bones as time goes on. Previous efforts failing, there seems a large lack of efficient shelter. The time has come to decide, to continue the search, or trod on in hopes of finding an answer.

Only time will tell, and as time goes on you look to those traveling with you for courage and a plan of action.

So if you guys would like to continue RP in the tavern, start thinking about backup characters and use those as our current adventurers are out in the field.

We'll be having an additional member joining our party. He'll be playing Locke's animal companion for a chance to learn more about pathfinder and how to play.

Everyone should now have a link to the game on Roll20. If you haven't already, please make sure I have your sheets and pictures for your tokens before the game starts, the earlier the better.

Now that the party is assembled, take the time to discuss each other's class and role in the group. Make sure I have access to your character sheets as well. You can set it up as Miro and Einrik have done, linking a sheet on mythweavers in your profile, or you can set it up stat block style on an alias.

Also if everyone could, let me know here what times on the weekend, friday-sunday in EST that you are available to play.

For those of you that weren't chosen, please feel free to continue role-playing with us here on the recruitment tab. If ever the time comes that we need a replacement, I will look to you first. This tavern is now and will be a part of our game, and your characters too. Our party may come back from their adventures with great tales to tell indeed, or perhaps in search of aid. I may even bring a little mini-adventure for those in the tavern at a later date.

anyways, is there any preference on wich character should i play? (like "there are too many arcane, and no divine, go with inquisitor" or "there's not enough frontliners, go barbarian/monk" or something like that)

Pick whichever one for now, should you be picked we'll sort out specifics later.

Any paizo classes are fine. Including Summoner.

By the way, i'm RPing this as having a wolf pet but it'd be super cool to have some sort of bird or another. Havent been on the PF scene in a long time and aren't sure if there's things i can do to make that a more viable option. Of course, flavor-wise, all is ok, but i hate being dead weight when the going gets tough lol. Any suggestions?

Some good options for a birdlike companion include an eagle, hawk or an owl.

Hey guys. An update, turns out we'll be taking in two players for a max party size of 5. One of the party has an eccentric schedule, so he may be absent on occasion. For those of you who have character concepts in mind, please feel free to role-play here. Setting is a generic tavern, busy and bustling.

We're also looking to begin play around the 24th of this month. Exact date and time will depend on interest.

So. A question for the GM is. Do you accept our applications based off of like, the OOC person or are you looking for a character sheet from me before I get officially accepted?

A bit of both. I want to make sure each applicant is someone who will fit in with the party as I want this to be a positive experience for everyone. A sheet isn't necessary quite yet, but it will play a part when the time comes.

I'd like to also add, this campaign will be conducted via Roll20 and we'll be utilizing skype as well. Downtime will be spent here on the forums for a sort of campfire RP time between sessions. Our time zone is EST and will likely be playing on the weekends. (Fri-Sun)

I'm interested. Also are you okay with characters who may have a connection with one of the winter witches we meet in the campaign? I'm taking the failed winter witch apprentice trait so I wanted to make sure.

Not a problem, in fact I encourage it. :)

Sorry for the confusion folks. As I have a party of three already it is likely we'll be searching for just the one player. Party makeup is still in the works. For those interested please feel free to simply dot interest for now, and submit your characters backgrounds and for a bit of fun and showcasing, roleplay with others who have done so in a tavern setting. My current players may jump in and join the fray at their discretion.

There's no start date yet as I'm still in preparation. But here are the creation rules.

Level 1
Point Buy: 15
HP: Max 1st level. 1/2+1 for the remainder.
Traits/Drawbacks: One regular trait, plus one campaign trait. No Drawbacks. No Rich Parents/Chosen Child.
Races: Core only.
Classes/Archetypes: All. Prestiges are fine.
Feats: No Leadership until 7th level.
Alignment: Any good.
Wealth: Average for class, or roll.
No 3rd party material.

You're encouraged to begin play without cold-weather gear, and to do your best to separate player knowledge from character knowledge. Keep in mind, it is Summer in Heldren.
