Current map

Khartelosch, Ibrah,Verrin and Gorrim are all unaware of what is happening in the antechamber.

Current map

5 battered disciples remain in the altar room while Silvash and Thaane struggle in the antechamber.

Current map

Ibrah cuts one disciple completely in half with the glaive, catches the second one in the leg and then kicks him backwards 5 feet. He feels a rush of strength as he prepares to finish his foe.

Go ahead and take your turn.

Current map

Verrin stops fighting long enough to cast Bull Strength on Ibrah.

Current map

I'm studying this because in my sketch of the situation, Silvash is not within the cone.

Current map

Ibrah,Verrin, Gorrim, Khartelosch.

Current map

Both monks flanking Ibrah attack with scimitars.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
attack from left: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21

Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

Ibrah, unless your spells bump you past AC 21, you take 29 hp of damage from the blades.

Current map

With fierce visage and claws raised, the devil turns to Thaane and thrusts his barbed tail at him.

Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (8) + 18 = 26
Damage : 3d8 + 9 ⇒ (8, 2, 3) + 9 = 22

The devil's tail pierces the chest of Thaane, who is critically wounded. As the tail retracts, black acidic blood sprays forth upon the tail of the beast causing it to screech in pain.

Current map

The priest turns, quickly thrusting his hand towards the side of him that he was last attacked on and immediately a blast of freezing cold are tears through the room in a cone towards the side wall after the sylph.

The room was circular, so if you were to the left of him, make a saving throw versus cone of cold.

Current map

Before the next round, I need to know where you, Silvash are in relation to the Priest because of his next attack.

Current map

Will post late tonight.

Current map

Silvash, I have to wait on your other attack to proceed as it may change the tide.

Current map

Go ahead and take your other attack, Silvash.

doesn't Silvash have about 10hp left right now?

-Posted with Wayfinder

Yes, Silvash has ten hp left. Apologies. Silvash, you can take your turn. KHARTELOSCH, that disciple's attack does miss you. Forget the damage.

Current map

The blast rips his breastplate off, but the priest is still standing although somewhat haunched.

Ibrah,Gorrim,then Khartelosch

Current map

From the tip of its lashing tail to the serrated features of its fang-filled visage, this fiery-eyed sentinel bristles with barbs.

The priest commands the creature to attack Silvash.

The creature whips it's spiked tail around the small room sending it strait towards Silvash.

Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33

Damage: 3d8 + 9 ⇒ (8, 7, 5) + 9 = 29

Silvash is removed from the fight as the devil's tail thrusts through his chest, I'm paling him briefly before pulling it out and watching his body drop to the floor.

Current map

Verrin is fighting fiercely with his comrades against the disciples, though somewhat injured.

Current map

Ibrah, let's wait until we finish this encounter and level up before we add your friend.

As we return, Silvash and Thaane are in the antechamber with the evil priest and summoned devil.

Khartelosch, Ibrah, Verrin and Gorrim are fighting about 6-7 disciples while three nearly dead dwarves are chained to a wall. There is a deep pit created by Gorrim currently open in the floor.

I will post actions tonight in last initiative order.

Current map

Waiting for everyone to check in, then I will recap and begin. Ifor we make it out alive, we can level up.

Current map

Ok. We'll start back up on June 1. Thanks for your patience.

Current map

Ok. I will post again on May 21st or 22nd. Thanks.

Current map

This is a really good group. I think a hiatus would be best. If you guys want to wrap it up, I will try and post when I can. Just let me know.

Current map

Khartelosch. You are right. I have been working until 9 or 10 p.m. almost every night. I come home and go to bed. I apologize that it has trailed off. I never expected to get this busy. I had every intention on getting to level 20.

Current map

I'll take Verrin's turn and Khart, you take your turn, then the next round starts over with devil attacking Silvash.

Current map

Ibrah seriously wounds one of the monks, but misses the other two who are now flanking him, ready to reretaliate.

Current map

I will be out of range for any wifi service until Sunday. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Current map

Silvash's rapier pierces the ribs of the priest. Just behind his leather breastplate. He screams in pain then commands the demon to attack Silvash.

Current map

Ibrah:
Khartelosch draws three toward Ibrah who are eligible for AOOs. I have to roll for the remaining monks to avoid trip vine.

Current map

Thaane stands transfixed while the summoning of the devil is complete and the priest is coming out of full concentration from this activity.

Who has disturbed me? the demon inquires.

Servant, make haste and slay my foes. In service to Zon Kuthon. the priest exclaims.

Repeat order. Silvash, you are up.

Current map

Khartelosch misses his attack, but the badly injured Half-Orc forward rolls away from the crowd drawing three monks after him and into the waiting reach of the ready Ibrah.

Current map

Verrin makes another attack on the monk he nearly killed.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14

Verrin's flash of temple swords finish off another monk as the count drops to 8.

Current map

After the next level which you will achieve upon the resolution of this encounter.

Current map

Miraculously, Silvash goes undetected as he approaches the priest concentrating on the summoning of a devil. Thaane is mesmerized by the seen as he appears to be in some sort of trance.

Khartelosch continues to get pummeled by 4 of the nine remaining monks. One, severely maimed by Verrin studies the tiefling as the monk grips his bleeding chest. The monks who only detected Khartelosch are starting to recognize that there are other traitors amongst them.

Ibrah finds himself now exposed inside the fray with a deep pit on his right and a melee to the left and front of him. Of course he could lead the retreat, but that has never been his style.

Ibrah. There is a pit ten feet to your right. You are on the edge of the brawl as their attention was drawn towards you as you raised the orb.

Current map

Ok. Skip Verrin's turn for now and act. I will take his turn and we will continue.

I'm enjoying the game. And I'd be happy to continue, also with fresh blood if we need it.

I hope all's well with you; I don't recall any reason for the last break, which you're of course entitled to keep to yourself. I'm just not sure how likely it is to repeat.

Some kind of viral infection worked its way through the entire family.

Current map

Ok. I guess we lost Verrin then.

The skill mechanic for this and Pathfinder and SW saga work the same. My goal is to simplify certain mechanics a bit.

Gilthanis wrote:
GM I am still hung up on how the skills work, can you help me understand?

Have you played Pathfinder before?

Current map

It is my fault that the campaign has slowed down, but if no one really wants to continue, we can finish this encounter or stop altogether. If you want to continue, we can of course keep playing.

Current map

Verrin, Ibrahim, Gorrim, then Khart.

Current map

Player check. Is everyone still interested in playing?

Electricity is very hard to find unless one happens upon a generator and some fuel.

Current map

I'm going to have to tighten up this campaign on my end. That will mean announcing rounds and recaps. It is getting difficult tracking so many npcs, so make sure to deduct damage promptly.

Current map

Silvash and Thaane witness the summoning of some sort of other-worldly devil in the back room by the priest.

A monk attacks Verrin for harming his "brother."

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

The scimitar finds its mark and brings a first wound to the swordsman.

Khartelosch is attacked again by the group nearest to him.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Damage to Khart: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Ibrah still largely blends in with the confusion. This scimitar-wielding monk has lost sight of him for now.

Current map

Verrin goes hard with a flurry of blows at the nearest monk.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Although the first sword misses it's mark, the second one connects with the sternum to slice a deep gash across the chest of the monk he was facing.

Khartelosch succeeds in pushing his adversary screaming into the pit.

Ibrah is ready for battle.

What roles need to be filled still? We are co-creating the WW3 variant yes? So we can talk about factions and countries and potential foreigners inside of America as PC's?

In need of science and expert classes.

What are your ideas?

If I have to, I can DMPC Hera, but we still need at least two more!

This is perfect! Take how many knives you want. the rifle that you took from the raiders and 1d20 rifle shells.

Hmmmm...ummmm....bookworm science type.

Str 9
Dex 16
Con 12
Int 13+2=15
Wis 13
Cha 8

We need the science types. Engineers for creating machines/weapons and biologists for heals and studying what transformation of flora fauna have occurred.

the Great War happened in 2035. We are 20 years after that.
