Backstory:
Fujiwara Kimiko is in the port town Korvasa by order of her Daimyo. She was here to forward some diplomatic messages to the local law enforcement due to trade agreements. She completed her task quite easily however it does not look she will leave as easily, the town is going into an upheaval. She will not stand idly by as innocent people die for around her.
Originally her brother was tasked with diplomatic missions to Korvasa. The siblings are part of a major noble household in Nagajor, their family has served the great Naga's for generations. Each clutch is hatched and raised specifically for this purpose. Her brother Fujiwara Taka however was disgraced when he was in Korvasa last. Taka was thrown in prison for a crime he did not commit, he was accused of murder of a local. This Tarnished his reputation as diplomat and brought him great shame, to the chagrin of his sister he wanted to commit seppuku ever since. Taka like Kimiko is also a Samurai and never wishes dishonour on himself or his family. In truth Taka has been framed by Gaedrenn, as the Nagaji had talks of becoming enforcer's in Korvasa. Gaedrenn knows this will be a big problem as they can hunt warm blooded creatures fairly well so his operations might be ruined. Thus he set up the murder to incarcerate Fujiwara Taka. It succeeded and set back talks with Korvasa government back months.
Taka thankfully has not committed seppuku as he has been without weapon since that fateful day. Kimiko is here under the guise of a diplomat but she mostly wants her brother's name cleared. She wants him out of prison more than anything. Kimiko understands his feelings about honourable suicide but she wouldn't know what to do if he dies. So she is staking her all on this.
