Sad to see it go....but I guess we need to....enjoyed playing with all of you and hope to do so again...if anyone is running the second book, I would love to continue on with Fjori....

Fjori moves away from the group, back towards the grindy queen, and repeatedly kicks the corpse, cursing in Skald the entire time!

Fjori quickly cuts the beast open to free Bart.

How far am I from the creature that has swallowed Bart? I will move towards it as fast as I can. Once there I will attack (stab) with my cutlass.

I am also choosing this creature as the target of my Freebooter's bane, giving everyone a +1 to hit and damage.

I was using it to try and deflect any AoO the creature might get for reach, so I could get close and attack, but it I can get the same effect from jet-assist...then that will work as well. Just want to bypass its reach, if possible.

A question...if I use hydraulic push from my cutlass, might it allow me to get close to the devilfish without provoking an AoO from the beast?

"I can hear some of them buggers down the right-side fork. Should we head in, or scout?"

"How about one of my swords. Might scare the grindies into believing that it is magic..which it is of course!"

Can the rest of us move up now (cannot remember if low tide has shown up yet or not) If so, then Fjori will swim out to meet the others as they prepare to enter the lagoon

"I wonder if it is watching us, or maybe just a scout? Should we try for it lads?"

Fjori might want it...as well he would be interested in giving up his +1 cutlass (I need another light off-handed weapon to get max bonus!) and go back to his boarding ax.

Fjori chuckles and musses Mel's hair with one of his huge, scarred hands.
"Ah lad thats the spirit! But do be careful and hurry back. We need to get Quinn..."
He lets the last trail off, a look of concern and worry crossing his features.

"I am a swift and adapt swimmer. As long as I do not need to hold my breath too long!" the northerner smiles.

"Why not just go back to where Hassan and you first encountered them?"

Fjori looks over Mel's shoulder at the map, trying to see where they need to go, and what the map might show them.
"Have you figured this out yet Mel? What are all those squiggly line there? What does that symbol mean?"
He continues with the questions, trying to bleed off a little of his nervous energy while they wait for the others to get ready.

Fjori takes the time while the others get ready to give the treasure chest a through search...perhaps something useful was missed during the first hurried examination.
