In non-gift related news, it's snowing and blowing a tad in Minnesota. CY and others in the region affected, hopefully you're doing ok. FH, enjoy your tropical island... grumble, grumble...

Hello, everyone.

Feeling a bit better, today.

The snow is too westerly to affect us thankfully.

It sure is windy though.

High temp today was a balmy 51. Tomorrow we're supposed to top out at 21.

Eh, another hour lost talking on the phone with father, listening to his b+#&&$#~ and trying to explain him that:

a) it's hard to provide IT support without having computers deliberately set to be easy to be supported (and even then it is problematic)
b) how the facemasks works
c) he has no f-king clue about world, science, bureacracy, psychology, sociology, politics, economy, and law, in no particular order

I'm up to level 9 on The Outer Worlds.

I found a grenade launcher which slightly eleviates the lack of throwable grenades.

I also helped create diet toothpaste.

You lucky bastard! We have a "high" of 15 degrees, which is pretty generous.

About to go home. Good night, everyone.

Hello again All FaWtL !!!

Happy Christmas !!! I asked Freehold DM where to post for advice and decided to put the querry here as well.

HELP ME BREAK GREG VAUGHN

I have been fortunate to be invited to play in a Campaign with Pathfinder Author Greg Vaughn, who has killed so many of us in his award winning AP Contributions. Greg is a lovely fellow in real life, but loves to kill characters at conventions to humble we who think we know every trick in the book.

We start the campaign this weekend and I need help with a Swashbuckler build. Go for broke. Anything in a Paizo rulebook is allowed.

Please feel free to add other Class Levels in the build and suggest archtypes, traits & feats.

I was going to Level dip in Paladin for Saves and Smite but Greg said thats the one class he can't see me play (he's right), advice for level dip and when they occur would be great.

I am on of the two Martial Classes and there is no real tank.

Here is what I have so far:

Race: Aasimar, Azata Blooded

Class: Swashbuckler 1

Rolled Stats 4d6 take best 3

ST: 11

DEX: 17 + 2 = 19

CON: 15

INT: 12

WIS: 12

CHA: 14 + 2 = 16

Once per day: Glitterdust

Starting Gold: 170 GP

Possible Feats: Steadfast Personality (??)

Going with a Scimitar (Saber) as the primary weapon

Happy Holidays, Cheers and thank you !!!

Good luck baron!

It seems just fine to me, a feat to increase ac for dodging purposes seems wise.

With no strength, what is your plan for going dex to damage?

Swashbucklers pair well with other dex/charisma classes. A level or two of rogue/ninja/slayer could work well, depending on what your party does.
Swashbuckler is relatively front loaded, so you get most of what you want by level seven. So dipping another class for a level or two can be benefisial.

No. I can help ensure you have not made too many if it comes to it. I mean, it'll be a sacrifice, but I'm willing to pay that price.

Two growing children around? Nope. It is impossible to make too many pierogis.

Also, pierogis reheated in a pan or an oven are wonderful, so no, there can't be too many of them.

Spoiler:
Ok, I am living alone, so the effort of making them, which is poorly scaling down to small portions, is not something I'd handle so I'd rather buy a suitable serving than make them oneself. I don't have patience for work-heavy cooking anyway.

Possible, yes. Likely? Perhaps not.

No.

The probability distribution wave function of the pierogi is scientific proof that there are never enough pierogis.

As someone who can no longer eat egg rolls because my mom went through a period where she made them every day I believe that it is possible to make too much of something.

And don't get me started on Jello, I can't even look at Jello without wanting to gag.

Greg Vaughn! I loved him in Beverly Hills 90210!

I only made four dozen. 30 pierogi russkie and 18 mushroom. I didn't want to go too overboard on the mushroom because I'm making the mushroom soup.

Have you tried beetroot soup with mushroom pierogi?

Yes, but for Wigilia, I always make mushroom soup instead of barszcz, because my grandmother did.

Thank you for the input, may I kindly ask how you would build that PC? I am more than a little rusty.

Dex to Damage comes from Slashing Grace.
