1. Details of the character are in the profile.

2. I can post several times daily.

3. I know little about the AP. I've skimmed the Players Guide but I don't like reading them as I feel they give too much away.

4. In combat: Seph is a skirmisher. Out of combat, he's a skill-monkey, face and general utility peep.

The Scenario:

The Rusty Dragon is filled with patrons gleefully drinking, eating and conversing. A visiting Varisian bard is one corner, singing a crude song about a Hellknight and halfling sailor, while in the corner across the room, a game of liar's dice is being played by several rough-looking characters. Suddenly, a large, tattooed thug stands from the game and bellows, "Ya filthy cheat! You think you can just smile at me and take my gold? I don' think so!" He lifts his accused from his seat - a slight Varisian male seemingly less than half his size.

The bard stops playing immediately and points at the scene. "Someone, help my brother from that brute!"...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The young man is basking in the glow of his sixth - or was it seventh? - mug of wine. Sat next to him, and equally as inebriated, is a young woman whom he'd met just recently. The two sit close, talking between themselves, sharing jokes and laughing together.

The convivial atmosphere of the tavern heighten their good moods.

Seph feigns a yawn, allowing one of his outstretched arms to settle round the girl's shoulders. She gives him a dig in the ribs; he reacts as though he's been run through.
"Tired, old man?" she teases.
"Yes, your conversation is most vapid.". Seph grins. The pair lock eyes.

"YA FILTHY CHEAT! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST SMILE AT ME AND TAKE MY GOLD? I DON' THINK SO!"

The moment interrupted, both heads snap over to the source of the commotion.

"Someone, help my brother from that brute!"

"Seph, do something.". Seph's companion gives Seph a gentle shove. He turns to face her.
"Cal, look at me.". The girl looks Seph up and down.
"Now look at him." The girl looks over to the tattooed man.
"Now look at me." She complies.
"Him, big. Me, not so big. Understand?" A smile playing across his face, Seph talks slowly, as though to a child.
"So, you're just gonna sit there?"
"No, I'm just gonna pull you close to me and protect you from the undesirable elements of this establishment, like the hero that I am."
With that, he pulls her closer.
"I feel safer already."
"Indeed."

The pair grin at each other and then look over at the gamblers. By this time, the landlord has intervened, calming the situation with the promise of free drinks.

The young couple enjoy the rest of their evening.
