Thanks, Wanjiku... one more piece to the puzzle. What do we know about the weapon that shot it down, what sort of vessel it was from?

If I had to guess, I'd say a larger vessel, something similar to our light laser cannon. Possibly the same model, even. Those are installed on civilian Orion Concord vessels, including Samsaran ships.

Oren is unable to find evidence of foul play in the cabin of the wrecked shuttle, but as she's searching, Nate Wanjiku calls from the top of the shuttle, where he's been examining the thruster damage.

Climbing out onto the roof, Oren looks at what Nate's showing her.

"Scanner indicates this is not lightning damage. Someone shot this shuttle down." Nate gestures to some specific patterns to explain, put the physics is over Oren's head. However, Nate's a good scientist, and he knew how to work a multicomp.

"There's nothing, Captain. No unusual readings, no nothing. It's like the ship was there and then just...wait. Sir, there's no evidence of thruster byproducts. It's like the ship just wasn't even there in the first place. Only...the laser definitely hit something there and stopped, sir."

After a few minutes, Nate Wanjiku at sensors reports to the captain.

"Sir! I see an approaching ship. It matches the signature of a D'Naki frigate!"

Speaking into her Comm Unit... Guangzhou, this is Ensign Knightgale. Team is in the Director's Office, 6th Floor and under heavy attack.

Requesting immediate backup and evac. Copy.

"...Wankj...Barely reading...signal degradation. Please..."
