I have a hunter that is currently not registered for PFS, but he's PFS legal. I would like to run with him, and I can have his new PFS profile set up sometime tonight. I'll post this under his profile so you can look over it and let me know if I missed any non PFS legal stuff before I copy/paste to the new profile.

EDIT: I'll have to bump him up to 20 point buy and drop the campaign trait. I don't think I missed anything else.

Interesting choices. Have fun all.

Elric watches the event unfold Shauldrek convinced the guard of the merchant's guilt, and thinks to himself
Shauldrek always was a tricky one. Makes him good in these types of situations, I guess. I just wish Shalelu had come on this one and let me and Anto watch the wilds. This is definitely not my strong suit. Ah well. It's only for a short while longer...

Anto, bored with the proceedings now that all the excitement has died down, goes back to watching the meat vendor, and Haaarummmph's longingly.

Elric nods at Shauldrek's words.
He's correct. We came in from a caravan out of Sandpoint, and I happened to overhear this merchant trying to sell to a half elf for exorbitant prices, and then used horribly offensive language with us when we tried to figure out the situation.

As if to accentuate Elric's words, Anto Waumph's and slaps the ground with his paw. He then sits back, looking satisfied with his contribution to conversation.

Elric snaps at the guard, clearly stressed out by the whole debacle.
He's not my tiger, he snorts out, He's [b]my friend[/i], and have you ever tried to calm down an 800 pound jungle cat?

Nevertheless, he puts his hand on Anto's back, and speaks to him in a soothing voice. After a few seconds the tiger's haunches lower, and he sits, but still looks around warily at the arms guards now surrounding him and his friend.

Elric looks over to Laurentii, and then to the guards, trying to decide what he's supposed to do, while longingly thinking to himself.
Gah! What I wouldn't give to be in the woods hunting down goblins right now! Cities are just too.... busy!

Only once in his life had Elric ever been more relieved than when the other members of the caravan started taking up the "conversation", and that was when Shalelu rescued him and Anto from the goblins.

Gaining a bit of confidence from the kobold, dragon, and newcomer, he smirked at the merchant out from under his hood, before removing it and displaying his ears for all to see. You know, Humans like you are the reason I choose the wilderness as my home.

With that, he looks to the half elf that started it all.
Our caravan just arrived. Sandru's, from Sandpoint. I know for a fact there is better food there, and for a much better price. Go see him at the King's Way entrance and tell him Elric sent you. He'll make sure you're treated right.

The half elf nods, and takes Elric's hand for a moment, pressing something into it.
Thank you, sir woodsman. I only wanted fresh fruit for my daughter's birthday, and then this man starting throwing insults at me. You showed up not too long after. Please, take this. It's said to give you good luck.

The merchant laughs the gaunt half elf leaves.
Bah, two coppers says he forgets your name! Like it or not, knife ears, your kind is lesser to mine. It'll always be that way. The sooner you get over it, the sooner you can move on!

He then starts shouting into the crowd of people watching.
This group of misfits is lying! These crops came from my cousins' farm, and there ain't no gargle worms in 'em! What they do have is the best damn flavor this side of the great mountains!

He shoots the group a menacing stare, daring them with his eyes to continue interfering with his business.

Elric takes the time to peek at what the half elf gave him, and then looks sharply in the direction he went. He opens his hand to let the item dangle on the leather cord it's attached to, watching it spin in the light before shrugging his shoulders and putting it around his neck, tucking it into his traveling leathers.

Anyone who looks can see it's a crystal amulet depicting Erastil's holy symbol.

If no one minds I'm going to drive the narrative forward a bit. It seems like everyone is unsure of how to proceed with this.

The merchant begins to look uneasy at the strange group gathered at his stall, but he stands his group nonetheless, and speaks to Elric in a loud and arrogant voice.
It's my right to set my own prices! Besides, he's just a damned bastard half elf anyway, don't you see?
Remember Elric has his hood up to hide his Elven ears.

He sneers at the gaunt half elf while he speaks to Elric
Even if you don't agree, the people gathered behind you haven't said a word, woodsman. They understand how the world works. You should go mind your own business and stay out of city affairs.

He chuckles at the last bit.
Damned knife-ears. Always trying to be humans. Not on my watch, I say...

Elric is struck speechless by the merchant's outburst, and looks at the group behind him for support.

Ok good. I did it correctly then. Thanks!

Update to character: I added the overprotective drawback to represent him not being able to save Anto's mother when he rescued Anto, and added the backstabber trait which adds 1 point of damage when flanking to represent him training with Anto on flanking maneuvers.

If no one else takes the precise strike feat, then I'll probably swap it for power attack before the game starts. I can't share teamwork feats with Anto until level four, so it won't really help out since Anto doesn't qualify for it. That is, unless the almighty GM will allow him to add teamwork feats to the list of feats he can take as an animal companion. I'm a bit hazy on that part. Does he still get a feat for being first level and then a second for being an animal companion, or does he only get the amount of feats presented on the animal companion chart?

I have only this question, Trux. Have I done Anto's feats right or is he supposed to have one more, and are teamwork feats allowed to be taken?

With a loud Wawr!! Anto whirls, his massive paw swiping at the wolf futilely. Realizing he'd been had yet again, he then tries to seem nonchalant, licking a paw and rubbing his forehead. After a couple of seconds, he peeks out from under his paw to see if anyone noticed, and then folds his ears back at Shadow. Elric puts his hand back on the cat's head and speaks with his normal quiet voice.
Down, Anto. Now is not the time for games. You can get him back later, when we are out of sight.

A small chuckle escapes him, and then he continues.
It's your own fault though. You knew he was there and you let your guard down. Shalelu would take your dinner meat for that. You're lucky she's not here.

His words are accompanied by a smile and a run between the ears. His eyes, however, never leave the merchant.

When the small dragon-creature communicates with his mind-talk, he is confused for a second, and then it makes sense.
He wouldn't have seen us on the trip, actually. We spent the entire thing on rear guard, far away from the passenger wagons. Well, I'm sure he'll have plenty of time to look at Anto in the inn, as long as they allow tigers...

But imagine the teamwork shenanigans we could pull off if we both made it in!

Elric feels the presence of two more people behind him, and silently berates himself.
Dammit, this is exactly what I didn't want! Too many people will draw attention!

Already, he could feel the stares from other people in the small plaza, and his ears notice conversations dying down as people begin watching. He slightly turns his head to see who had approached. When he sees who, his shoulders sag a bit. He remembers them, they usually ran front scouts for the caravan while he and Anto ran rear. He had seen them around Sandpoint, too, both in the wilds and in the city proper.
The woman and her wolf. They'll stand out just as much as Anto and I. At least it wasn't the two reptiles. They would have had the entire damn city here.

He turns to face the merchant again.
Look... I don't want to make a scene here, and it looks like that's exactly what's happening. Just sell this man the fruit for the normal price. There's no reason to be untoward to him. Please.

His tone comes off a bit abrasive, and not at all diplomatic like he wanted it to.
Gah! Shalelu always makes things like that sound so nice... Why the hell can't I?

Right now, just precise strike. Once I am able to share them with Anto I'm going to focus on flanking teamwork and allies. Should be fun, especially if we have a rogue or other flanking style combatants. I may even bleed over into the ranged flanking tree. Right now, I'm looking at taking outflank, paired opportunists, and seize the moment for sure.Probably going to throw power attack in there somewhere as well.

Elric sighs inwardly with relief when Shauldrek steps up behind him.
Thank the heavens he showed up... I didn't really have a plan for this. I just get so mad when I see people being discriminated against for things they can't help. Hopefully this diffuses without making a scene...

His hand instinctively goes down to Anto, his palm resting on the tiger's head.

This is Steven_Evil's character, Elric, the half elf hunter! and likewise, CelticCircle. Let's hope we can create the same awesome rp'ing here we had in our last game.

Elric steps off the caravan, Anto lithely following right at his side.
Now I know why Shalelu wanted me to go with Sandru. This is the strangest assortment of people I have ever seen him take along. Wouldn't have been hard to miss someone doing something untoward...

He absentmindedly rubs Anto between the ears while he thinks, and then strides to Sandru.
I have an errand or two to attend to for Shalelu while we are here. Do you need me to stay and continue guarding, or shall I take my leave?

Sandru nods at the hunter and smiles.
No, no, go my boy! She was gracious enough to lend me her assistant as a guard, the least I can do is let you enjoy the town! You and Anto go find something fun to do, and take care of whatever ol' Shalelu wants!

Elric nods, and offers the man a small smile before pulling his hood up and striding into the town. After visiting a few shops and acquiring the items Shalelu wanted, he begins making his way to inn that the caravan members were staying at.

A few hours before diiner, he comes across a small strip of merchant's stalls, and overhears a merchant talking loudly. He moves closer to investigate, and hears the merchant refusing to sell a fruit of some type to a gaunt looking half elf for a normal price.
Different town, same people, it seems. I suppose my people are universally looked down on...

He makes his way up to the stall, his way made easy by the people parting ways when they see Anto.
Sir, is there a problem? he asks the merchant. I thought I heard the price of that fruit wrong... Surely it isn't so high?

His words are accented by Anto sniffing the table, and then huffing.
