Hi, Mightypion WIP Fated champion submission is here, 2 quick questions: 1: Is a relevant drawback fine? Something like paranoid or vain would definitly fit her, and would allow me to grab disguise as a class skill, which would work well with an opera singer who very much does her own makeups/costumes etc. 2: Starting gold? Average? Max? Roll? 3: I am assuming Elephant in the room (feat tax rule) is not active?
Interesting, would anyone have an idea of how a Paladin code for Magdh would look like? I could probably fit in 2 Paladin levels somewhere, and regain the spellcasting from the prestige class. Anathema I can find in existing Paizo material are:

I got hit by some inspiration: Aria is a Kellid more inline with the fey then with Iomedae, and is a lawfull good worshipper of Magd, as well Fated Champion Skald Archetype. Between Auguries (which the archetype improves), fey boons, and pretty good knowledge checks, she is a bit of fairly intelligent skill monkey who can hold her own in a fight. Magds obedience is both pretty good mechanically (+4 to intelligence based skillchecks) and a unproblematic roleplay wise (even some good deities have well... cringey or awkard obediences). The rage powers she picks up will be celestial blood, and then the world serpent line (insight to AC vs outsiders is pretty good in this campaign). It also turns her into a great "plot dump" device for the GM. She is much less of a beatstick then her initial iteration, and still likes terendelev and trashtalking demons.
I came up with a slightly altered concept: I did play and GM it before (which I think is true for many on these boards), but look forward to a far more intense experience since we arent mythic :). Aria is: --A massive fangirl for Terendelev --Coming for the Kellid/Ulfen/in real life Viking tradition of Flyting (insult competition, if you get angry first you lose), she is very very skilled at verbal combat. --Will become a dragon disciple in Terendelevs footssteps once mythic happens. This makes the trait situation much much easier, so I wont need a drawback everyone is going to forget about at some point. --Is currently a fated champion (fits better for wotr then spell warrior, I think) /red tounge skald (for getting even better at informing opponents of their many deficiencies, and rouge talents, outside of linguistics, she also isnt very learned which is what this archetype also does). Exact archetype may depend on who else is in the party and how many people can make use of which rage types. GM: I am open to Aria being a Wintersun (hostile Kellids in Act 3), although obviously not one who went with Marevok, and it could also be that she is a wintersun but doesnt know her heritage on account of being a refugee orphan. Her being a daughter of a previous chief named Ulf could be interesting. She would obviously really hate Korramzadeh in particular for prolouge stuff.
Mightypions wip submission here: I have some questions: --Is a drawback allowed? My base character doesnt have stealth and disguise as class skills, and I plan to go rosewarden to free Sarkoris from the demons, and perhaps even the demons from themselfs. --My archetype combination hand out rouge talents after level 8. If I hand out the combat trick rouge talent, does this mean that the party gets the same combat trick I picked, or do they get to pick for themselfs? They probably get the exact combat trick I picked up, but I am not certain. --I have seen a lot of table variation concerning extra rage power and skalds, do I hand out rage powers aquired by extra rage power feats? |
