"She just left a little bit ago," Elena answers. "She might be back soon, if you want to wait."

"That would be a scolding I'd like to avoid at all costs," Elena says, leaning against Kama as they leave the temple.

"We better head back before Mother and Auntie Priya come looking for us," Elena says after a couple of minutes.

Elena leans against Kama in contentment.

After the last well-wisher departs, Elena turns to Kama. She lets out a soft sigh. "Let's just take a minute before we head to the house. I just need some time with only you."

"I don't think we're planning on leaving for a good while," Elena says. "Mother's going to have to teach me about raising children first."

"And yours, Drago," Elena says to the dhampir. "You are truly deserving of it after everything you've been through."

Elena then turns to Rajni just as she's embraced. "Your turn's coming up pretty soon, isn't it?"

"Thanks, Arista," Elena responds.

Elena smiles at Yulia as she departs and laughs at Celine's comment. "We'll have food soon, I promise."

Elena presses her lips against Kama's with both passion and the minimal amount of decorum necessary for being in public. She could hardly wait for tonight.

Elena slides the ring upon Kama's slender finger and gazes into her eyes.

Vishkanya:
"You are the light that I have yearned for, the dream I have spent my nights seeking. My life has been moments leading up to this one, my experiences simply practice to become a worthy wife for you. You are the final port I settle my vessel in, until the sun sets for the last time."

Elena smiles broadly, tears forming at the corners of her eyes. She is grateful for the veil that hides them from everyone but Kama (and Ashram).

Elena stands at the altar in a peach and gold dress, a delicate veil of satin covering her face. She smiles as she sees Kama enter the temple.

Elena ties off the streamer at the first pew. "Yes, Mother."

"No, Mother," Elena says. "But it is my day."

Elena sighs as she drags the gold streamers along the pews in the temple. "Don't you think that you and Auntie should have done this earlier?"

Elena heads upstairs to wash her face before getting ready for the wedding.

"We better get ourselves put together, Elena says, giving Kama a quick kiss.

"I think I am too, but I am also very nervous," Elena says, smiling at Kama. "I just hope it all goes smoothly."

Elena chuckles. "That was meant for Kama, but I appreciate your support."

Elena lets out a nervous sigh. "Are you ready?"

Elena nibbles on a piece of cheese and sips her tea. "I just hope this concoction lasts for a good while."

Elena shakes her head. "She's always so full of energy."

Elena takes out the stopper and takes a swig of the potion. "Well...it doesn't taste awful."

She finishes off the contents of the vial and lets out a sigh. "Oh, that does seem to be helping."

"That sounds fine," Elena says. "I think that'll keep me going until the reception."

While waiting for Kama to answer, she looks up at Rajni. "I don't know...I'm not sure what will settle well on my stomach today. Ooh, I hope I'm feeling better in time for the reception."

Elena smirks. "I don't regret it. It's just a little uncomfortable."

Elena takes the vial and looks at it. "What is it?"

"I do too," Elena says. She smirks. "So, let this be a lesson to you, Rajni: Don't get pregnant before your wedding. Feeling this sick is not fun."

Elena nods. "So, what did you get, beloved?"

"Oh, good," Elena says with a sigh. "I hope those things work."

Elena shuffles into the kitchen, looking miserable. "I thought I heard you two."

She gives a weak smile to Rajni and Kama.

Elena shuffles back to the bedroom to hopefully nap away some of the nausea.

Elena sighs. "I don't want you to fret over me, love, but, if it would make you feel better, go ahead and get Konstantyná. I'll be alright for a little while."

Elena looks to Kama. She didn't want Rajni troubling herself over something that would pass...eventually.

Elena opens the door to the bathroom, her face flushed. "Maybe...a little..."

Elena merely groans.

"I don't know how beautiful I feel right now," Elena whimpers miserably.

"It just had to be today..."

Elena leans over the toilet, retching as Kama walks in.

Wheel of Maternity: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Elena awakens with a violently ill feeling. She bolts upright in the bed and sees Kama awake. "I'm sorry..."

She hops off the bed and runs to the bathroom.

Elena smiles at Rajni as she and Kama head to the kitchen door. "We will see you later."

Elena takes Kama's hand. "We should see if Mother and Auntie Priya need us for anything before the big day."

"That's sweet of you," Elena remarks with a smile.

Elena looks up as Rajni walks into the kitchen. "Everything alright?"

"As long as she's okay," Elena says. "I'll leave her to it."

"I don't know," Elena says to her littlest sister.

"It really doesn't seem like she does."

Elena shakes her head and chuckles.

"Okay," Elena says.

"You're not getting involved in something...long-term, are you?" Elena asks, a bit concerned.
