This is my favorite character so far... so much so that I can't stop making role cards for him. I've always loved bards, but I miss the first edition powerhouses.

I've made several changes, and the text seems clearer. Here are the source files, if anyone wants them.

I'm going to look at your suggestions carefully, cartmanbeck. They sound good.

I should probably point out right away though that I didn't expect this character to be well balanced except against the personality of her player. The main problem to me is that every one of her cards can be used for an extra explore, and only the allies require any other resources on her part. I suspect that if she stuck around and played every chance she got, the game would become a lot easier than we want it to be.

Of course, if she uses all of her spells as explores, she has no way to deal with monsters when she uses her allies, but she won't need a spell on every explore either.

Edit: Also, I meant for her to draw from the blessings deck during her turn power, to replace the normal advance the blessings deck step.

They mostly seem fair to me. I have a couple of suggestions though.

If it were me, I'd want to tie his heal to killing things. Maybe just "When you defeat a monster, you may recharge a card to recharge a random card from your discard pile."

I think his evade power would be clearer as "When you encounter a barrier at a location, you may discard a card to set the top 2 cards of your location deck aside, unexamined; shuffle the barrier into the location deck, then replace the cards you set aside on top of the deck."

Or you could say, "When you encounter a barrier at your location, you may discard a card to set the barrier aside; encounter the next card in the location deck, then shuffle the barrier back into the deck." It's a bit more powerful, but simpler.

You might also consider doing this for his last power, "You may banish all of your buried cards to add 1d8 for each card to your check to defeat a bane." That would make it painful enough that you wouldn't want to use it often.

I made this character for my niece, who likes to play, but seems to disappear whenever it's her turn. She's a little shy about exploring sometimes too.

He's sort of a Cleric/Thief, and tends to use poison a lot. As usual, he's CC0, so do anything you want with him.

I like this artwork for him.

2 spells but no ability to use them seems odd. The "capturing" paralyzed targets is flavorful. Shouldn't it also not work against Undead?

I wanted him to have spell-like abilities before he actually gets arcane. He collects enough cards that banishing two doesn't hurt him.

Actually, the recharge ability is supposed to be his ghoul disease, turning everything into ghouls. I was thinking that elves were immune to that too, but it doesn't say so.

I also liked the idea of him being able to control other undead, so I just lumped them in. I could add elementals to the list of forbidden types though.

This guy is a lot of fun to play. Make of him, what you will.

Ok, he's more of an Oracle/Monk.

I'd welcome any feedback on this character. All my original work on him is released under the CC0 license, so feel free to use him however. I did not use any paizo graphics in this; it was done in Inkscape, using public domain art. I'll post the Inkscape files if anyone is interested.
