That would certainly be amusing as long as I can use it, since certain classes that can get familiars might not have a caster level and therefor would not qualify for it.
This isn't actually a problem as far as Improved Familiar is concerned.

Welp, marking that one down to shove into people's faces the next time that conflict arises. Now I can have my fey knight (a human Order of the Beast (ACG) Cavalier) have a liminal sprite later on.

I'm curious... What type of Familiar would the metal guy be in Full Metal Alchemist?

Hard to say, since he is so large. I suppose a Mauler familiar would fit his height best and I suppose you could get the spell Instant Armor or that spell that instantly teleports a specific set of armor on or off (can't remember it's name for the life of me) if you really want to emulate him.

I think I found the class, although other opinions are welcome. I'm thinking a human Witchguard Ranger. Mostly to add insult to injury that his wife turned into a raven (or thrush) on his watch.

Ah yes, I remember that one. I had a Qadiran merchant that was a Spirit Binder wizard whose familiar was his dead paladin daughter. Interesting idea for sure, but I am not quite convinced (especially since I really do want her to have been a Jadigwa witch before she became feathery).

So I've been at it again making a million different characters for Pathfinder and I realized that I hadn't made a somewhat silly character in a couple of weeks (an intentionally silly one, that is). That is where this character comes in, this married man with his unfortunate wife. She's not sick or dying, she's just been turned into my character's familiar by a rather powerful, disgruntled rival witch from Irrisen and my character is desperately trying to find a way to get her back to her old self before she figures out a way and bites his head off.

The question is what class should I play for this unlucky bastard and his nagging wife who's been turned into a raven? Any class will do as long as I can get a raven familiar at level 1. Frankly I am not too picky with the familiar type as long as I can get them to speak at level 1 and nag him.

As the name of this thread suggests I am kinda curious what would happen to a Dragon Disciple that took the Outer Dragon Blood (I will put the link to the trait below) and decides to use Form of the Dragon 1 and 2. Would some home brewing be required for the additional effects you get since you have to change into the dragon-type specified in your bloodline (which could be potentially an outer dragon)?

I've actually been constructing one for a little while now and hes basically my not-ranger. Basically he was the apprentice of a ranger but after finding an unusually intelligent animal learned that something was screwy, so his master sent him to go so a cleric friend of his and soon learned that the familiar was from an Agathian Empyreal Lord (it's a Silvanshee in disguise, but I'm not sure what familiar to take to compliment him and what lord to follow). Basically he's an archer paladin that forgoes heavy armor and melee weapons for a longbow and stealth (if the enemy is irredeemably evil and he knows it, why fight fair?).

As the name suggests I'm creating a Half-elven sorcerer with the Sylvan Wildblood bloodline and I'm looking at a one level dip into another class. You see this character will be taking Boon Companion at level one which will boost him from my Sorcerer Level - 3 to my Sorcerer Level + 1 and since I can't use that additional + 1 I'm thinking of taking a small dip into another class to grab some useful things once I hit level 2 (mind you this is a theoretical character so I don't have anything campaign specific I'm looking at). My character is also going to grab the Eldritch Heritage feats and get the Arcane Bloodline so that I can also have a nice familiar (which I will also grab Boon Companion for and make it a Pooka at level 7). With that in mind, anyone got any advice on what class would best go with a Sylvan Sorcerer?

Edit: Hm, swear I wrote a bit more about him. Ah well, guess I'll do that now. First I'll give you all some backstory.

Zylynon (that's his name for now) is the son of a long line of human druids on his father's side and a long line of elven magi (Wizards in this case) on his mother's side. At a young age the two (who did live with each other) found that their son had a knack for magic, but not in the way of his father or his mother. His mother quickly realized that their son was in fact a sorcerer with a penchant for animals (something he must have gotten from his father's side, no doubt). Both his mother and father sought to aid him in cultivating his talent for magic (I mean what elven mother and druid father wouldn't want their son to kind of follow in their footsteps?).

That is all I have for now. I hope this makes my character a little clearer (apologies Chess Pwn for not making it clearer). I intend for him to get the Eldritch Heritage for the Arcane Bloodline and roleplay that is his mother's long magical lineage manifesting itself as well. The Pooka ... well, Fey creature, Sylvan Sorcerer. Makes sense to me at least.

So I was looking at various classes for an Ioun Master character I've been constructing when I remembered the Empyreal Bloodline for the sorcerer and thought, "Huh, I wonder if I could make a decent holy warrior kind of character out of one these" and so was born this idea, a dwarven Empyreal Sorcerer/ Sohei Monk follower of Irori seeking perfection through the blend of his innate magical abilities and monk training he received as a child (the head of a Monastery having found him next to two very much dead dwarves and taking him in). Now I've looked at Zolthux's guide to the Eldritch Knight and he mentions this combo, however as it stands I'm not sure how to advance with this concept. As in, I'm not sure what kind of feats, kinds of weapons, and items to take for this kind of character as I'm advancing. I know Magical Knack will be crucial to keeping me in step with other casters, but I'm not sure what I should take for a second trait (I don't actually have a game for this character, this is just me concept building assuming a 20-point buy and 2 traits). Any help would be appreciated as I go through the mountain of feats in this game.
