Hmm, interesting. It hadn't really occurred to me the sheer (lack of) scale of most MMOs. Sounds like a decent size, even if my first instinct was (like many people's) "Wow, so tiny an area?"

Plus, Hexes. You can't go wrong with hexes.

Overall, this still leaves me cautiously optimistic, though my carebear nature means a *lot* of caution. One thing for sure, I'll be trying it as soon as possible (which sadly, might be a terribly long time after it starts *sadface*).

While I have enjoyed many covers, one stands out as my favorite by far.

This one.

Yes, one can even be overqualified in the Abyss it would seem.

That usually translates into convoluted plots to overthrow you and feed you to the greedy ... er, " daring and heroic ", yeah, yeah ... paws of mortals from across the many Material worlds.

No, no. That's perfectly normal. When you become overqualified, you start hatching convoluted plots to overthrow yourself... And they start working.

Well, after some thought and consideration, I've decided to at least try the first two issues of Pathfinder out. I'd rather a Dragon style replacement (since Dungeon is somewhat less useful for people who aren't playing), but since this is what we have...

And while I'm angry and annoyed with WotC over this, Paizo won't be catching any of that. Regardless of whether I enjoy the new stuff, I hope it works out for you.

Wow. Just... wow.

I haven't been collecting Dragon as long as many, but it's been a while now. And I've subscribed for several years now, even though I haven't actually played in years. Dragon was enough to keep me interested, if not playing (but that's due to a lack of players here).

And like others, I won't be even looking into WotC's online stuff. If I'm online, I'm gonna be gaming. I want my Dragon for times when I'm away from the computer, doing something else entirely.

At this point, I'm not even really angry, just really disappointed with WotC. Though I have no doubt I'll be angry later on. Bah, humbug.
