The the Nameless One feat mentions that your mask takes up a magic item slot. However, how does this work with enchanting that mask? If one takes the apropriate wizard discovery can it be a bonded item to, and would that allow you to add magical qualities to it? would it also be able to be used as a Fetish Mask from the orc witch archetype (that also allows the adition of magical qualities)?

The question has no rush, just working on possible characters

Okay so the feat Elemental Commixture allows for your spells to be combined with others, It also names a couple of mixtures. However I doesn't seem to mention if the descriptors within a spell would be combined, or in the case of multiple ones from the original spell.

The steam caster feat allows you to turn any spell with the fire descriptor to be treated as if it had the water descriptor. Now lets say I commixture it with an earth/acid spell.

would I get;
a) 1 commixture benefit: Earth-Fire
b) 2 commixture benefits: Earth-Fire and Water-Earth
c) 3 commixture benefits; Earth-Fire, Water-Earth and Fire-Water

The feat doesn't seem to explain all that well how to handle spells with a multitude of descriptors. However I'm considering a Undine character, It seems a solid choice from a roleplaying perspective so I'd like to know about its applications a bit more.

So, A player has shown interest in becoming a Soulbound Shell. He has asked a couple of questions about his options, Not knowing the answers myself, that I intended to answer at the next session after research.

Going over the rulebook, bestiary 4, I'm left with quite a lot of questions myself.

- 1. Does a Soulbound Shell keep its own mental scores?

- 2. Does a Soulbound Shell have to ability to prepare "more" spells if he gains additional spell slots since that would not change his prepared spells, just the quantity of the spells.

- 3. Does gaining class levels in spell caster levels that gives you spells known on level up still happen?

Depending on the answers he'll (seemingly) be a sorcerer/Soulbound Shell cleric casting Mystic Theurge or Soulbound Shell wizard casting/alchemist.

I realize some of these questions might seem... dumb. I really am not comfortable with the rules dealing with becoming other beings.

so yeah, another Summoner - Synthesist question(s as it might be)

A vampire inside his translucent living armor... is that direct sunlight? it covers his entire body, it might even be black as night. Can a vampire walk out in sunlight like that?

please tell me no, this half-orc vampire is going to have a laugh otherwise.

couple of questions about the monk, I know, what else is new.

- Stone self (oread archtype), is this supposed to replace perfect self? I'm assuming yes

- Elemental fist syles, if they include may only deal X damage, if you have multiple effects demanding this active at the same time, what happens?

thanks.

Okay, corruption forge redeemed, the implants have been made, they're clearly evil objects, they have rules in order to re-craft them. now what do I do.

I'm Gm'ng a game with a Tiefling EMPYREAL KNIGHT(paladin) who wants to make this happen, with the intent to use them himself.

so, I told him I´d let him know at the next session.

Do I disallow this (fail to see a reason to rule wise)?
And do I tinker new "angelic" versions of these items, or can I get away with just purified versions (would make more sense if a tiefling is going to wear them)?

session is next week, so please take your time :)

Okay third topic based on the 4th bestiary.

The clockwork mage was a godsend for someone who likes golem armor (or at least the idea of it)

having finally a medium golem that's well suited for mages, I'm making one. few questions though;

- do enhancements on the golem's natural armor count as enhancements on the "armor"

- the entry says that its made out of mitral for the most part. if I pay the extra "mitral armor cost" would it count as an mitral breastplate?

- A clockwork mage seems pretty magical, magical gear is masterwork, would my breastplate be masterwork?

- Can I make my "armor" legendary? (legendary item, mythic rules)

In my biast opinion, I would probably rule al but the last one with yes.
However people's opinions would be welcome.

Okay so looking over this template. 2 things spring to mind,

Is there any reason not to make this pact with a Contract devil, It has in its own description a relatively easy way to get out of any contracts with him. Get the second copy, destroy both, laugh in the devils face (last step not required, though totally recommended)

Is there any reason not to take this, if your powerful enough to get out of the contract (like summoning another devil to steal the contract from him, or simply summoning and torturing the devil) You can still shift your alignment later. It doesn't mention that you lose the benefits if you break the contract

Its probably also one of the more rewarding ways to spend your soul (and gain any story feats completion bonuses you might have), Compared to 3 wishes, this is way better

Conundrum: A character in my Kingmaker campaign had previously chosen to play as a child character, the daughter of a noble. This character had established relations with fey (fairy godmother, campaign trait related to fey, etc.). This character took the leadership feat (being a noble and playing an obviously weaker char made me okay with this) Now that she had the option, she took a swan maiden as a cohort, and now she's a swan maiden to.

Question: I have little idea how to calculate exp with this, what she keeps from her previous character, etc. So if someone here has had a similar experience with characters transforming into monsters, Please advise.

From the book : Swan maidens count as level 10 chars for the leadership feat and have 10 hit dice. A character should therefor be level 12 to take one (so do I consider her a level 10 or 12 character, does exp reset giving her 2 levels?). A swan maiden loses all class and racial abilities (does this include skills and feats? should I disregard the skills in the swanmaiden entry if so?).

Considering it was roleplayed very well, I don't feel like I can deny her this. I just have no experience with the situation.
