Dharakk slowly descended the stairs the sound of rushing water below fills his ears. He tried to keep one eye on the path ahead and one eye on the large Minotaur directly behind him, Why did I go first, I don't fully trust this lot. With an annoyed grunt he continued down the stairs.

Keeping his eye on the large Minotaur Dharak replied to Ama with a shrug of his shoulders, "Who can explain the way these House Lords think. Always scheming trying to improve their position in their house even if they have to climb over the copses of the own house members." Still glaring at the Minotaur he asks, "Anything else on your mind?"

Dharakk watched the other group approach and his hand moved of its own volition toward the haft of his great axe. The half orc turns his head to the side and spits waiting to see if the other group wants to fight or talk. Ama Freewater wrote: The nod from one of the others made her feel a little better, and she moved with a bit more confidence, stopping several steps away. "...It appears that there is some overlap", she began with an intrigued look on her face. Guess its talk for now, Dharakk concluded as he heard Ama's words. "A little. Is it going to be a problem?" The half orc growled at the girl. edit

When he realized he couldn't approach the other group without being spotted dharrak stopped in his tracks, "Can't do it without being spotted." Taryn d'Lyrandar wrote: "and, I have worse news," he continues more softly, "not only do we have a rival in Ama, but we've attracted the attention of someone else as well... there was a shifter marking us until I spotted him; then he vanished into the crowd and I lost him..." Dharakk looks around nonchalantly, "We'll probably get a lot of unwanted attention around these parts."

As the party worked its way lower and lower Dharakk kept his ears open. Little by little he was able to piece together that they needed to go to a place called the rat market. He pulled his companions aside and suggested with a grin, "The best place to get information might be a place called the Rat Market. You might want to hold your breath or plug your nose because its on the lowest level." Dharrak slowly shakes his head, "Those numbers do mean anything to me. I was hoping one of you could shed some light on their meaning." He considers for a few moments, "Might be best if we just go down and take a look and see whats what. Regardless, we'll need to get supplies and some rest first."

Dharrak hurriedly copies down the information, We've got a map now we just have to figure out what it means. When he is done copying he suggest, "Lets go somewhere we can talk." Perhaps we should have a roll call and see who is still with the game? Some have not posted since the re-start.

Kn. Local: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (19) + 7 + (3) = 29 Dharakk watches Ama unroll the map and has a nagging thought about it. Eventually he places it and points out, "I think that's some sort of schematic of the Dorasharn Tower as well as the systems of sewers and tunnels that lie beneath it"

Int DC 10: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Dharakk pushes he way to the front of the group so he can get a closer look at the Professor's effects. About what I would expect, he thinks as Dolom pulls out most the the mundane items. Ah here we go, when the journal is removed from the satchel. He begins to examine the journal, "Interesting, every page is blank. Rubbing his chin he asks himself, "Perhaps the writing is concealed by alchemical or magical means?" He looks to Dolom while he picks up a blank sheet of paper and the red chalk, "Do you mind?" Without waiting for an answer he begins to trace the design on the front cover of the book. "I don't recognize it, do any of you? Dharakk asks his companions. He continues as he holds up the journal, "Can any of you lot detect magic on this?"

The late Professor had come to the Library to acquire a couple of books, only to find that those books had been falsely checked out. We were going to a friend of his that could help when he was killed." She tried to maintain her composure, but cracked a little at the memory from yesterday. "Books, what sort of books?"Dharakk quizzically grumbles at the librarian.

Dharrak tries to return the smile the woman gives him but his protruding incisors make it look more like a scowl, "Sergeants busy right now lass." He extents his meaty hand, "I be Dharakk, and I'd be happy to deliver your letter for you." He hurriedly continues, "Not that it be any of me business but what does the letter say?"
