So with 1.4, half elves and half orcs lost a bit of stuff, unless I'm massively misinterpreting.
Half Orcs lost their ability to get a +2 to their HP, their ability to gain Orcish language, and their training to intimidation.
Half Elves lost their +5 Move Speed, their ability to gain Elvish language, and their ability to get training to Diplomacy. (This also means that it's impossible for a Half Elf to get the Elf Step feat, since it requires 40 foot, and Half Elves now cap at 35, with 25 base.)


Pretty much the title. Operatives and Envoys feel weak compared to the other classes. 3/4 BAB classes get WORSE at combat as they level against creatures of equal CR vs Average Party Level. It's the same for Mystic and Technomancer, but at least they gain spells to compensate. Part of it is the massive change to Flatfooted. A flat -2 rather than losing Dex AC is fine for Full BAB (Which is why I like it in PF2e) but Operatives, who rely on Flatfooted to use their signature class ability, don't get much work out of a small 10% increase when they ride a linear decline in combat effectiveness from level 1 to level 20, with Envoys being even worse. And yes, I know they're the skill classes and they perform well in the non-combat scenarios, but at the end of the day, everyone wants to feel like they're helping in the Nighclub shootout, rather than just cheering on the Martials and Casters as they handle everything.

Maybe it's just growing pains from going from Paths to Star, but I've worked and played experimented with each class, and every time, I end up thinking "It just needs a little... more."


So, are these things purely Role Play Items? Or do they DO things to implants to make them a little better than purely tech versions to justify the price? Does a Speed Suspension or Dermal Plating created with Biochains not set off space-port metal detectors? Do Darkvision Capacitors created with Biochains become actual organic eyes with darkvision and don't have UV lasers shooting from them? Do you not have to worry about Space-Gas-Station Microwaves with an organic version of the Cardiac Accelerator?
