Backstory:
Dawncaller is something of an enigma among his people: he has never believed in the spirits, and unlike some of those who feel the same way, he is open in his disdain for the "Ethereal" or "Spiritual" realms of thought.

Living as something of a hermit, Dawncaller primarily supports himself by killing for money: He is sure that there are those who look down on him for doing so, but he can't be bothered to care about their opinion.
He is intrigued by these aliens who have invaded his home, and is interested in seeing what they do with the place.
