All I've got in terms of lore books right now are Divine Mysteries and a copy of Gods and Magic somewhere around here. So, DM lists off things like Abadar's priests serving as lawyers or bankers, Cayden's priests as sellswords or barkeepers, Gozreh's priests as wilderness guides, Shelyn's priests as barbers or tailors, etc. But all it has to say about a priest of Desna is... they go places... and sometimes those places are really far away.

Besides the fact that this doesn't provide much inspiration for what a priest might have done before becoming an adventurer, it only covers a single one of Desna's AoC's! Where are the astronomers and astrologers (Stars), the fortune-tellers and fortune-makers (Luck), or the visionaries and Freudian psychologists (except they actually like people... also Dreams)?

Is there any lore from older books, then, that might suggest other ways they serve the faithful and their neighbors beyond ritual and... walking?

I'm currently in the process of creating an azata-blooded aasimar Cleric in service to Ashava for my first campaign in the world of Golarion. I've only got access to LO: Gods and Magic and the Ashava article on the wiki, so I was wondering if more knowledgeable people here could provide me with supplementary info that would help me to RP a Cleric of this demigod better.

I'm mainly concerned with these questions: What practices and ministries do Ashava Clerics engage in, besides the eradication of will-o'-wisps? What races and cultures, besides Varisian humans, tend to be inclined to her mystery cult? As a deific azata, what particular expression of freedom and wonder does she embody (like lyrakiens representing free travel)? And how does Ashava handle non-ghost undead?

Thanks to any who respond :)

I've chosen to enter the vaults as a Cloistered Cleric of Ashava, preparing to bring low the will-o'-wisps that may be lurking about.

I was wanting to know a few things from the folks here: What ancestries and heritages (besides the obvious aasimar) would fit for a worshipper of the moonlit True Spark? What feats should I look into collecting, both in terms of optimization and flavor? What domain should I start with?

Any replies are very appreciated.

We wound up with both a Cleric and a Champion of Ashava in Abomination Vaults, and I thought it would be nice to come up with a set of boons and curses to employ in the campaign. I'm not particularly good at homebrew, and I'm not sure what makes the most thematic sense for intercessions from the True Spark.

If anyone has any ideas they could share with me, I'd absolutely love to hear them.

Just happened to find the Bestiary in a book store one day. Went online and looked up more about it, and have been interested ever since.

That was like 5 years ago, though, and I'm only just now getting to try my first campaign lol.
