This may or may not help, but here are the 20 pt. possibilities. (Thanks to my wonderful DM!) They're kinda out of order because they were on an excel sheet, originally it's 3 columns on 2 pages.

I don't think it's ALL of the possibilities, but relatively close. There's at least one missing from the list that I had written down at some point.

we also had a thing we would do called "coconut" if one of us yelled coconut we would all attack the same time, we never planned it it was just the "situation is deteriorating" and combat is beginning kinda of thing.

LOL, our group doesn't even pretend to use code words. Losing arguments with talkative bad guys usually end in... "Oh yea?! How about we roll initiative!" :D

This, as with many other issues, is up to GM interpretation...

My experience as a player, just AVOID anything in PFS that involves THAT phrase. You'll save yourself and your friends a lot of grief.

GM: This is all very well and good but what is such an obviously experienced crime lord doing in Irissen and why, pray tell, is he 1st level!?

This is the reason I have difficulty providing backgrounds for my characters, especially the younger races (humans) who are literally just leaving home or school for the first time. Do you really want me to steal bits and pieces from 'saved by the bell' or {insert random high school drama movie}? I'm much better at using a personality than generating a background.

The above quote is almost exactly what I ended up with when using a background generator ("Central Casting") for our current Kingmaker game and I think it set me up for a bit of disappointment as a "minor gang leader" that still has no lackies at level 4. Game mechanics simply don't allow for it without breaking something or playing a house-ruled (altered summon list) Summoner of some kind.

BTW, "Amnesia"... *guilty*, but in my defense the character is for all intesive purposes a superhero in a dwarven paladin body, his personality is The Tick. (Not at all original, but extremely fun.) He need a superhero origin, it's honestly the first time I've ever used "Amnesia", it never really played into anything anyway, the group is happy to have their silly and very outspoken meatshield.

example:
We came acrossed monsters making a meal of what use to be rangers, my paladin says, "Hmmm, must be a breakfast of champions!"
(I got a few giggles and a LOT of blank stares, LMAO!!)

I just like disturbing characters... TV TROPES LINK

This link is awesome, I highly recommend browsing that site for ideas if you get stuck in a rut. It goes a long way towards helping find/role-play a personality. I think I latched onto it the last time you posted it.

I also like disturbing characters, but usually the part that's disturbing to everyone is just how SIMPLE they are.

examples:

  • The caveman woodelf barbarian who obsesses over the scrambled eggs set in front of him and bounces in his seat(arm raised like a school kid) at the statement, "Anyone have any questions." {insert OOC party groan}.
  • The human barbarian who thinks he's smarter than everyone else, but really just references everything to his anatomy... in a relatively lude fashion.
  • The curious kobold whose ONLY true friend in the ENTIRE world is his boar companion, that he treats like a person, to include having it eat at the table and labeling it as an under-developed orc whenever someone would dismiss it as "just a pig"... sadly even ORCS have been dumb enough to believe that bluff check, LMAO!

By far 3 of my all time favorites.

In Pathfinder the Maul is known as the "Earthbreaker" which has stats in a multitude of places. The Adventurer's Armory is one of them, but you can also find the stats on the D20 PFSRD Webpage

Both the Rise of the Runelords and Curse of the Crimson Throne player's guides have the Earth Breaker in them... FREE downloads here at Paizo.

I would say that it should be built up as an exotic weapon or maybe a martial weapon. If it's been modified to be a 'masterwork weapon' then it's not an improvised one.

Dog Slicers and Horse Choppers are not exotic weapons, both are cobbled from scrap by goblins and can be masterwork. Let the Barbarian Hurler have his bowling ball, geez.

    Shield Bash Attacks:(pg. 152)
Used this way, a light shield is a martial bludgeoning weapon. For the purpose of penalties on attack rolls, treat a light shield as a light weapon. If you use your shield as a weapon, you lose its Armor Class bonus until your next turn.

Used this way, a heavy shield is a martial bludgeoning weapon. For the purpose of penalties on attack rolls, treat a heavy shield as a one-handed weapon. If you use your shield as a weapon, you lose its Armor Class bonus until your next turn.

Both shields also specifically say they are STRAPPED TO YOUR FOREARM & GRIPPED WITH YOUR HAND, at best I'd say you could use Disarm to REMOVE SHIELD AC for that turn. Otherwise it's armor strapped onto the person and needs to be Sundered.
    ----------------------------------------------

This reminds me of another relatively recent thread...
Monks and Locked Gauntlets The debate here being, can monks proficient with gauntlets actually use them WITHOUT class penalties, because they are pieces of armor.

So, anyone else have little things that I can use to give my campaign some flavor? I'll add more of what I come up with as I go.

I know of a few things you could add, but I'll leave the fancy descriptions and side effects up to you.

Roast Pig (At least 2 encounters in the CotCT AP have pigs/boar, one of which being a butcher shop.)

Imp's Delight (Alligator Gumbo being pawned off as Pseudo Dragon meat.)

Reef Claw Cuisine (Reef Claw's from the description I remember are basically large, mind you abberant, lobsters. Break out the "Old Bay" Season, Melt some Butter and Pass the claws!)

Hippogriff Goulash{Hot N' Spicy Hippogriff?} (Not so cleverly disguised chicken {or some other type of readily available foul} served excessively spicy with peppers and onions. {possibility of causing the sickening condition} "Uses only the bird portion of meat of course, cuz most folks aren't interested in horse meat.")

My thought... The scummier the tavern, the more likely the meals are just common every day food with a ton of spice(or none) with a fancy piratey-truckstop slop-house names.
