Dakoyo patched up Quonx as best he could after the michanic had gotten hurt so badly disabling those computer nodes. The trip back to the Pact worlds was an enjoyable time for the priest, as he got to heal his friends, talk with their nufriends, the Emerald Empyrean passengers, and studied Ibra at the side of another priest who was one of the other passengers. And then to be made a full partner in Nanochevkin's operations! What a glorious future lay ahead!

Once Quonx got there and started working on the node, Dakoyo skittered off to try to find another one. This was actually a pretty fun game, and if he concentrated really hard, he could almost feel where Ibra's forces clashed with the science thingies.

Dakoyo scurried through the ducts frantically searching for the computer nodes. More than once he prayed to Ibra for guidance.

Dakoyo saw Nako get hit and sighed. He was almost out of healing spells but this was a bad fight. And it wasn't like his needler was going to do much to the robot anyways. He called on Ibra and healed Nako once more.

With that, Dakoyo pointed his pistol and fired. He was dismayed to see the needles bouncing off the plastisteel carapace.

"Well, you see it was like this. We were out doing a normal bit of salvage when this deranged pirate woman - Captain Sleezy, no not that one a different one - tried to attack us. We asked her to politely wait while we tried to avoid a drift storm, but she wouldn't, and her ship was fused to ours in a way that probably makes sense to the science and engineering types, but you'd probably just say magic. We crashed on this weird planet, found some more salvage, nearly got eaten by a giant crocodile, helped some people out, got offered a terrific salvage gig, then came back here after dropping Captain Sleezy and her nice pirates off and securing a promise for the pirates to leave all of Nakonechkin Salvage ships alone from now on."

Dakoyo let the others help with the repairs while he focused on helping repair bodies. Several of the pirates had open wounds and sores from the surrounding area, and Dakoyo knew how to fix those.

Seeing that the creatures had no intent to stop, Dakoyo held his staff and needler at the ready. He pointed and a small rock flew up from the ground and flew at the one engaging Nako. Unfortunately, Dakoyo still hadn't gotten around to learning how to aim when throwing something towards himself, and nearly brained himself with the rock instead.

Dakoyo lowered his needler and used his telekinetic powers to grab a loose coffee mug from one of the stations and slam it into the enemy's head. Unfortunately, 3D geometry wasn't the priest's strong suit.

"The air here is breathable, but I would not want to breathe it unfiltered for too long. No obvious pathogens or spores, but a bit high on some of the trace elements. We should be fine..."
He broke off as Nik-a-nik started pointing out the disturbance off in the distance. "That is possible Nik-anik, but it is unlikely. I am sensing a disturbance like a planar rift. It's not far away, though. Maybe something there can be of help!"
