Print the pages and put that one first. Done. fixed. I was thinking about maybe expanding skills section. If you are a wizard you can't fit all the skills on the page. Secondly I think it would be cool if you could click on your skills and it would show what type of bonuses you had. e.g. competence, trait, etc.... BTW, this sheet is excellent, I use it for every game session. :)
Never have played via post before, not sure of protocol but figured what they hey. Let me know if I can streamline this or if something needs to be fixed. Will work on character when not at work....lol...rolls and background for now. Roll #1 (4d6, and keep the top3): 6, 4, 4 (3) = 14
Background:I wasn’t born under a full moon, nor did a star sparkle when I came out kicking and screaming. Being born from a whore was not really the best start. I learned many things growing up that would make the strongest men blush. Humility was not becoming of a person with my lineage. I was a whore’s daughter and that is all people would think of me as. I wasn’t shamed by this, I embraced my heritage. I figured if they were all ready going to look at me I might as well make sure I can use it to my advantage. I joined the rogue’s guild very young. They made me to use my beauty so others could make us gold. A little strutting over here with a sly wink would damn sure buy me food for a week if the right partner was working the crowd.
How do people feel about having to create a backstory for your character? I know I like have a sense of where my character has been and where he/she wants to go. Do you think your DM/GM should use your history for in game experience? Is a backstory necessary for any character? I know I believe so, how else does a goblin rogue party with a Fetchling Paladin. I realized as I was making a new character for a campaign today that the longest and hardest issue I have with characters is making their backstory work. Does anyone else experience this?
As far as determining if a person is affected by an illusion it is not nigh impossible. Take Color Spray for instance. You can see the effects, I know you are eluding to other illusions but the basis for this single spell is color spray. Duration is instantaneous.
I understand it has a way to go and that we both have to come to terms with how the damage will be figured but we are also looking at spells that follow the same damage progression and then figuring out a minor boost since this spell is dependant on another spell.
Sidenote I agree with the adding pattern to the signifier sentence.
We are able to create spells in our Pathfinder Campaign. First off I am playing a human Wiz/Rog who focuses on Color Spray. So far we are working on an advanced Color Spray spell. Increased levels so on and so forth. One idea I proposed was to create a spell that does damage to creatures that are affected by my illusions spells. We bantered back and forth about the level of the spell, the damage done, etc. so far this is what we have come up with. Mind wrenching Illusion
Any creature affected by one of your illusions feels as if their head is being torn apart. Creatures within a 15' cone that are affected take 1d6/every 2 caster levels (Max 10d6). If a single creature is targeted that creature takes 1d6/caster level. (max 15d6) The DM increased the spell damage because the spell is dependant on another spell. Please let me know your thoughts.
Generally, I dislike playing any race that doesn't have darkvision. Of course I like to play rogues and it is pretty hard to hide with a torch in hand or ioun stone floating around your head. The one class I do not like to play is ranger. The only promising thing I see for them is that they can track. Other than that I can build a better fighter. BTW - Use an animal that has scent instead of a ranger, it is cheaper. :) I loved the Whisper Gnome from Race of Stone in D&D3.5. It was a great race for the rogue class. I will say though I agree that the Gnome stat bump should be for either int or cha, it just makes more sense. As far as rolling or point buy, I prefer rolling. I would rather roll 3d6 6 times and imagine my character afterwards then try to justify why I have a 6 in some stat just to boost another. |
