Pugwampi's... the single greatest critter for part 1 of Legacy of Fire. My players never did get em all, and from time to time experience the aura's of the little guys!
To be a real bugger, you could have one of em stow away in the pack of one of the adventurers to add a little "FUN" to the next few parts of the adventure path! Not that I would have done that... oh no... not at all! ;) ;D ;P
At my table We've included the use of the Critical Hit and Fumble Decks to determine those outcomes. Also we've been using a version of Damage Threshold from Unearthed Arcana! Characters would begin play with a threshold score equal to their Con score +2pts per HD (so a 4th lv character with a 14 CON would have a threshold of 22). The DC to resist the massive damage if the threshold is hit is set at DC 15 (Fort), which has proven to be enough when a characters threshold goes off! Other than that it's pretty much how the rule-set it designed and we're all looking forward to continuing on our adventures! Keep those dice rolling all!
Wizard has always been my class of choice so naturally i'm looking forward to converting/upgrading my beta wizard over to the new core rules. The rogue being my number 2 choice will also see some play time in the near future! Plus... i'm even liking the new bard so after 10 years with the game i'll have to finally give that a whirl! ;)
If your gonna go with Darkmoon Vale and its adventures, then I'll suggest to add to the wish list the module: Tower of the Last Baron (LB1). Its still (just) within the realm of Darkmoon Vale and can add another interesting location for you and your gamerz! Plus the cross country travel between say Falcons Hollow and Perins Bluff can be an adventure in it self!
Keep those dice rolling!

Same here, once I introduced both decks to my group, we never looked back and have kept using them ever since... and in the games to come! ;) I also plan to snag another of each once they are released again! |
