So how is this to be run?
The text in the scenario says you must use the 4th level pregens, but yet the chronicle sheet is setup for levels 3 to 6...

The first thought that came to me when I saw this is "Now we're adding Spelljammer to the PF multiverse."

Now I liked Spelljammer and played and DM'ed a lot of it but it didn't mesh well with the "normal settings" because adding it in drastically changes a campaign's direction.

So I'm glad to see that this is being introduced as a separate entity and not just yet another campaign setting / companion book (which in my opinion is getting quite old - but that is something for another day)

I guess my hesitation with getting on board with it when it comes out is the same problem I have with the core PF - the endless adder books and no pdf subscription. I mean how many character classes and archetypes and feats (especially feats) and traits (ditto) do we really need? I would much rather see all that energy put into good, original adventures with tie-ins to world/location development.

I finally was able to download all the files that I didn't have from the bundle.
Chrome was too exasperating since it kept logging me out so frequently so I used IE 11 (windows 7 pro) and got through them. But I think it was more timing than anything else.

I had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes for the personalizing and then another few minutes before the download would start. And the download speed is slow as well.

Be patient and you will get your files. Paizo's "hw/sw upgrade" only helped marginally.

Yeah getting really frustrated now. Bought the bundle the first day and have only successfully downloaded 3 of the files.

So a couple comments in regards to what Paizo posted in the other thread about keeping us updated...

No the new hardware is not picking up the slack like you said it would - nor is any "improvements" in the programming that you may have done.

And no the files don't stay in the queue after the response of "Personalizing" comes up because when I try again later - maybe 10 minutes, maybe 4 hours - it still wants to "personalize" the files again.

So I attribute the 3 files that I did get downloaded as flukes of the system.

Its a shame that Paizo can't see past their own nose and allow other sites involved in etrade (like rpgnow and drivethru rpg) sell their files.

Got my first download from the humble bundle just now. Seemed to take about 10 minutes before the file was ready for the actual download.

Is it inconvenient to have to wait? Sure. But considering the price and the fact that most of the money I paid is going to support children's hospitals, it's just not a problem to me.

Hello customer service,

How long does it usually take to get a response via your email link (i.e. one to acknowledge receipt and another with a possible resolution).

Thank you

So if I am reading this correctly. At first level the occultist gets 2 implements and can add one knack and one 1st level spell belonging to each implement group to the spells he knows.

And every level there after he adds one spell per implement of a spell level he can use.

Correct?

Hi I've been thinking of getting a AP subscription for a while but I recently purchased the first two volumes of Wrath of the Righteous in paperback and I am extremely displeased with the quality of the binding. I've only read them through so far and pages are falling out already. By the time I use them at the gaming table I'll have to punch holes in them and put them in a 3 ring binder.

My question for everyone out there is:
Are all the AP books as poorly bound as the ones I purchased?
The print quality is great but if these two volumes are indicative of the quality put into binding them, then I'll have to pass buying the books.

Thanks in advance for any insight the community can give me on this.

What about bull rushing someone into the area covered by a black tentacles spell?

I have a couple of mats and draw the encounters that will happen later on that one and then cover it with my second mat and draw the current stuff there.

Plus for "permanent" locations like a base of operations or that tavern they always go to I use the map paper that comes in rolls So I can make it any size I want.

I also had/have issues with chatting players so I made a rule that if you are at the game table and the session is in progress **ANYTHING YOU SAY - YOUR CHARACTER SAYS**

Enforce that a couple of times and they will tend to stop being so chatty - or at least they will try to preface things with "Can I say something Out of Character".

But be nice about enforcing it - I have a CN rogue player that loves to interject very graphic and overtly evil comments into situations. So the first couple of times I had asked him, "Do you really say that?" Of course he says no, and I give him a reminder. But the third time, well, the cost of his snarky remark was very costly indeed. Now if he even so much as hints at something like that coming out the rest of the players police him. :)

Thanks Valantrix1. Your post gave me an idea to look up something.

The graveknight's sacrilegious aura is a supernatural ability. When I looked up the SU descriptor it specifically states:

"A supernatural ability’s effect cannot be dispelled and is not subject to counterspells."

So it looks like a consecrate spell would have no effect at all on the graveknight's aura.

Anyone got any ideas about this??

So I am going to subject my players to their first encounter with a graveknight. I was wondering what people thought about what happens if a Consecrate spell is cast inside the graveknight's sacrilegious aura. Does it affect the aura at all and if so does it need to be cast directly on its armor and how would it affect the aura?
