I'm not exactly sure how much I could speed run Carrion Crown AP in 1e since it is a new concept for myself though not insurmountable, but I have a complete roll20 table and ran it twice before (one group was core only). Currently I play starfinder on Tuesdays and run 2e on Thursdays at 5pm PDT (gmt -07). So Mondays and Wednesdays would be best if it was to happen.
Why was it CRITICAL to change Druids from having 4 skills to 3? Casters are already at a disadvantage in this iteration.
I see the boon mentions most of the tiers for a replay. However, can it be used to replay a tier 12-15 (i.e., the first part of All for Immortality series) with 5 checks, maybe all 6 checked?
Dan, you were a good man and fellow player. You will be missed.
Thank you both for your service in pioneering this great game in a great format, guys!!!
Thanks for another awesome, fun-filled PFS Online Con!

As a reminder, make sure games are listed with Roll20CON's LFG system or the game will not count for credit during the con.
Here is the link to the listing for my game on Roll20.
When I try to search for it through LFG I cannot find it listed... weird. WOOT, I have figured out why I wasn't able to find my listing in LFG. It has to do with the 2 check boxes, welcome new players, and Mature Content(18+). The search is very specific to those check boxes. By selecting Mature Content(18+), only, since that was the choice I made in my original listing, one will find games that have been listed as such. Some games have been listed with both listing options, welcome new players, and Mature Content(18+) and a search with both boxes clicked will reflect that too.

John Compton wrote: The language in the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide phrased in the way it is so that should the Core Rulebook not address how a rule or option operates, the Bestiary can serve as a reference. That covers things like the Improved Natural Armor and Improved Natural Attack feats, which appear in the Bestiary only. This also allows the summon monster and summon nature's ally spells function, as the Bestiary is necessary to procure the creatures' statistics and operate the spells.
It may be that while reading through the animal companion entry, I missed the last paragraph under Animal Choices, which plugs the Bestiary as a great place to find other animal companion choices.
Your analysis of how those two elements overlap is astute and logical. It just happens to not line up with the intention of the text in the Guide. The intention is that the Bestiary animal companions are not available in the Core Campaign. If that means we need to clean up the language in the next iteration, so be it.
Why does this sound like Rules As Intended when PFS is Rules As Written?
Nothing should change at all.

Woot! Welcome, Tonya. A fresh perspective will be great for PFS!
This thread is currently closed, due to an abundance of responses.
I will now comb through the candidates and email/PM all involved with an answer by the end of today, Friday 09/04/2015.
Thank you!
Correction: 09/20/2015 is the correct starting date.
I am currently looking for only one player to join the group (3 existing players already). All responses within an unannounced length of time will be considered. This is for a Carrion Crown Adventure Path, played in campaign mode, earning PFS credit for a legal character as we complete the six books.
The plan is the play on Sundays from 8AM to Noon PDT [GMT -7], starting on 08/20/2015, with character creation. There will be no games on major holiday weekends, which includes: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, etc... Also, there will be a one session break between the completion of each book.
As for character creation, the following is tentative and subject to change within reason:
*All hardback books are legal for play except for the Advanced Class Guide, which has been restricted to archetypes only. Adventurer's Armory is the only legal softback book for play.
*20 point stat buy
*Non-Evil
*Core races and the following three races only: Changeling (no racial archetypes allowed), Dhampir (racial inquisitor archetype allowed), Orc (all racial archetypes allowed)
*No Gunslingers (this means no guns, period... sorry picaroon) or Summoners. Slumber Hex will limited to player's current max hit dice (ie., if your character is fifth level than it can effect up to a 5HD creature)
*Backgrounds will be generated using the Ultimate Campaign system (drawbacks will be an option)
*Crafting magic items will be limited (still working on the details)
If you want to apply for consideration please respond by sending me a PM.
Thanks!
It took a few hours but the bug has left the website it seems... In the "Date Last Downloaded" column everything was listed as, never. Now the dates are back and I was able to DL Serpent's Rise. Just want True Dragons of Absalom to be added to my account.
I have received 6-98 Serpent's Rise, but NOT 6-99 True Dragons of Absalom yet. When I tried to to download Serpents Rise the page started crashing... Kill the goblins in the interwebs!
Edit: I cannot download anything from my assets on the page.

Once again, English is not pairing with glossary terms.
I am really curious to hear what the devs have to say about this. Are ongoing penalties from spells considered distractions?
So far I am hearing opinions on interpretations, not actual rules. What constitutes distraction? Taking a -1 luck penalty to attack, damage, saves, and skills sounds distracting to me.

Do monsters, affected by player character spells such as Faerie Fire, Prayer and/or Glitterdust (not the blindness obviously, but the penalty to stealth regardless of save) have to make Concentration checks to cast spells due to penalties from ongoing effects?
According to the PRD, Table: Concentration Checks DCs - Affected by a non-damaging spell while casting. Concentration Check DC is DC of the spell + spell level.
PRD...
Spell: If you are affected by a spell while attempting to cast a spell of your own, you must make a concentration check or lose the spell you are casting. If the spell affecting you deals damage, the DC is 10 + the damage taken + the level of the spell you're casting.
If the spell interferes with you or distracts you in some other way, the DC is the spell's saving throw DC + the level of the spell you're casting. For a spell with no saving throw, it's the DC that the spell's saving throw would have if a save were allowed (10 + spell level + caster's ability score).
Just found tables that were deleted from my GM count... It will be a LONG fix for me.
My GM table count went from 258 to 225. I have not played/run any ACG. Please help.
TEO Cheatle wrote: I don't see the EBA making all these mistakes, like some of you are going on about. We gave the understanding that they were in a combat zone, we gave them the tools to contact us, several groups gave them gear/recipes/expendables, and divided towers evenly.
The issue here is that they didn't understand the political climate. Maybe we could have been more clearer, maybe they misunderstood what we were saying, personally I think there was a miscommunication, and it wasn't double checked. My point is that we did not throw BWG under the bus, whether some of you want to say so or not.
We gave them the keys to success, they didn't use those keys. Furthermore, it specifically states in our alliance agreement that they will defend themselves to the best of their abilities, and if they need help they request help, they did not request help, nor even contact us that they were being attacked. We can't be everywhere all the time, we can be in key locations, and the hex they were attacked in wasn't a key location. We don't have the manpower (yet), to patrol every single hex in our territory.
You all can agree or disagree with me, but short of stationing people to handhold, and protect their settlement 24/7, we did everything else we could possibly do.
Cheatle, honestly I had no clue about any of this. Didn't even know we could call on others. I knew about the towers, and some tier 1 +2 equipment, but as far as anything else, nope. Oh, and it is hard to understand about a political environment when I barely understood one existed. I learned about the politics the hard way, after the fact. If I had all of this knowledge earlier, like say during the kickstarter days, I would have never back this project.
With that said, I do hope for the rest of everyone playing this game, that they have the best experiences possible.
In war, whichever side may call itself the victor, there are no winners, but all are losers.
One good thing did come from backing the kickstarters for me... The Emerald Spire superdungeon. I have already ran the whole thing once for PFS, and now I am running it again as Core for PFS. Tabletop is tops!

Maybe I should have done more research into this game, hindsight is 20/20. However, I am glad I sold my account as now that I read the forums, more and more this is not my game, nor is it really Pathfinder... more like PvPfinder.
TEO Alexander Damocles wrote: If you are in a small settlement and you need Tier 2 gear, you can ask a larger group if you could buy gear with materials. If someone were to offer us a sizeable amount of coal or the like, I'm fairly sure we could come to some sort of arrangement. Same with recipes etc.
People think they are stuck. The answer is to change your perspective and realize that individuals can work together, groups can work together, and settlements can work together.
The biggest problem is communication, as in-game those mechanics are juvenile compared to other MMOs. There are the boards of course, but I suppose you have to live your life on here to be embroiled.

If they had wanted to, they could have fought us. But we worked harder, smarter, and longer than they did. And we were rewarded by winning the fight. It is a shame that they took that failure as an absolute, instead of a challenge to rise above.
Potentially.
It is important however for those of us from big groups to realize that settlements with 5 or 10 members often need everyone to craft. Even the PvE combat ability is secondary.
I know nothing about BWG other than meeting them in game and they seemed nice guys but if they are like most small settlements they would have been struggling to get to T2 gear and almost everyone would have been of necessity a dedicated refiner or crafter with a modicum of combat.
This is of course exactly why Ryan said small settlements are not viable. No one in BWG at the time had Tier 2 gear. A few of us had some Tier 1 +2 stuff, but that was about it.
Bah, will be running core level 3 at that time :(
This is just not the game I was hoping for. My account has 2 characters, already named: Quarion Meliamne & Ruiten Dwint'larn. Ruiten is the DT and has full unused XP. My Main, Quarion, is Cleric 9/Fighter 6.
My account has 16-17 months of game time left.
Make me an offer by PM please.
This is the second MMO I have ever wanted to play. The first was WoW. Did that for a couple of years and quit. I did beta Elder Scrolls Online... not my game either. I guess I am just a Tabletop kind of guy.
I'm done too... is selling accounts a thing?
Gol Guurzak wrote: The primary source of conflict and dramatic tension in PFO has always been intended to be other players. If the game you want to play is one of players struggling against NPC foes and environmental challenges, PFO is probably not going to be that game. Which saddens me for the Pathfinder brand. This is just Kingmaker AP, the worst AP imo.
