Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() I'm sorry to have to do this, but I've just started a new semester at school and the class load is much heavier than I anticipated. I've really enjoyed this game, but I'm going to have to bow out to make sure I have enough time to focus on school. I wish you all the best of luck with the game, and I hope to game with you in the future. ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() I will leave that to the sneakier party members. Cora plans on playing the part of the perfect acolyte so she may learn information through diplomatic measures. Cora listens to the briefing on their next learning session. Public interaction is always useful. Group walking is just pretentious though. She gives a confused and concerned look, turning to Quinn. ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 Cora sleeps soundly through the night. Cora may be trained in the general activities of the pious, but waking up early in the morning was a particular weakness for her chosen deity. She rolls up after being pushed by the others, grumbling and weary-eyed and grumpy. At the breakfast she just quietly seethes. This is the cruelest part of the whole process, this isn't even a real breakfast! Once assigned to the heavy labor, Cora truly starts to hate the members here. No good reason, just cruel and unusual punishment. Not even effective use of labor. Senseless. She memorizes the face of her victimizer for future reference. At the praying Cora does much better. The Laughing God may not be the lecturing sort, but there's enough of it that she knows how to memorize a lot of facts quickly. When lunch comes around Cora just stares at it. That's it. No mercy will be shown. She hungrily rips through the food and sits unsatisfied. Cora inwardly groans at the cleaning, but at least it's not more hard labor. She may not be particularly strong but she's pretty tough. Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 Cha: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() Cora uses her cleric training to make the transition look real, praying and reciting words from Razmir's doctrine. Inside the room she looks around at all the new people. If the other acolytes have interesting things to add to the story I'd be happy to roleplay with them, but if not I'm ready to move on. ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() Cora wakes with a start and listens silently. Once she feels the pouch on her thigh she relaxes somewhat. At least we kept some of our dignity. Despite how the situation may look, this is what they wanted. She keeps quiet when water is brought besides a quiet "Praise be to Razmir." each time. Cora obediently follows along. An opportunity will come. She need only be patient. ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() Yay! Sounds like a 28 than. I've marked the 2gp off of my sheet. Oh good there's a map. Definitely no impending combat. "Thanks! Have any local specialties or special ales?" She cheerily orders a drink while keeping an ear open for the half-elf. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() Cora first wants to find some kind of item to help her hide her holy symbol, like a skin-colored pouch on a strap she can put on her upper thigh or something like that. After that my vote is to move ahead to the meeting at the Rangers Lament, but if the others want to find money for the tithe first I'm ok with that. ![]()

![]() "It's a pleasure." Cora sits and happily piles some food on her plate. She eats while the other introductions are made, then clears her throat. "I suppose I'll get right to it than. We heard that bandits dressed as Razmirian priests have cherry picked amulets out of a hoarde of treasure. Is there anything you know that could help us find them?" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 ![]()

![]() Cora's spiritual weapon attacks once more before vanishing as her bolt flies through the rain, both aimed at the driver of the ship. Spiritual Weapon: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

![]() Cora runs out on deck, then turns to the pirates and narrows her eyes. "Navnik laraek!" A force rapier appears next to the person on the wheel, stabbing at him. Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Spiritual Weapon. I don't believe that suffers from the concealment miss chance. Edit: Whoops, forgot the concentration roll. Concentration DC 7: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() Cora sprints at an amazing speed around the edge of the boat, curving around to end behind the crab as she stabs at it! Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 2 = 12
Moving to G6 and attacking the crab at F7 to provide flanking. Cora has a move speed of 40 ft. so she can get around without provoking pretty easily. ![]()

![]() "Woah, don't want to catch any of those." Cora touches Brayken's weapon, causing it to burst into brilliant flames. Sun Metal on whatever weapon Brayken's draws. ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() Cora takes a moment to let it sink in. They travel in groups that large, we will need to enlist more help. However she knows that he would have brought more help if he could have; she will have to find some elsewhere. "Unless Markus has something else, I am ready to depart." ![]()
Female Halfling Cleric 3
![]() "Reginar, can you tell us anything else about him? Human, elf, short, fat? Just want to know who I'm looking for." She drums her fingers on the table for a moment. "I suppose...do you have any further knowledge of the bandits? Like what kind of weapons or tactics they use, and in what numbers they often attack? I know these questions are vague and grasping, but I would know all that I can before embarking on a dangerous venture." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 ![]()

![]() Cora follows Markus in, bright smile lighting up the room. Got some potential work as an adventurer, coin is doing ok, and the sun is shining. It's shaping up to be a good day. When ushered inside she shrugs. "What we lack in numbers we'll make up for in talent." She listens intently to the briefing, nodding along and giving hmms in response. She frowns at the talk of Razmir followers. "That is an evil cult, it's disturbing that there are faithful of him acting. I absolutely do, anything that I can do to help cleanse them."
