Probably been done to death but I am struggling with how Two Weapon Fightin/Improved Two Weapon Fighting and the various Shield feats interact (Shield Master, etc).

Level 12 core Fighter

Str Bonus +5

Two Weapon Fighting
Improved Two Weapon Fighting
Two Weapon Defence
Weapon Focus: Longsword
Weapon Focus: Heavy Shield
Shield Focus
Greater Shield Focus
Improved Shield Bash
Shield Master
Shield Slam

Weapon Training (Heavy Blades) +2
Weapon Training (Close - which includes shields) +1

+1 Longsword
+1 Heavy Shield

Hero Labs gave me the following attacks for dual wielding:

Longsword: +17/+12/+7 1d8+8
Heavy Shield: +20/+15 1d4+7

Does this mean when dual wielding my LS and Shield, I have 5 attacks - +17/+12/+7 (@ 1d8+8) and then +20/+15 (@ 1d4+7) - plus keeping my full shield AC while shield bashing?

Go on...

Greetings,

Currently playing a Druid and love being the parties "fur based murder train" as a wildshaped large bear (at level 7 at the mo).

But looking at the future "forms", I don't feel the elemental and plant forms really fit the "style" my character is going for.

Does anyone have any thoughts on carrying on the animal based forms into bigger and nastier "animal" forms?

Has anyone come across any already existing tools or homebrewed that can provide laser targeting for others?

I am planning on "upgrading" my Mechanic's drone so that it can designate targets in cover (Markerlight drones in 40k).

Cool. Cheers.

Just had a quick scan over the rules, and I noticed first that there is no "Precision Shot" (or equivilant) feat.

Then reading further I couldn't find the penalty for shooting into combat (assuming there should be one as per PF).

Can anyone point me where I have missed this?

I have taken the Plant domain instead of Animal Companion for my Druid (for thematic rather than mechanical reason).

The first ability of the Plant domain is Wooden Fist:

Wooden Fist (Su): As a free action, your hands can become as hard as wood, covered in tiny thorns. While you have wooden fists, your unarmed strikes do not provoke attacks of opportunity, deal lethal damage, and gain a bonus on damage rolls equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum +1). You can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier. These rounds do not need to be consecutive.

Now the wording from Polymorph description is:

While under the effects of a polymorph spell, you lose all extraordinary and supernatural abilities that depend on your original form (such as keen senses, scent, and darkvision), as well as any natural attacks and movement types possessed by your original form.

Any thoughts? Is it as simple as, its a SU ability so no go?

Cheers in advance.

Edit to add: Would Bramble Armour (the 6th level ability) also be a no go?

Cheers guys

Greetings,

I am trying to work our how much its should cost to create a Wild set of Hide armour.

My thinking is as follows:

Hide armour (MW) 165gp
+1 enhancement bonus 1000gp (1165gp total)
+3 "Wild" bonus 9000gp (10165gp total)

Does this sound right or am I missing something?

I am leaning more towards adding the bonuses together and then squaring them (i.e. 1+3 = 4, 4*4 = 16, 16 * 1000 = 16,000, 16,000 + 165 = 16165gp total.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.

I thought 1D6 plus bonuses was a bit wimpy compared to the actual animals 2D8 plus bonuses.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Probably been answered before but for the life of me I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Using Wild Shape I change into a medium sized creature (Bull Shark in this situation), and I gain all natural attacks that creature has.

Now the Bull Shark is listed as having a bite attack with 2D8 damage (plus bonuses), however the natural attacks table says that a medium bite is 1d6 (plus bonuses).

Which damage should I be rolling, 2D8 (as listed for the animal) or 1D6 for a medium bite (as listed in the natural attacks table)?

Thanks in advance.
